I own many name brand Boots and always find myself going back to my good old Doc Martens 🙂 Their signature plasticky feeling leather Boots have oddly grown on me. My 17 year old son felt the texture of my Doc’s and said, Dad the texture on these Boots feel freaking cool. I explained to him that it’s kind of their thing.
Dr martens sizing depends on what type/design, men/women sizing and what country they are made. Definitely recommend trying them on stores especially when choosing what type of leather and style you prefer most that you can't experience online shopping hehe
It’s up to you.. the smooth leather is easy to clean.. the crazy horse leather comes with a lot of character.. you will see any scratches or scuffs on it.. also once you clean it, it gets darker
You aren't breaking those in, you didn't even do them up properly 😒 Do them up. Properly. Dubbin them, leave over night, buff off in the morning. Do this twice before even wearing. Polish the remainder out. Then manipulate the heel, the inner tongue and bridge etc. Do them up tight. Properly. All the way up. Walk them in. 2 weeks they'll be very different boots.
This is what your Dr Martens say about you:
