Surprisingly, I quite enjoy the music. However, I'm not sure what the point of the repetitive chant lyrics was. It's not like it was necessary to get everyone to focus on the bassist. They were there. Kudos to the cameraperson for pretending to care about the rest of the band.

Took notice of this band after hearing their song C-Side with Leon Bridges and especially loved the sound of the bass. So I looked up some video's of the band (Pitchfork live first) and then noticed the bassist is the sexiest thing alive on planet earth. My God, I couldn't stop watching her sway playing that bigbass, mesmerizing!! Then I watched some interviews and the whole band (including Laura) is incredibly down to earth. She is the coolest chick ever! Obviously now I am in love... LOL!!!

I was there! Before the show I was thinking, "This is music I sip whiskey to in the evening; how are they going to dominate a big outdoor stage?" But they did! (I was layered up and still freezing my ass off, though. Not sure how Laura Lee does it!)
