(095) Using The Master Pick EPG (Picking A UAP 1 Star Euro Cylinder)

Most locksmiths will use the EPG (Electric Pick Gun) on euro cylinders as its the easiest and fastest way to open a euro cylinder. The Master Pick EPG is fairly new on the market and is more powerful than the Klom and Dino. UAP and Tradelocks are basically the same company who now own Fullex Locks and are a fairly common lock on UK doors.

Thanks for watching Jack how have you found the Kronos ? when they first came out model 1 they had problems with the charging as the battery was inside the EPG, so they made it so charging the battery was outside. Then they had problems with the button to make it work. Ive known a few locksmiths who have had problems with it and also a distributor who no longer stocks it because of customer service problems with multipick. Ive seen reviews of how good it is but because of the initial problems I stayed with my Klom and Dino my wife bought me the master epg.

@@DerekMercerlocksmith Good demonstration and looks like a decent EPG. I only know of UK Bumpkeys who stocks the Kronos because I bought mine from them and they still have it in their stock.

Pick gun sounds relatively quiet.
Does the bump keys not hit pins stopping you inserting deep into the lock?

Thanks for watching Roy I have amongst others 3 universal bump keys cut on a Yale profile set at different heights so depending on which one I use it might not touch any pins at all when inserted
