luv this especially talking about player creativity, we had an encounter, the hallway exit was blocked by an Ogre-type npc, one pc said ok im gonna use my polymorph spell stone so i can shrink myself into a mouse and run between the legs of the beast to get behind it.....rolls to see if the spell works, yes! rolls to see if he can get between the legs of the beast without being stepped on...yes!... my players love to make shit up on the fly as to how to get around a situation or just get into it creatively :) in a couple rounds later half the party was surrounded by critters and out numbered, two of the players were on the other side of the wall in an open air temple ruin, those players came upon a giant scorpion. the one pc said ok im going to use my speak with animals spell stone, rolls, yes! convinced the giant scorpion to enter the other room and help the rest of the party by eating the attackers....:)
sometimes I watch videos analyzing "the greats" in dming breaking down what exactly they are doing in the game and this seemed to break down BLeeM and actually applying it to a realistic home game easily instead of using it to set overly high standards for yourself lol
"what the hell, go for it see what happens!"
What would that make you?
"Old."
Lol. Loved it.😂🎉
Love this.
The focus on using improv as a way to increase your players' enjoyment and engagement is great; very great video and talk!

I’d like to be DM’ed by Dan… that sounds like a euphemism - it’s not. Or is it?
