Total fail on my end on the request list, but enjoyed the box anyways. We figured out it was Atari 2600 afterwards. What do you use to clean your cases?
Those double disc PS1 cases were also used for single disc games that had manuals and/or maps too thick to fit in a standard jewel case…many of the RPGs
Wish you took the time to give us some close up views of what you got. You were racing through everything and barely flipped your pulls toward the camera so we could see them..
Love Double Jump! You can tell the guys that work there love what they do and want to make the customers happy (Except evil Ryan). Can't wait till they move into their new store. It's sounding epic!
Its def ffx the final fantasy game ur thinking of because i love that game and go back to it all the time for nostalgia its s great game its got remakes on newer gens also if u didnt wanna go back to the ps2 one and its the same game just better graphics
NeoGeo Pocket is an awesome system I have it. make sure you get the Neo Geo Pocket Color it will play all the Neo Geo games. Metal Slug is an awesome game
Just for your information I watch a lot of double jump video games videos all the time and i was the one who suggested that they do Mystery boxes for double jump video games website back in the day and look at it now good idea everyone loved it I'm kenny from Eugene oregon
Exactly. This is all risk and you end up with half filler. Waste of money. He basically lost $500 because now he has to pay fees and shipping when he sells, plus the filler won’t sell. Not sure why he put a clickbait title when he’s basically promoting these boxes.
@@retrogameg4721I was waiting for someone to post who has absolutely no clue what the purpose of a mystery box is and here you are... Your point is true in that he won't make money reselling that stuff, thankfully that's not at all why you buy a mystery box so your point is completely irrelevant. You can still delete this so you don't look stupid :)
That's only feasable if you also make boxes worth like 800. And that just isn't their model, everyone needs to get value. It's not gambling where you either lose or win, it's a mystery box with a known value
The answer to should you buy a $1000 mystery box is always NO!! If you have $1000 to spend on video games, you're better off picking games you actually want or need. Condition, complete, duplicates, systems you don't play are all the possible negatives. Saving some money on incomplete or unwanted games isn't worth it. If you want to be surprised, this is not how you go about it.
@@tysoncrash0I mean is it really worth getting random stuff for an extra 100$ value you’re better off picking 1000$ worth of stuff you want then 1100$ worth of random.
Wow I bet you’re fun to hangout around. This store literally lets you choose what you do and don’t want in the mystery box. Some people like to just spend some cash and see what they get. Or maybe they just like showing their support to their favorite content creator.. that they watch for FREE all the time. Just because YOU wouldn’t do it, doesn’t mean you should shame other people for doing it. It’s fun to do and fun to watch.
@@NerdNationUS i love double jump too, and they not only ones doing the Mystery Box. Everyone of them i never seen worth it from any Retro Shop. Like in this video i saw maybe 5 games that were great choice. (luigi, alundra, final fantasy, and few others) but most were games i wouldnt purchase.
I can’t speak about this specific mystery box seller… but…These types of mystery boxes have eventually ruined other collectible markets and buyer confidence as shady sellers start doing them and taking advantage of buyers. Ever see the sneaker mystery box videos?
They record all of their mystery box poles on their UA-cam channel so like when they pull $1000 mystery box especially they show it on camera because they want to make sure that if somebody does make a video that they don’t miss you or misrepresent what they got on the other hand, I would never buy $1000 mystery box because I’ll guarantee whoever you buy it from especially a huge game store that has of games that nobody would ever buy otherwise you’re definitely gonna get a lot of those in your box you might get a couple of really good expensive titles, but they’re gonna try to add a lot of filler as well so they can get rid of those games another thing that I don’t agree on is their pricing they tell you the value of the mystery box based on their sticker prices and I checked their sticker prices are above PriceCharting 90% of the time which I understand you have overhead and employees all that other good stuff but when you can buy it anywhere else eBay for cheaper, I don’t see The Point
You definitely mistyped lol. I only added a few very obscure games. The cassette is an Atari 2600 supercharger game btw

Samy Sosa Baseball also for some reason.
To answer your question about cleaning them, Double Jump uses goof off for the most part.
DoubleJump does such a good job.
Mystery boxes are fun but you could get a nice grail for 1k
Wish you took the time to give us some close up views of what you got. You were racing through everything and barely flipped your pulls toward the camera so we could see them..
I'll take that into account in the future. I did say everything we got
I love SicCooper and DJVGs. Can’t go wrong with them.
Love Double Jump! You can tell the guys that work there love what they do and want to make the customers happy (Except evil Ryan). Can't wait till they move into their new store. It's sounding epic!
I saw double jump video once. Abby said she wanted an engagement ring but Cooper wouldn't buy her one. Did she ever get one?
How is that important lol
Man I can't even get myself to spend $35 on VGM and here you are spending $1000. LOL Kudos to you bro for taking the risk. Good video.
I have bought 3 mystery boxes from them and was never disappointed.
Apokalips is the planet that Darkseid rules over.
I will say; The Old "You Dont Know Jack" games are still very fun to play! Great video bud!
I'm the same with those old ass systems. The oldest I go back is the NES. I don't care about anything older than that.
DJVG are the best, one of the best in the business hands down.
Interesting to watch. I wouldn’t be able to do a mystery box because my collection is to large I would get way to many doubles.
Should only keep GameCube and original Game Boy games.
If you find out what they use to clean their stuff please let me know too😂

Love going into double jump. They're getting a bigger place in a couple of months.
Love double jump video games! They banned me though because I was very concerned about their diets 😢

DoubleJump 👍
Im a random seller and i would give buyers a chance at getting a big like 2k game as a chase in the 1k mystery boxes

Not much into surprises. Maybe if I was rich and bored.
That was fun to watch. Glad you got some stuff!

I enjoyed the mystery box
In general yes but in this case this statement is false due to how this store does mystery boxes
@@tysoncrash0I mean is it really worth getting random stuff for an extra 100$ value you’re better off picking 1000$ worth of stuff you want then 1100$ worth of random.
I thinks he’s just going to flip all of these games and keep the stuff he wants

How do you not know Neo Geo Pocket 😑
dont know why anyone does this.... you never gonna get anything good out of mystery box.
That is absolutely not true. There were great games in here

Hey but you are speaking a little too loud in this video for the distance of your mouth to the mic no hate tho just a little constructive criticism
pretty good video.

You definitely got ripped off
The two women that run Double Jump are intolerable. Can’t believe you gave them $1,000.

Garbage in a box
What a waste of money
