4:08 Cathro is a straight G for still hitting that. That section is so crazy, it's like: "hey here's some steep, twisty, old school, muddy stuff, and oh now heres a freaking road gap out of nowhere!"
Those boys can really shuffle a bike along! Loving it that this is their 'cruising pace' where they can give live commentary! Good luck for tomorrow! 👍
Great to see Ben Cathro riding his home mountains in competition again and nice to the follow of Thibault! They should name a mountain after him! They've already the 1st part ready and waiting!
The difference running these courses on modern bikes vs those from 15+ years ago. I think it allows more people to ride this terrain but the skill cap to ride it fast creates a lot of separation of talent. The only thing that worries me is the RedBull style (no offense to RedBull just a good description) is going to get to the point where the only way to win is to risk serious injury. As bigger, faster, better continues our bodies don't get any better at absorbing impacts and the crashes are going to start being career ending or worse. Some events are already flirting with that line in my estimation.
What's with the bad editing? Whenever it switches back and forth between Ben & Thibault it's really disorienting - they switch cameras for just like 1 second ..

Everything is on the line for the course preview

So impressive, being able to ride that track and narrate at the same time. Ben's got some amazing cardio.
Is Cathro not the most beloved figure on the World Cup circuit? What a great ambassador for the sport!
Yeah, if Pinkbike would just switch all content to involve Ben Cathro, that'd be great.
