I was driving the 10 freeway to San Bernardino in Cali when I heard this song, and it changed me. The bass guitar is unique. Very underrated bass guitar player.

I'll put Stay in Dublin 1993 as the best and most inspired performance, but your pick in Boston is very good. You can't go wrong putting this tremendous and overlooked song up in any form or performance. Thanks for posting it up and the feedback.
@HomemaidIndie respectfully, 2001 Boston isn’t even on the same planet as Joshua Tree and ZooTV tours. Not saying 2001 Boston wasn’t good. It works. But the two tours I mentioned our all-time great tours regardless of band. After Bono’s voice got fried during PopMart, the shows were never the same again. That’s why he struggles so much with the vocals during that show in Boston. But the silver lining of that dynamic with his voice is the arrangement they invented to play The Fly on Elevation Tour would not exist without those voice issues. They cut the falsettos and transposed the chorus. And in my opinion, it’s the best version of that song ever recorded. Just a masterpiece. Top 10 all-time moment for the boys.
I disagree, i think he still had that power in 2001 completely in tact and the voice like i said was all the way matured, and with his fighting spirit (also still there) that combination is just not reached before or after. For my taste that is.@@alexandriaocasio-smollett5078

I think the best version of "Stay" was in Boston in 2001... IMHO

That was the best u2 concert by miles as a whole imo, and i know practically all of them. Once in a lifetime peak performance.
