I have this stuff. There's a trick with it I find. First of all, the "white" shade they have looks better than the "grey" shade. Oddly, the white on my dark hair looks more grey, whereas the real grey looks too bluish on me. Secondly, I find if you have damp hair and rub the paste with a bit of water on your hands together, it goes on a bit more smoothly. Let it then air dry or blow dry it. Then you just add a bit more as needed. World of difference.
I'll have to give that a try, typically (with the texture of my hair) if I ever apply product to it when it's still wet I can NEVER get it styled the way I want :|

Hi! I know its a bit late to say now but the reason you work it into your palm is to warm and melt the wax. This will make it not flakey and apply smooth. The thin layer on your hand also makes it apply less patchy so you wont have a high pigmented area and a low pigmented area. Try it again but work it into your hands next time. :)
Duuuude rub it throughout your hands until your whole hand is gray. When you apply normal hair wax you are suppose to rub it in your hands until you can barely see it on your hands anymore then lightly rub it throughout all your hair so it is evenly distributed through it all. Or else your hair will have wax clumps everywhere. (Coming from a barber/stylist by the way)

I put it in then I used my blow dryer and it actually looked like silver streaks.
I've got the blue and silver, the blue works amazingly. The silver doesn't show up quite as well, although I guess more goop would give more colour. As a styling wax, it's great!

I've ordered the red one and am pretty curious. Guess I'll need some practice first too. I have red dyed hair but my own color is growing out and I don't want to dye it anymore but I don't like the look of it growing out. So while my natural color is returning I hope this wax will keep it a "secret" until all the dye has gone away (luckily for my short hair that will be only a couple of months and a few haircuts in between) so I can suddenly surprise the world with my natural hair color in the future and before that still look good with the colored wax.
I have it in blue and purple I like it to streak my highlights.
The silver has worked great on my short naturally grey hair to give the color more depth & visual interest. The silver among the gray brightens your complexion, imo. I can't see using this product to completely change the color of the hair, only to augment the color already there-although you could use it to coat strands in a contrasting color. I use it like a pomade, working it through clean & dried hair with my fingertips. My roots ARE gray, so I actually don't try to work it deeply into the roots-it serves more as a highlight. Also, my jar of product doesn't feel overly waxy-it feels heavier than gel, but I find that working in small amounts, it is pliable, and hasn't left a greasy film or flaked when dry. I agree that the instructions are absolutely useless, & I think it's just possible that there's no right or wrong approach. I recommend experimenting in small amounts starting about a half inch from the scalp.

I actually used that exact stuff today, my hair is brown and I'm considering going grey, so I thought "hey, let's try out this stuff to get an idea of the colour!". My hair became rigid as a brick, so many hairs were pulled out while styling. If it weren't such a superglue hold, it would be alright, but man you're right about the flakiness.
I'm glad I'm not the only one! It has so much potential, you just need too much in order for the color to show up :|

1. Use vaseline/petroleum jelly to protect your ears and face and all that
2. Use Gloves to protect your hands from all that dye (I do it cuz I find it’s easier)
3. Apply it. Evenly. Spread it around and put A LOT of it on.
4. Wait for a good while for it to dry
5. Brush it out so it’s not clumpy. And so it looks smooth.
You should use a comb to apply it evenly.

I got the same thing but in purple and I have long hair it was a huge mistake it all flaked off and it took me hours to brush it out it turned everything but my hair purple
Try blowing it out after. Worked for me. Still have to use a LOT!

I watched another review and apparently you can get it off your hands with make up wipes which means oil will work. And she brushed it through as well. She had long hair too but she said she used it before.
Yeah, I'm able to get it off my skin, the problem is that if you want it to look natural the grey needs to come from the root - when you try to wipe the product off of your scalp it also takes the product out of my hair. So it's either grey-ish hair & scalp, or clean scalp and grey tips. Hahah.
Haha I recently just bought this and you do have to use a lot of product to get it to where you want it to be. I have jet black hair and I bought the white one (not silver) and I find that with enough playing around I can get it to the ghouly color that I want. This stuff is pretty cool. Saved me $100+ if I were to dye it
How long did it last for? I'm interested in trying it out I just bought some off of eBay because I wanna perm my hair white but bought this stuff as a temp just to see if I liked the color before blowing $200 on a perm.
I was told by the seller it would last for a few days but there are some sources I've read a couple of weeks. I just wanna use the temp stuff one time and then go to the salon if I wanna get it perm
Sorry for the late reply - but this stuff only lasts until you shower! It's basically just a hair pomade with a silver tint :)
Dude. Use a brush and a blow dryer. And to get it off your skin, you should have used water. Since it's water-soluble?
Since this video I've tried that (and quite a few other tricks). The brush & blow dryer just seem to make the pigmentation of the product disappear - at that point it just becomes a hair paste :|

Maybe next time try working it on damp hair instead of dry hair doing it in sections starting from the enter out and finishing with the fringe

How long does it last?
Thing is though, for me as a girl with medium-short knotty hair, if I brush it, the colour comes out!! And I don't want to use the whole thing just for one day.. it's really annoying meee 😫

and yeah u did all wrong. get some lotion covering your skin at your forehead, ears. . . using both hands get the wax on your hair just exactly u r washing your hair in shower room, comb by fingers . . there it is

It is a good one of a kind product for learning how to get your natural hair color back without the normal expense. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my mate at very last got astronomical success with it.

It is a great one off product for learning how to get your natural hair color back minus the hard work. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my GF got astronomical results with it.

I've went for Purple, and Orange. I have a big ginger beard, so it'll be interesting to see how it turns out. Really sceptical on this product. Did it come out ok? Didn't stain your scalp, or leave any colour in your hair?
Nope! It didn't stain my scalp nor did it leave any color in my hair. After reading some of the comments I've gathered that the white will make your hair look more silver, the silver just makes your hair ashy-er. It'll be interesting to see how the purple and orange turn out - let me know!

It's a good hair product for styling, I just don't think it works very well to make your hair grey!

I'm so glad I got this at Amazon. I looked up this video because the instructions made no sense. I didn't know if net hair meant wet hair. I might returning before I even try it since you said it's flaky
A lot of people seem to like it, so maybe it'll work for you?! My biggest problem with it is the fact that you have to put in SO much product to get any sort of real "silver" color, and the more product you put in the flakier/more stiff & gross your hair gets :| Let me know if it ends up working for you!
