I have fried turkeys for 10 years. Always outside until last year, when I bought this electric. Love it. And as far as the Tony Chachere's... I use 2 bottles for one 14-16lb bird, plus the powder. Go crazy. The stuff is awesome and every bite of even the white meat will be juicy. Poke that sucker with the needle 20 times, lol. Walmart sells a meat injection needle for about $5. It is more durable and will last.
I cook mine in the garage with some cardboard underneath the unit to keep the grease spillage to a minimum. I open my garage door a little bit as well . Always successful
I just received my masterbuilt today from Walmart🤗🙌🏾!!! I can’t wait to cook our Christmas Turkey in it🩷🩷!! I’m going to do like you did as well, and do a test one first though😊!!
I wouldn’t call the skin crispy either, but the meat turned out really good. I’d probably try making sure the skin was really dry and maybe let it sit open in the fridge for a few hours to try getting the skin a bit crispier once you fry it, although I’m not sure you would get a nice crispy skin without breading it and then frying it
You are right for sure, but I still won’t be using it inside with a turkey. Once the turkey went it, definitely gets things smoking and sizzling which I’d just rather have outside personally
I have bought 2 brand new out the box Masterbuilt turkey fryers and tried to use them on 2 separate occasions and both times the cooking vessel leaked oil and made a mess, I believe that they leaked from the drain spout area. Not satisfied at all…
They both have salt in them for sure. Overall it was delicious, but I’m going to be slightly less generous with the seasoning for Thanksgiving than I did on this cook

The injectable butter definitely made my Thanksgiving turkey super juicy, nothing was dry. Will definitely be using it again next year!

Garage is a great idea too!

Awesome, I love mine! Our Thanksgiving turkey turned out great
Was the skin crispy? I can't seem to get crispy skin on my turkeys with this fryer. It comes out cooked and juicy but always with rubbery skin.

It’s for indoors. That’s why it takes so long to get to temperature. They made this so you won’t have to go outside.

What’s your favorite way to cook your Thanksgiving turkey?

That’s a bummer, was the drain valve off and was there a clear rubber washer between the spout and the black screw-on cap?
So the liquid and seasoning both salty?

Wait, you said no part of the turkey was moist. You mean dry?
Yes, it was very moist throughout, definitely not dry
They are moist..wouldn't know it's fried in grease..been frying for about 4+yrs
About hr to heat..hr to cook
@@soonersdevil - I'm a sooner in Norman. Been frying turkeys for 10 years. Yes, the most juicy birds ever. Use lots of injectable. lol
