@@amandag.6186 He was the one who planned this all in the first place with Themis. They are the true masterminds of the Trojan War because they wanted to depopulate the humans and demigods on earth by marrying Thetis to a mortal and have Zeus sire a beautiful daughter i.e. Helen.

Thank you, this is amazing! As I've said before, this war was the fault of Eris, whom the gods had the reason not to invite. Her apple of discord, caused all the trouble. She is one evil deity who sows seeds of discord and disagreements, creating bloody wars for Ares to enjoy. I hate Eris.
She was the definition of petty
If you ask me, Eris was just a convincing alibi to the root cause of the Trojan War because she's the goddess of strife and is uninvited to the wedding of Peleus and Thetis.
The true mastermind however for all this mess is Zeus. He literally planned this to happen to depopulate humans on earth, and it started by him assaulting Nemesis and/or Leda and create a beautiful daughter named Helen.
This is without a doubt the best series/saga I have ever seen! Loved it ❤

Troy is indeed a real place but the story that gave it popularity is a legend.
Stories became legends, legends became myths. Still history, GREEK history.
There's a lot of archeological evidence to corroborate a war around that time and names from the Iliad and kingdoms are corroborated in linear B literature.
We need the complete saga of the bravest and the intresting character of em all - DIOMEDES, the hero of 2 great wars

Excellent work. The best I have ever seen about the Trojan War. I have read the Iliad and Odyssey about 20 times and this is the most accurate representation of the epic story. Congratulations. Hope you go on with the return of the Greek heroes and Odyssey.

I have a theory of why the Greek God's abandoned the Greeks after the Trojan War. Since they saw how ruthless they are during the sack of Troy desecrating their statues and offering, they were disgusted. So they all come to an agreement to provide Aeneas and the remaining Trojan survivors a new home which eventually became Rome In the mythology and the Greek God's converted themselves Into Roman God's.
Greek history continued for a long time after the Trojan war before Rome was even a thing

When i was in High School we're studying the Trojan War and the Odyssey. The teacher assigned everyone as God's and Goddess with costumes. So i was amazed i wasn't a God but the only mortal Odysseus. Because of my knowledge and cleverness and the way i talk to others. Including my last name witch is King. My teacher explained Despite everyone else being God's and Goddesses or demigods there has to be 1 Human that can fill in that role so i found pride in these stories ever since

This story departs from the Greek Myth. Menelaus did not die at Troy and ruled with Helen in Sparta. Menelaus and Helen were visited by Odysseus's son Telemarchus together information about his father.

I love the art but why is everyone so white, except the Ethiopians of course? The Greeks would have a Mediterranean colouring and Troy was literally in Turkey - seems like a strange choice to depict all of the main characters as northern Europeans with pink skin.
Please read the illaid, it clearly describes the looks of Achilles. The Turks haven't taken over Anatolia during this time, so they are more culturally related to Greeks
All characters in Greek myths, unless otherwise indicated, are Greek. Greeks are Mediterranean and Mediterranean peoples are white. In addition to the fact that the Turks are not black, the Turks invaded Asia Minor millennia after the events narrated: the Trojans are Greeks of Greek culture, as was Asia Minor at the time. If white skin really offends you, it bothers you so much that you absolutely cannot tolerate it, you will certainly find some Netflix series that will horribly distort these priceless cultural treasures to meet the needs of people like you, coloring them in a pleasant and reassuring black some random character. Generally, I recommend looking for representations of sub-Saharan cultural works to steer clear of all this annoying whiteness.
Ah, I forgot ... actually there are some errors in the color of someone's skin: Memnon for example was the son of the Trojan Tithonus and the Greek goddess Eos, it makes no sense to depict him black since he was a Greek demigod. Sorry if I say it only now but I had to review it, generally when I look at a work like this my first thought is not the skin color of the characters...

@@ekhlas7798 The only media where Hector kills Ajax is the 2004 Troy movie. In the myth they fought at Hector's challenge for an entire day until they called it a draw and even exchanged gifts afterwards in respect for each other's battle skill. Later Ajax wounded Hector by throwing a big rock at him. And in their last confrontation Hector managed to disarm him and Ajax withdrew from the battle.
