Funny how his partner looks a bit like Glen Buxton. Also, golf is a great sport if you are anxious. I can see what Alice means. I thought it was a dumb game until I took it as a P.E. class. Then got out there and since you are so focused you forget all your problems. And if you love being outside like I do then it's a win win. If only I took it up when I was a kid first.
I love Alice, but people like myself that have a drinking problem don't have the money to take up a sport like golf, let alone pay for help from golf pros. I realize I have other choices than to keep drinking, I just wanted to make the point that it's easier to give up the booze when you have lots of money to take your mind off of the booze. I can afford 20 bucks for a case of beer. Tell me where to buy golf clubs and play a round of golf for 20 bucks and I'll be there.
if you drink a case of beer everyday for a year 20x365=7200 dollars now with that money you could buy a top of the line set of clubs and pay for a membership to a decent course for 5000-6000 dollars so if you look at it over long term golf is cheaper and more fun i believe
Almost every town in the country. $500 would buy you a decent set of brand new clubs and $1000-$2000 would get you a yearly membership at most municipal courses. That's $4-5 day. And you don't need help fro pros. Just figure it out on your own or learn from the people you play with.
