Good evening Graham . Great review . Indian based cuisine always good in my book 😉👍🏻 Those spices sounded absolutely perfect . I’d probably add some vindaloo powder r but that’s only my personal choice .great value for 0.89 p wow . And again , perfect for winter meals Keep em coming 💪🏻
Good Morning WoodyWood , thank you for the comment - this was a really excellent curry sauce and worked perfectly with the eggs - for me it merited more than a 1 chilli rating - Farmfoods had several other curry sauces from this range all at £0.89p - excellent value and such a wonderful taste - as you say great for these winter days and nights ! have a great Thursday my friend :-)
Good Morning Karlos, thank you for the comment - I have to say that this was a Wow product from me ! so full of flavour and certainly more than the one chilli rating it had ! take it easy and have a Great Thursday Bro :-)
Hi Graham, that's a great review. That curry sauce with eggs, rice and Indian bread would be 2 lunches or dinners for me,fantastic value. I will definitely be popping into Farmfoods for this. Cheers bro👍
Good Morning Robert, thank you for the comment - This was an amazing product in Quality , Price and taste - I was hotter than a 1 chilli rating in my opinion it truly was a Wow from me and I too will be back at farmfoods for more ! take it easy and have a great Thursday Bro :-)
I’ve tried a few sauces from Kohinoor and they have all been good. Not keen on egg in a curry but I would imagine that the sauce would be nice with chicken or fish? They also have different dal varieties in the same pouches and they are really good.
Good Morning kevowski, thank you for the comment - I had never tried Egg curry before but for me this one worked very well and as you rightly say the sauce would be great with Chicken or Fish - I have had a few of the Kohinoor sauces before and they have always been good ! this one at £0.89p from farmfoods was excellent and of course much cheaper than the sauces from major supermarkets - Have a great Thursday :-)
That one definitely deserves a trip to farmfoods Graham I have had a few curries in restaurants that have had a hard boiled egg in and they were amazing. And papparoni has made a few cooking videos and added an egg hard boiled to it and even cracked a raw egg into the curry, as he has said growing up in Birmingham he tried a lot of curries. And I don't know if your wife has ever made you a great Italian hangover breakfast called eggs in purgatory that is amazing I copied a recipe from Adam Garratt and it certainly brought my mouth back to life, no more tongue like Ghandi's flip flop 👍👍🥘🥘🥚🥚
Good Morning Robert , thank you for the comment - I can honestly say that this sauce is a Wow - wonderful flavours and certainly more than a 1 chilli rating - it is packed with flavours that explode on your tongue - Superb ! and at such a great price ! my wife has not made me an Italian hangover breakfast but then again although wine was served with every meal I have never seen one of the family drunk with the exception of my wife ! she and I had a Jack Daniels drinking contest and she was under the table first ! lol - she was totally rat arsed but it was funny to watch ! lol The good old Ghandi's flip flop is a a taste that many of us can remember ! Happy Days lol - I have not had an egg curry before but this was sensational ! have a great Wednesday my Friend :-)
@@grahamjenkinson3487🎉 You should try eggs in purgatory Graham it is a lovely dish that can be had any time it's just a spicy, tomatoe and onion sauce with herbs and black pepper, cooked in a large oven dish create a few craters and add an egg to each crater and cook in the oven, or hob and serve with nice crusty bread 👍👍
Mmmmm.....the colour of that sauce looks beautiful! I've never heard of egg curry but if i'm making my own i always add an egg to it. I suppose you could add what you like to it? Please don't tell me it'd be too hot for me 😫🥚
Good Morning Kate, thank you for the comment - I had heard of Egg curry but had never had one and this was a massive Wow from me - in honesty this is well worth trying ! it does have heat but not silly hot like many others are ! I would love to know your thoughts on it if you try it ! Wishing You a Lovely Thursday :-)
Hi Graham great quality sauces along with the indi ones from Home Bargains - Egg Curry is fab - I love the Egg when you have Byriani when eating out Cheers Paul
Good Morning Paul, thank you for the comment - this was a massive Wow from me - Great price, great quality and taste - I must look for the Indi sauces - The Egg worked so well with it ! I had never tried an Egg curry before and this has made me want to try more ! have a great Thursday my Friend :-)
I somehow just don't fancy the idea of egg curry however all is not lost I don't see why it shouldn't work with one of those Mattessons pork sausages cut up into slices or frankfurters even. I will look for it next time in Farmfoods but as I said before you just don't find the same items in all Farmfoods stores and the Farmfoods near me is a big store that was purpose built a few years back.
Good Morning MansfieldLad, thank you for the comment - oddly enough I did not fancy an egg curry either but this was a massive Wow from me - I loved it - there is no reason at all it should not work with other things like sausage etc - If you can fond them in your farmfoods there are quite a few different sauces from this range all at £0.89p ! you really cant go wrong with them ! have a great Thursday :-)
