I'd never bother, if the tip of the 2nd or 3rd dart strikes the flight, I think it would hang up and cause more bounce-outs.
You give them a smaller surface area, they'll be less stable. You have a pretty solid throw (and pretty level) so it doesn't affect you too much. Give those to Keegan Brown and they wouldn't stick because the angle would be too steep.
Imagine turning up at the local league with them flights. Would definitely get in the opponent's head. Lol
So I spotted you were using the Falcon flights. Have you tried the Falcon darts yet, and if you have, what’s your opinion on them? And what’s your opinion about Darts Clearance’s darts as a whole?

Interesting concept, Target will release them next month :P
In theory it should reduce surface area so act more like a slim flight and give a Taylor like angle on impact, but seems real life doesn't care for this theory.
How about asymmetric flights? Cut off a piece of 2 out of 4 wings to make them slim in one direction, and keep the other 2 wingparts standard.

Cut a 3 sided rectangle into each section and fold the piece out into the airflow to act like an air brake/spoiler on an aircraft.
I think they were flying faster bc there wasn’t as much lag from the release to it showing up on the board cam
Have you tried putting the flights in backwards? I’ve tried it a couple of years ago 🎯🙂👍🏻

How about putting 2 holes opposite sides of the 4 sided flight & putting the holes one on the bottom like a 1/4 inch up from the shaft & the other perhaps a 3/8 from the top down.
I think from what you said the dart flight was right to left. Thinking to many holes and it thrown the flight trajectory off.

I would be curious to see how a dart flies if instead of a solid shaft you somehow attached a flight to a small piece of string and attached that to the barrel.

Cut off one of the fins of your flight!!
You should use the slimmest flights possible. Then keep on cutting them down to see how small you can get them, whilst still able to throw them.
much less chance of sliding past the flight with the following dart with all those edges to catch on....

What about instead of flights you try and attach a weighted ball on the end of the stem and see if they can be easily stacked like Taylor did with slim flights only you would use the weighted ball type object

I tried points with with a rib grip cut into the base, after a few throws I removed them. Dartboard makers must love them!
Should try to do a video about the best flights to avoid Robin Hoods (It wil take a while ;-) ) Try the Whizlock system, L-Flights, Cosmo Flights, Vice Lock caps of One80, Robson ... You will need to buy the punches too of course
L-Style flights with the metal caps and you'll never robin hood again.
@@robbiephillips2959 I've test them all, metal caps, plastic caps, ... now the Whizlock in two new colours (Blue & Red)
How about glueing flights to the front of the dart as well as having them at the back? You'd need to pull them apart so you can get a good application around the barrell, but I reckon they'd add plenty of stability!

Drill little notches into the barrel, like the harrows dimplex stems. Then use dimplex stems and flights

Could you try taking a rasp to the point of the dart near the barrel to make it gripper? Almost like a totally budget ridged point?

The drill was to signify holes, it just makes more sense than adding a hole punch which most people wouldn't understand what it was from a photo. You could use a 6mm drill bit of you want, just wouldn't get clean holes

When you throw the Darts i would love tot see how the dart flight in the air? Now you see your Darts in the bord and you throwing the darts. Bud ceep up the good work.
Waste of a good set of flights
Could do worlds shortest darts. Cut some off then drill and tap for the stem or just glue the stem on. Maybe 1 inch long barrels

Those flights wont have any thing to do with how they leave your hand. Thats just poor techniuqe. Really. An amateur and relativly low skilled player, Will never be able to determine the difference, your Way to uncinsistant in your throw.
