Good morning x it's a filthy day, weather wise here. Hope it's better up in the North. That curry looked awesome.well done Graham. That rice was nice, too. Have a lovely Saturday x vely
Good Morning MissMaryHDream, thank you for the comment - it is just cold here in the North no rain or wind yet - The Curry was very good and the meat was very tender - there just was not enough for the cost in my opinion ! Wishing You a Lovely Saturday :-)
Good Morning Andrea, thank you for the comment - it is good to see you back on here ! I agree the Welsh curries are amazing and hopefully one day soon I will be there again ! take it easy and have a Lovely Sunday :-) XX
Great review Graham as always but I am surprised that you only gave it 6 out of 10 I have had this one many times and personally think it is one of the best ready meals out there. But I only buy it in the deal as yes £3:99 is a bit expensive for a frozen ready meal ,but you have to consider that it is beef and not chicken which is the norm especially with Aldi. It would be nice if different meats were used in these type of curries like pork or lamb not just chicken, and not so long ago it was £2:99 or 3 for £8 talk about inflation PS just rewatched papparoni's review of this from about 2 years ago and he gave it 9 and a half out of 10 but it was only £2:99 at that time So maybe your score is right in today's stupid high inflation food price's??? 👍👍🥘🥘🌶🌶
Good Morning Robert, thank you for the comment - my score was really for the price and amount of curry sauce and meat there was in it - the curry itself was enjoyable but I found it to be hotter than a Madras and the heat took away the flavour - I will be trying the others in the range at some point - Farmfoods are still cheaper than Iceland and in my opinion are better quality - I have some shocking meals from Iceland - Good old Papps he does like his Chilli heat products I used to but can not handle some of them these days - lets hope Papps is up and about again soon following his treatment - have a great Saturday my friend :-)
Hi Graham, hope your ok, that looked really nice, you can’t beat a good Madras,I wouldn’t mind paying that price, still much cheaper than a takeaway, be safe in the storm mate, have a great weekend, Mark
Good Morning Mzrk, thank you for the comment - I am good thank you and I hope all is well with you ! this was a decent meal but I thought it was a bit sparse - Madras is my favourite as well ! we are still waiting for the storm in the shire have a great Weekend :-)
@ I’m glad your well, I am to thank you,I guess it’s ok if your looking for portion control, Madras is my favourite also along with vindaloo,I hope the weather isn’t to bad when it arrives for you, Mark
@@markclayton853 Hi Mark, thank you for the reply , The Storm is with us now and it is very wet and very windy ! we seem to be having more and more storms as the years go by ! I hope you are having a great Afternoon :-)
Had this one before Graham and I found it tasty, but a wee bit"tres cher" for my liking. Don't mind paying over the odds for a decent restaurant or takeaway curry where you can get a few digs at it over the weekend. Honest review as always bro👌
Good Morning Robert, thank you for the comment - I agree this was good but there was not enough of it for the coin you pay - Take it easy and have a great Sunday Bro :-)
Good Morning bobzz-ZZ , thank you for the comment - you are correct they are 3 for £10.00 I was confused as we have bought a few items from farmfoods recently and their offers very so much in price - I enjoyed the curry but I would have liked a bit more of the curry itself - Have a great Saturday :-)
@grahamjenkinson3487 thanks for the reply, i was just thinking you are absolutely right when you weigh it up..The rice costs them hardly anything, the sauce... again next to nothing. The price of the beef is what you're paying for, so 4 pound for a few chunks is not good value whatsoever, however nice it is, so after watching your review I won't be buying these again, it is way overpriced for the amount you get. Thanks again G, spot on!! 🌟✨
@bobzz_ZZ Hi there and thank you for the reply , the amount of rice is too much and the sauce and beef too little ! but I am glad I gave it a try ! The Bilash range of curries at £2.49p are much better value and they for me are a close second to the more expensive Bom Bahai curries - I hope your afternoon is going well :-)
Yeah too dear for me, it'd have to be spot on and a generous portion to warrant 4 quid. I had a takeaway curry last night with a keema naan and it cost £12 but it was gorgeous. Prices nowadays for everything are scandalous.
Good Morning Karlos, thank you for the comment - for the price there was simply not enough Beef and Curry sauce - a lot cheaper than a takeaway but still not enough ! you are quite right prices today are through the roof and when you pay you expect something special ! Have a great Sunday Bro :-)
Good morning Graham, that looks nice but i think madras would be too hot for me & i've never really liked supermarket curry as much as the real thing ☺️👍
This one would definitely be too hot for you Kate but as supermarket curries go especially for a frozen one it is very nice, but has risen in price. The special curries that Aldi did on the chilled section that Graham reviewed would totally blow this one away and they did have some mild ones in the range which would have been perfect for you, but they only did chicken and as with everything else in Aldi are only available for a short time. It would be amazing if you could get a pork or lamb chilled curry but they are about as rare as the pot of gold in Finian's Rainbow 🌈 👍👍🥘🥘
Good Morning Kate, thank you for the comment , The curry was decent enough but for me it was too expensive for the amount - This onw would be too hot for you I found it hotter than a Madras but then again my Chilli Tolerance is not what it used to be - Supermarket curries vary so much the best ones I have had have been Bom Bahai curries from Asda and The Bilash Curries from Aldi - Wishing You a Lovely Saturday :-)
I have had that before yes it's very good I just don't like the price they were much better when they used to be 2 for £5. How about a review of the Sainsbury's Stamford Street lasagne there only 85p don't be put off by the price they are very good but I put them in the microwave for 5 minutes then 30 minutes in the oven that way you get a nice brown top as it should be.
Good Morning MansfieldLad, thank you for the comment - for me the price was too high for the amount of food - Sainsburys is a place do not go to very often but I will have a look for the Lasagne when I am in there - I do like a Lasagne ! have a great Saturday :-)
Good Morning Paul, thank you for the comment - this was silly hot in my opinion and there was not enough for the coin involved ! have a great Wednesday my Friend :-)

These are 3 for ten quid, G. Personally love these curries, as you said, they are a bit expensive but they are top quality. Thanks.
