I have had a hard time being objective about anything Miss Strahovski does since I was as bombshell-shocked as Chuck was when I first saw her. My guy Dexter chose right.

That scene where Dexter stopped himself from going inside his apartment- and seeing what was waiting for him - was one of my favorites in the season so far.
Scenes following made me love the Isaak character.
He was a Baby Terminator. "I'm coming for you Dexter, and nothing is going to stop me." LOL!
"That will get him away from the serial killer and more into the justice killing"
The whole thing though has always been that Dexter IS a serial killer, with the same urges, just pointing it towards bad people. He kills because he's a serial killer , NOT for justice. That's just more of a substitute. Getting rid of the slides doesn't make him any less of a serial killer. At best it allows Deb to PRETEND he's not. At best. He's a serial killer. "what if I get rid of the slides?". Well he's still a serial killer. Still doing the exact same thing for the exact same reason, just hiding it a little.
It would be like a wife telling her husband she doesn't want him cheating on her anymore.
"What if I wore a mask and different clothes so it doesn't LOOK like I'm cheating?"
Petition for mr. And mrs. To dress up as dexter and deb for the finale lol 😂
Anyway the costume for dexter : Long Sleeve Henley Shirt, Vinyl Waterproof Apron, Military Army Cargo Pants, Chukka Boots, Leather Gloves, and a Fake Knife.
For deb : Elbow patched blazer, Button down shirt, Black slacks, Black leather belt, Work shoes, Police badge, Belt holster, and a Fake gun.
It's funny seeing Deb say they're looking for the terminator, i said "no, hes the punisher" since that actor played the punisher in one of the punisher movies.
Nope, no bed. Same action, just right there on the table. I do like Hannah, she’s a better match for Dexter than Rita, at least when considering the long term ramifications. But, I always felt that she wasn’t as well matched for him as Lumen. Dexter and Hannah make sense, but they don’t feel as authentic as he and Lumen did; the chemistry isn’t as strong, regardless of what the next episode says about it… over and over. Still, a good pick for Dex.
And now we see in full just how much of a threat Isaac is. He’s theoretically the most dangerous of all Dexter’s enemies. He’s got more resources than Miguel or Jordan had, he’s better at combat than Brian or Travis, and while he’s probably not as strong as Trinity, he’s better with weapons, especially firearms. Also, he’s the only one of Dexter’s main enemies who isn’t either insane, a sadist, or completely devoid of empathy. This is an opponent Dexter had not faced the likes of before. I know I keep talking him up, but Isaac is just so cool for being so different. Not that his other enemies weren’t cool in their own right, and Trinity is still my fav, but Isaac is so out of context for Dexter, and so suave, that he stands out.
I'm totally with you, I loooved Isaac. So intelligent and patient yet absolutely brutal.
I thought he killed Hannah. I hoped so...
So, now Debs know that Dexter:
-killed icetruck killer, Apocalypse killer, Jordan Chase and his company, Trinity
-was the Bay Harbour butcher
She doesnt know he killed The Skinner killer and Miguel Prado

Hannah was my least favorite partner in crime for Dexter. I forget why. I guess I just didn't see the connection between the two of them.

Issak was such a great character. He wasn’t pure evil like Brian, Lyla, Miquel, Arthur, Chase, and Tom Hanks Jr. He was bad guy but he had honor. He kept his word and only killed out of necessity, not taking joy in it.
Tell that to the guy who had a screwdriver thrust into his eye socket.

I went back and forth on BED OR TABLE because Michael C Hall and Yvonne Strahovski has great chemistry in their scenes together so it made me lean towards bed but then when Dexter talked about killing her in his inner monologue it was clear she would get the table but their chemistry got the best of him

There’s absolutely no chemistry there and you were fed forced contrived lines, scenes, moments to make you think otherwise and bit on everyone of them to delude yourself or a Yvonne fan boi who likes anything and has chemistry w/everyone to you..Was so bad they tried to spell it out for you and make an episode called Chemistry and drop those awful lines as definitions of what it means. We know what natural chemistry is. Wasn’t it.

Yvonne Strahovski ''Hannah'' is simply the finest thing ever to appear on screen...even almost 10yrs later as Mrs Waterford ''handmaids tale'' she looks as good as ever and a fantastic actor, you two need to check out ''handmaids tale'' the ''mrs'' will love it some badass women in it.

Hannah is the worst thing ever to appear on Dexter. The actress being beautiful doesn't change the fact that the character destroyed this show.

Despite my Hannah loathing, I do love this season for lot of aspects, Deb / Dex dynamic of finding out though I hate things later, , Issak, Dex/Issak, Maria on trail of BHB, some more scenes / moments and things you’ll see also later. Would’ve rather Lumen to come back- the darkness returned and she’s leaving bodies in his M.O to get his attention maybe or shows up. At least they had a built in connection not something they forced down our throats or force w stuff like sharing their death experiences like they’re on a date sharing their 1st sexual experiences god awful line. No chemistry whatsoever. She’s not even him like him as a killer.
Yea if it weren't for Hannah i would say this season is actually good...it has some great things but the hannah thing really brings it down...the same for season 8...Hannah plus that how that finale went
