Another great message from Dr James Tour on the book of Isaiah! I'm greatly benefitting from this Isaiah series that I've been watching regularly since lesson number 1. As someone whose personal memory-recall abilities are not exactly "the world's finest," I feel that I always benefit greatly from the books & teachings of Dr James Tour, Dr Henry Morris, Dr David Jeremiah, and Dr Robert Jeffress, in particular. All of these outstanding teachers DO HAVE an extraordinary memory capacity... have studied the Bible DAILY on a lifelong basis, have read extensively in books by other Christian writers & authorities... and can teach extremely well for those of us (like myself) who may have more trouble retaining all the factual data of Bible history & world history. Thanks Dr Tour for making this available to us. You offer a direction. Like utube influencer Peterson says. Get going. Start with cleaning your room. Do something. 15 mins a day is not much. Do it. I learned a number of new things in the first 8 verses of John that I had overlooked before. Dr Tour may not have your best way, but its a way, get started.
"The black hole believers" - it's a powerful image. Let us all understand it and be healed. By His stripes. And move on, move on, move on, with light, for light. Let there be more light to shine in darkness. Amen.

I love the Word of God. The more you read it, the more you understand how it all fits together. For instance the Triune blessing in Numbers 6: 24-26 could not be fully understood until Jesus was manifest in the flesh, representing verse 25, and then the Holy Spirit, represented in verse 26.
24 The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:
25 The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
26 The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
Thank you for the end message of “Just get on with it”, I know a number of folks including myself that can profit from hearing this simple learning. As for your sermons and learnings, thanks and I look forward to the next one.
FYI, another good recommendation I learned to live by for early morning reading of your Bible came from Ray Comfort of Living Waters….”No read no feed” !
Agree what Dr Tour said about "giving" ; don't let your left hand know what your right hand is doing . Another aspect of this is ; when I help Mr X clean up his garden the natural tendency is that I now feel that Mr X owes me a favor back. Or in the same situation. I help MR X clean up his garden.Then I call a friend telling him how I helped Mr X today. Hoping to hear ; - man ! You're such a good person. Even calling the local newspaper so they can write about next the time I'm cleaning the garden etc etc. No! Don't let your left hand know what your right hand is doing.🙂
Extend that back to understand Matthew 5.28-30 You may have to cut off a hand (association with a long time friend who is a bad influence) if it causes you to sin, or gouge out an eye (your own human parents if they are using their authority and customary familial duty to keep you in sinful traditions).

I hadn't perceived before these details about how the prophet Isaiah must have felt and I'm thinking about how one generation was sort of "blinded and deaf" and they only understood and accepted the truth after so much loss of everything. These thoughts made me remember that, unlike the rebel angels, humans can repent, even too late and a new world is rebuilt after all.
Sincere thanks for this deep exploration of Scripture. Your approach is comprehensive and profoundly insightful. Much appreciated, I will be back time & again for advancing my understanding and growth as a follower of Jesus as a gentile affiliating myself to the Jewish Messianics. Much love ❤❤

Considering the amount of times James yells at Professor Dave, does that mean James has committed the deadly sin of wrath?
I don't know, did "Professor" Dave lie continuously about James and refused to debate the science which caused him to be angry? It's amazing you point out Pro. James' anger but you don't point out why he got angry. Typical atheist morality, never pointing to your own hypocrisy but pointing out the result of it felt by others you interact with.
@@heathm2330 Dave is a self-admitted atheist. I don't think he'll care whether he goes to heaven or hell since it'll make no difference to him anyway. James isn't an atheist. So I think his actions should be scrutinized more than Dave's if we're talking about biblical standards.

Ben Shapiro is a traditional jew, he only believes in the law of Moses and not the New Testament, but Dr. Tour is a messianic jew, he believes in Jesus Christ. This is why their approaches are very diferent.
