I love September fishing because I scale down in size and also through most these smaller baits on spinning gear. Shakey heads basically eighth oz. and zoom finesse worm mostly some color of green pumpkin and watermelon. The kvd 1.0 on spinning rod and the zoom ultravibe speed craw. Towards the end of September start going back to the standard size square bill but still using spinning rod with the same finesse baits. Jacob you are an awesome fisherman. Thanks for this video. Gives me other options and something else to spend my wife's hard earned money on. Can't take it with you.
Great video Jacob, thanks for sharing your tips! Good luck on St. Clair. Good of you to give a shout out to all those effected by Ida, very difficult time for these people and our heart’s go out to them!
Go get that AOY!!! I've been saying it for a few years now your gonna go down as the G.O.A.T. Every time I think you've have peak you find a whole level to take the game too!! Good luck champ!
Morning dawn is gonna be a player at St Clair along with Smelt. I use those colors here. Its fun when they are biting the fluorescent orange Ned's too. Smallmouth love those colors normally you would not think to use in 40ft visibility water.
This year I have had probably my best August of fishing ever. Like you said, heartbroken over the people who have been affected by Ida. But when its leftovers blew through my area, it basically jumped everything forward a week or two, assuming we don't get a big heat wave. Should be a good September.
Jacob love videos and I use them. Can I make a suggestion after you talk about baits and fishing how about throwing us blue collar people other hints. LIKE. affordable stuff glasses, rain gear, cold weather gear. Towing. Tips, trailer tips what to do or be careful of anything to help us have a successful day on the water from home to the lake and best home.
Jacob, next time you are in FL please do an episode where you guys have a little friendly tournament on that pond y’all caught them biggs on that Tuesday nighter. It was really cool having y’all out on our home pond. You know the one
Jacob, thank you for the bait selections for this time of year. I'm in the process of getting my boat going but will try these baits from the shore. Best of luck at saint Clair. DC I will try the jerk bait.🎣🐟
I'll be out on the Chic the 10th thru the 14th (got to be home on the 15th) trying these baits and watching MLF live on my HDS live pulling for you and the guys. Really thinking the Jersey boy is going to do good, I am feeling like its his time to be the one putting pressure on you. Good luck to all of you!
Have always wondered if the rods that these pros put there name on and sell for 100-150 $ the exact same as the ones in there hands? I know they look tha same but are they actually made tha same? I mean I don't care either way it's just something I've always thought about figured I would say!
Seems like I have slayed the largemouth through July and August. Its Sept 2nd and I went out this evening and didnt even get a bite lol. Fish are smarter than me haha. Gotta switch ammo up for em.
Jacob, i already made a comment but have a question. Have you done a video on fishing frog's? I have years of fishing but not with a frog. Best of luck at Saint Clair. 🎣🎣
My wife and I are going to fish lake eufalua on the 23rd we are new to fishing we are staying closer to the south end of the lake any tips thanks for all you do
Was surprised to see unpackaged neds just sitting in the box! I thought that was a big no-no because they react with the plastic box and ruins the neds?
I zeroed in another Wednesday nighter what’s ur advice of catching a single fish both of my buddies caught over 9lb 3 bag and I couldn’t get a dink to bite.
Oh Jacob please go out there and kill it in stage 7. Good luck to and I'll be rooting for you to bring home that win and the AOY. I'll be watching the entire event on MLF LIVE.
Worst year I ever had in 35 years of bass fishing !!!every lake in the northeast ! Either the water has been like chocolate milk !! Or they are spraying lakes becouse of invasive weeds including cayuga the weeds are nowhere near what and where they used to be !!chemicals and the weather are killing our fisheries !!

Never seen this “fall frenzy” I’ve always heard about. October and late September are the hardest months to catch bass, IMO.

Great advice man. Glad I subscribed. By the way your series of Duckett rods are killing it. I own a few and am planing to purchase more soon.

Great advice will give these baits a try thanks JW
Great video Jacob keep up the great work and thanks for the info.
love the skitterpop, very underrated topwater. clown was always my favorite but I think it’s discontinued
Jacob, i already made a comment but have a question. Have you done a video on fishing frog's? I have years of fishing but not with a frog. Best of luck at Saint Clair. 🎣🎣
What are your thoughts on a frog in muddy water around grass....rains have blown out the areas I fish. I was thinking about a black frog.
Jacob can you do a video on Copolymer and Fluorocabon same dia. Which is better on knots strenght and abrasion refactive and reactive. Thank you.
My wife and I are going to fish lake eufalua on the 23rd we are new to fishing we are staying closer to the south end of the lake any tips thanks for all you do

I don’t think that those were Z man baits. The Z man elastic will react with the plastic.
Googan rattling ned rigs won't melt other soft plastics. They're tremendous besides the glass rattle, it doesn't last long.
Would you recommend an OG slim for florida
Another great video
Thanks JW great help!!
Where do your Accent Buzzbaits come in at and how would you rig it?
You are the man thank you and big blowups
Already low 70s in MN.
Love the vids sooo much
IOWA sucks for fishing but September an October is when it gets 👍 thanks for your info ita greatly appreciated

Don’t you think it depends on what part of the country you live in.
Absolutely
August was the worst month so far for me the bite has been so bad
Does anyone else say rapala like that? Lol didn’t think so.
Its not spoken as Rapalla...

Some top anglers should come together and make their own tournament trail, mlf and Bass are holding the sport back.
That's about the dumbest thing anyone could post here. These guys are fishermen, not a bunch of office types in this gang.
@@johnemrey9877 Did he say holding the sport back? What planet did he come from.
