Would you like to see this bad boy cross the sea when the winds die down in Greece? Let me know in the comments below!
Yes Plesse
Absolutely, yes
Hell yeah
Aye, may the Seas be your's!
Are you from Greece?
Building of landing craft for operation "Overlord", 1944 colorized
😁
Loool
he's from Greece so it'll be heading to Malta and then to Sicily! XD
A MAN HAS BUILT CONCENTRATION CAMP IN LEGO CITY...
Борис, ты ли это?
I wish I had that many Lego pieces so I could build this myself
God bless BrickLink!
Yeah same!
I wish I had the time, effort and pieces lol
The lego motor's recorded by the on-board cam makes such an awesome sound! Feels like an actual warmachine!
I really like the sound of the rudder and ramp motors during the final approach!
It’s amazing the things that can be created with such a simple toy! Well done!
Thanks!
@SGKRAKEN419 ain't a toy either
@@slowpoke101_ but it is
@@Revstim everything is a toy if you're brave enough
The gross weight of that ship is around 6 lb, 1 lb heavier than my moc warship. Although mine's too full of internals to have it waterproofed. But at least you've got a surplus of parts, I used almost all of mine to build my biggest personal creation 👍
I used a lot of my parts for that boat as well. I'll have to tear it down to move on with my next project.
Are you kidding me!? This video is absolutely amazing man! So we'll put together! I appreciate the time you put in to make this!!
And thank you for taking the time to watch it and comment!
This is epic, I can't wait Till this blows up
I mean the views of course:)
Thanks! I hope so!
XD
Your wait is over my friend.
What an amazing thing to wake up to!
It is, isn't it?
So badass! What an incredible build man! Technics are the greatest invention ever.
Stay tuned! A better version of that boat is coming, with the most badass mission ever!
This is really cool they should make the boat a actual set
Watching this felt like watching "The Q" back in the day
😁
Great vid. Love the attention to detail with the tires hanging on the sides 👍🏼
Thanks! It's all in the details!
Excellent build actually and very functional. Nice :)
Thanks! 😁
wow. maybe you should make a lego bridge so that the 4x4 can drive on and off the boat whit ease.
I wasn't supposed to test it in that lake. The rocks are impossible to traverse. It's meant for beautiful, sandy beaches where the terrain is silky smooth... 😋
But the winds are pretty strong at the beach these days in Greece, so I'll have to postpone the sea trials.
@@brickandgear and im guessing that when the winds cam down you will try to test it at sea.
Yeap! I'm going to cross a small lagoon!
Awesome man, what a nice idea! Love it 👍👍❤️
Thanks!
the creativity and ingenuity of some people is so amazing to me
The neverending desire to go outside and play, leads to some pretty good builds, doesn't it?
@@brickandgear Indeed it does
Dang thats sick
Excellent absolutely amazing.
Thank you!
Im honestly proud to say that of i owned lego, you would be the first person i hired for 40$ an hour. Proud of u man keep up the hreat work!👍👍👍the build is absolute 🔥
Thanks! I hope one day you get a job at LEGO and hire me for 40$ an hour! 😁
Dang this is, well, epic!
😁
This is unbelievable. GREAT JOB👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks!
I just found this and I was in shock the whole time. I’m amazed, you just earned yourself a new subscriber!
Thanks! I really hope my future projects shock you even more! (Some of them will)
@@brickandgear You're awesome, keep it up!
Thanks!
8:30 please make a little movie with epic scenes (like that) where some troops landing on a remote rocky island meet some mad scientist and a lot of zombies. the scenery looks great! :-D
I am ditching Bluetooth controllers for proper RC for much greater precision, power and range. The boat I've currently completed will have a proper mission away from the coast! Expect the epic stuff you talk about in the next videos!
@@brickandgear haha, yesss :-) "Attack of the MegaLEGOn", "TentacLEGOs from the Deep" xD
Amazing creation man😘 you just nailed it😊
Thanks!
cool!
I’m way late to the party but now I gotta see one of these where it’s a Lego LST loaded with Lego Shermans.
It's never too late! That's a good project, but I have to film that at Normandy...
@@brickandgear It would be glorious.
Awesome stuff
Thanks!
That thing is cool as hell
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!
I love how you're replying to every comment multiple months after the video's released. I love the build, can't wait to see more!
Thanks for the support! I always try to find a little time to answer every comment.
Make this into a set please 🙏🏻
This video is amazing! I’m not sure but I think no one has ever made a boat without any boat LEGO pieces
Thanks! I honestly don't know if it's been done before, but it was very satisfying driving it on water. Especially in the sea!
Looks cool
Thanks! You should check out the video of this baby crossing the sea! Epic... 😋
This video gave me peace ❤️
😁
This should definitely be made into an actual set
I love it
Thanks!
this is beautifull
Thanks!
I love it!
😁
Good thing you wrote on that white board that was most glared out by your ring light.....
для такого гения 14 тысяч подписчиков это мало.Видосы просто огонь спасибо что вы делаете такие крутые постройки из лего и лего техник
Спасибо
its,....its,....BEAUTIFUL
Wait till you see it cross the sea. I'll have a video ready in a few days.
Ay, 0:16 nice math lesson
😋
A master I respect it
Thanks! 😁
this is amazing
Thanks!
WOW I like it
You should check out the other video featuring my landing craft! It's a sea crossing!
Awesome
😁
That's what Lego Technic is about!
Absolutely!
liked seeing the hanging tires on the side of it. I would probably use chain on steering instead of rubber bands. I do really love making and watching functional lego builds (:
A chain would look super cool, but the rubber band allows for some slippage once the rudder reaches it's extreme left/right position and protects the gears from wear and tear.
@@brickandgear there’s 24 tooth clutch gear that you can use with it. Rubber bands does the job well (: Its just an advice
Good advice is always welcome!
i love this
Then you should definitely check out my second video featuring this landing craft. A sea crossing!
Nice work man! We don’t have very many people like this up here in Utah!
You're from Utah? One of my favorite lakes is in Utah (Lake Powell). I'd like to sail one of my ships there someday...

All you need is a sandy beach!
I've got you covered : ua-cam.com/video/9zMyeVV6tyY/v-deo.html
That's the nicest weigher I've ever seen, it says hello to you
Either "Hello" or "Hell."
Depends on the weight of the build... 😁
Would You mind explaining (in short) how to construct such rudder? Thanks
I could upload a few photos of the rudder assembly in my UA-cam community tab and Instagram account before disassembling the boat. Does that help?
The fact that you could literally carry a newborn on this is just wow
Haven't thought of that. Wow!
Cool LST.
Thank you!
Epic
😁
this is very nice
😁
@Epic Lego - It would be an idea to build a water transporter like the military types. They have fantastic beasts for that.
I'd like to build a landing craft like the ones operated by the US Marine Corp, but I'll need more pieces!
@@brickandgear I would like to see it. Take your time
you loading the styrofoam block on the boat was aso satisfyig
Loading styrofoam with precision is so satisfying... 😋
I really love what you build there, but now i Wunder what are the big "Plates" called you used on the aircraft a lot?
Thanks! The panels I used to build the deck and part of the boats body are Light Bluish Gray Technic Panel Plates 5x11x1 (part number 64782). I hope that was helpful and you build a monster of a ship!
That math is some elpart Einstein
I know! Had to go through my elementary school math books to accomplish that!
Do you have a list of all the parts used?
My son wants to build something like that and I think his grannys might have a huge to do for Christmas and Birthday...
Thank you.
Hello! Give me some time, and I'll try to assemble a rough part list!
@@brickandgear thx, I think I'll wait ❤️

Yo people help get this guy to 15k sub's
Yes please... 😋
@@brickandgear ima youtuber to so I get it
it is so cool
Thanks! You can check out my second video featuring the landing craft at sea!
This guy deserves more subscribers
Thank you for your kind words and support! We'll get there some day!
No, the crawler can’t climb the rocks because LEGO thought it was a good idea to put axle differentials in this set 😐
Probably the only climbs LEGO had in mind were pillows. It did well on the volcano climb though. I was very surprised.
Well you can always mod it
I'll certainly use RC tires in the future.
nice
Thanks!
Epic pixels
😁
What an amazing vid! I never thought I'd want a LEGO technic so bad and it's not even on the shelves! Do you have instructions for it?
I'm glad you like it. No, I don't make building instructions for my MOCs. I hope I find the time in the future to release them though!
@@brickandgear, maybe TLG will come back to its senses and start buying designs from ppl like you or hiring. They have cool things, but damn, do they neglect their fans!
I think they have started doing something like that through BrickLink, where you can buy MOCs that the LEGO group doesn't sell.
@@brickandgear, yes , I've seen some, but the instructions are not always available, and the piece count is even rarer.
I like the system
😁
Someday, someone will go in space aboard a LEGO rocket.
I've thought of building a small rocket, but I can't figure out the legislation in Greece.
Good job with faceblur , really good :)) a little late and lower , but overall .. :))
For the record, I didn't try to blur my face. 😁
it's amazing it's okay well done
Thanks! 🙏
I have exactly 9818309 lego pieces
nice build! Where do you get all the parts?
Thanks! Most of my parts come from the LEGO bucket wheel excavator and BrickLink.
....Time to build a walker that this thing can carry.
Imperial?
@@brickandgear Why not?
When you don’t have linear actuators… You gotta be a man and come up with something😂 Cool vid btw
I've got linear actuators but in order to use them for the ramp, I'd have to either make the boat wider or the entrance narrower. So... good old fashioned string...
Where can I find props like those?? My current favorite is the 80's era 5" prop.
You can find them in stores that sell parts for RC boats.
Will I need to modify them?
Yeap! You can check out my tutorial here : ua-cam.com/video/JXzh06oG57w/v-deo.html
your intelligence is incomprehensible
And next time : a fully Armed battleship with working canons
😁
@@brickandgear eeeehhhhhhhhhh?!
I have plans for a battleship in the future!
Echt cool
Heel erg bedankt!
WOW
I want to make something later like thath
Now you need to build a tractor and trailer that can haul and launch the watercraft
That's sick! A huge truck to carry the landing craft that carries the crawler! I'll need big tires though...
(And then a huge ship that carries the truck, that carries the landing craft, that carries the crawler... )
@@brickandgear the trailer can have smaller wheels along the length with those yellow suspension pieces, it would need it, as for the truck, I can't send pictures but I have bigger wheels from a Jeep I made, plus I'm sure you could get some custom made, I'm sure someone somewhere will do it
Next video be like building a working battleship
A working battleship is definite one of my future projects!
The person you blurred can see edit the video or you can see it, right?
They've got a kid with them, so I blurred the footage to protect their privacy.
@@brickandgear I understood
Woaou
😁
It's good but it's not all made of Lego
Hey you should make a movable tank to go with that
I did build a small tracked vehicle for it, but carrying the 41999 crawler seemed more impressive since it's a much heavier vehicle.
What if you made some more color into it like stripes
I went for structural integrity, hence the simple colour theme.
but what did you use for floatation?
I placed styrofoam blocks in the hull.
Лего и математика, что-ж весьма интересный видос, удачи автору.
Wait does that mean it can just straight up carry anything on there?
Anything up to 2kg with a reasonable center of gravity.
every body chill until this guy brings out a Lego car carrier
😁
I do love it though.
Say, you could make a Lego WW2 ship, that floats, but has a scuttle button that opens "gashes" in the side of the hull, and sinks it. Extra points for making it controllable and working guns.
I'd like to build a battleship with working guns.
What's stopping you! 😁
это очень крутая постройка!
Спасибо!
Wow wow that’s impressive hey do you think you can build a robot with tank feet and a body with guns you know like a world war machine
That could be a future project.
The lack of Hedgehogs and heavy machine gun emplacements on the beach is SORELY affecting my immersion here.
You just gave me an idea for a future video...
Could You do à list of material and a tuto to do thé sa me boat ?
I'll try, but my time is very limited. I've got a job and family, so my time for this channel is quite limited.
@@brickandgear I understand it was just knowing if it was possible but you are right if you have a job and especially the family above all
