- Start to apply data directly to objects in your Rhino model by harnessing User Text Attributes. In this week's quick tip I reveal where to find it and what it is but stay tuned for future videos as we explore how to start applying this as a great way to navigate your model. This is the beginnings of how to "BIMify" Rhino that becomes the bedrock for many workflows we will be developing in Grasshopper.

What is your favorite way to make Rhino behave more like a BIM model?
Nice one! I also use visualARQ for the openBIM purpose!
You are completely right! To get data to scale in Rhino you'll need a data management mechanism which is why in future lessons this will make sense as we start to embed data through GH workflows. But yes if you want to avoid Revit and avoid GH workflows staying 100% in Rhino, visualARQ is a great plugin to consider!
@@7fold_design I like to feed attributes by using GH ..especially using the Elefront plugins..after all, I usually export Rhino elements to IFC model to coordinate with the other disciplines. It works very well with visualARQ GH components also to modify the attributes.
@@spot.youtube For sure! This video is super basic and focused on raising awareness. Future videos we'll be looking at Elefront inside GH a lot and different ways to embed data. Appreciate your comments!
