I was apart of this, it was my first year in choir. And this was the most magical moment in my choir experience. I absolutely loved being able to experience this:) let's hope I make it again this year
I was apart of this, I remember crying because of the concert before us- a lot of us were singing with emotion because we had legitimately just cried- and I also remember jokingly doing the Macarena
The tradition? Surely you mean the one that goes back more than 20 years ago? Because that's how old these tradition is. It happened in 2003, 04, and 05 (all 3 years I was a high school student and part of the all state chorus).
Very moving and beautiful-a lifechanging experience..congratulations everyone!🎉(and perfect intonation !!!) Saw the clip on Instagram and had to find this on UA-cam! 😊
@skyhigh1489 This is a hotel lobby you dumbshyt, not a goddamned concert hall. The singers interrupting the peace and quiet are the ones who need a slap. 💩🖕

that atu concert hit different 🥲
I just cried
Yoooo!!! We were the choir that came late!!! I’m so glad this is up, we were all BUMMED OUT OF OUR MINDS that we missed it.
Bruh I remember this, lol, my voice was SO worn out before this, I'm a bass 2 aswell, and for the first time I actually struggled on this song lol
WOW. lots of connections. as a band kid who plays the french horn that was quite impressive.
HAHA I FOUND A FULL VERSION!! This was so fun to sing and even more beautiful to hear in person. Notice how we don’t know where the director was 😭
This was amazing for everyone!!Especially because my choir director (the conductor) was the one who started the tradition
@ohjeejayyt Your choir director is not the first jerk to interrupt the peace at a hotel with an unwanted impromptu performance. Grow up child.🤡

This song is actually written by Ken Burton from the UK…Jason Max Ferdinand Singers recorded it on their album “Solace”.
Reminds me of Orthodox hymns. Truly, it speaks to the soul
Awesome video, and was written *for* Jason Max Ferdinand and the J. Max Singers, but the piece is by Ken Burton!
I was there singing on the fourth floor
i was on 9th

Damn if only I was in that hotel to witness this. All State was amazing and I can't wait to join it next year.
They sound so 😍
This is the most ambitious and beautiful song I have heard among the many videos like this that I have watched. Well done! It was remarkable.
^Ambitious?🙄🤦♂️
I was a tenor on the 8th floor I think
Almost life changing singing it in person
You all sound so angelic. 😭 So pure. So true. So sincere. Bless you all! I really enjoyed this 😍😍😍
we did this song in my college choir this year and i can only imagine how it would sound live in this space!!
WOW! Amazing to see and hear! Did I just hear an oops moment? It happens! Thanks for posting this video...much appreciated!
Beautiful! 😊
Was this in Rodgers?
Some short video brought me here and I'm not disappointed ❤️
Wish our choir was there when it happened😂😭
Bruh, feels like an elegant underwater movie scene lol
The one who shut the door at the end deserves a slap… 🫱🏻💥
