By the way...had a look through this a couple of times. Am not a mountainbiker, but in Ft William for years. A LOT of respect for doing that! Incredible skill! Am a motorbiker of 30 years and that's hard enough! Fair play fellah!
I was at it at the weekend working and some of the riders I was talking to like Steve Peat and Greg Minaar both walk the track first to get a idea of how the track feels and where the challenging bits are then on practice they just go for it
Having just done this track yesterday for the first time I have massive respect for the pros ! It's frickin difficult btw, I was on a trail bike though but pretty tough and waaaayyyy more difficult than mr minnar made that look .....I'm in awe
I rode this a couple of weeks ago on a hardtail with 10+ year old components. It was pretty punishing, I crashed 5 or 6 times and when I got to the bottom I had snapped half the flange off my old Hope Suspension hub. Hired a Big Hit and went back up, as soon as I had changed the pedals for some decent ones it was a whole lot more fun. Want to go back now, but this time with a proper DH bike and body armour.
this course is bloody hardest ive ever ridden.... i blew the seals on my fox 40s here last year :-( ..... and its alot rougher than it looks on any camera :-P
Great video! Can't believe how casually he talks his way through it. Minaar is fantastic!
Wow, he makes that gnarly run look smooth as butter! Great upload, thanks.

How have his arms not fallen off halfway through from arm pump?
@Blkat74 I would've wiped out 30 seconds in, where the big rocks were on both sides of the trail.
A plant of the face would have been in order.
Wow , Class!
@DrowningInADaydream maybe their mute button wasn't working.
