This is amazing, thanks for putting this together. Really helped this still fairly new player get the most out of this event. I was a little ashamed not to figure some of this out on my own after completing the first town without it, but so far this hasn't been the funnest event mechanic I have encountered and I really just want to get some good loot out of it.
I think there might be a way to optimize celtic glassworks. By doing less tasks per town (aprox 20 per town) it will only cost around 430 to upgrade managers. This will allow for completing 10 cities, completing 200 tasks, and purchasing all 6 chests 5 or six times. The advantage is that with 10 cities instead of 6 the level 1 celtic glassworks should show up more often. When this happens you can buy 2 levels of the glassworks with 1,400 gold more frequently, since you will skip spending money on any chests on 3 or 4 of the cities where the level 1 glassworks is not one of the available options. We need someone to investigate this strategy to see if it is indeed the best way to maximize celtic glassworks.

When you open the event, in the window that pops up for FoE Helper, at the bottom it should say something like "Current run 19 / Variant 1" - the number for "current run" is the town you're currently working on, so the number you've completed would be that number, minus 1.
do you have recommended town and place to be at for rival quest or doesnt it mattet and thank you to you and moocat for all your hard work and time spent both in figuring it out and communicating this
Great Excel Sheet.. but, there is no "Hats Factory Manager" in the drop down list to check what city you're on. All the other managers are there. Just FYI. :)
I found that in Town 2, the upgrades to Managers required take me above the 710 pots of gold spent. I.e. the 710 pots is used and there's still the green task to 'Hire a Level 2 Fireworks Factory Manager for the Fireworks Factory". It doesn't sound like a big issue, but if it's result of some sort of bug, I think I should report it to you.
Is that the green task or the recommendation to level the manager? The recommendations for managers often come far before the task, and that task will autocomplete when you reach it.
@@UBERnerd14 oh so the spreadsheet assumes I have listened to a recommendation if I have done green tasks lower down the list? Because I'm at the suggested limit of gold pots without ticking any recommendations and with the green box mentioned still unticked. As though the level 2 fireworks manager isn't included in the calculation for the suggested gold pots total.
The spreadsheet assumes you have completed all items on the to-do list (except the skipped ones) in order. So when I recommend leveling your fireworks manager to level 2, it marks that you've spent the pots to level your manager to level 2. It doesn't only update that when you're completed the actual tasks, because if you want a faster run, you'd already have bought and leveled that manager.
I just ran through Town 3 and it matched up. When you say "I got," you mean that they showed up in your list of 3 tasks? Then yes, that's correct. But you *completed* the tasks in row 29 and 33.
Hey Uber, since I’ll be busy and traveling during this event, and play on my phone anyways, I won’t be able to use the spreadsheet, and if I did, it won’t be too much help. So do you have any quick tips for me? I would like to know what levels to bring the managers up too, and how much pots of gold to spend per town, and in the end of town boxes. Thanks a lot man!
The spreadsheet still works on mobile :) A lot of it just depends on what town you're on, but these should work for managers (and they're the only pots spend per town): i.imgur.com/6gCZTDe.png For boxes, it depends on how many towns you want to complete and what prizes you want to get. Generally, the more towns you do, the fewer boxes you'll be opening.
You really do need to make the spreadsheet stand alone though for the most part I can't use it because your server is always tied up it spends hours just trying to connect to your server so I can't use the spreadsheet as nice as it is... I re downloaded and try to reenter all the data again, it ends up not being worth the headache. I work with spreadsheets every day there's no reason that this can't simply be a stand-alone spreadsheet there is no reason for it to have to update to your server or any other server it should just be a download fill it in clear it out and fill it in again....
I'm really sorry, but you're the only person I've had report this issue. Don't download the spreadsheet though, just make a copy so it is stored in your drive. I don't have a server, it's Google sheets. I'm not sure what it's having an issue connecting to, as once you have the copy, you can use it offline.
Please make a copy to your Google Drive to edit it. Downloading it as an Excel file will not work. The link in the description should take you right to the screen to copy it.
Hmmm, that's odd. I'm not really sure how to fix it. When you go to bit.ly/Un14_24StPat try removing the "/copy" at the end of the link. That should let you view the main spreadsheet, where you can go to file > make a copy. That might work?
Still nothing. But tried to search more on the topic and its basically a bug which should solve its selve by time... so yeah. But thanks for the help.@@UBERnerd14

You can get more glassworks by doing fewer tasks, but you will sacrifice the main building.

town 3 tasks are not correct. row 29 and row 33 are incorrect i got gen 25b cakes and 1b shamrocks instead of what's listed.

Quick question again, does the tutorial town count as a town when upgrading managers?
