I went with the LT320 3-6. I’ll only be hunting at night from 1-150 yards, don’t care to record, have WiFi, gps or any of those other extras. Just needed a scope to do what it needs to do, see my target, identify target, and hold zero for me to take out target.
Great reviews on ATN products! Having watched all your videos on ATN Scopes, I finally pulled the trigger and chose the ATN Thor 4 640 2.5-25x. Your videos really aided me in making my final decision! Thank you.
Honestly depends on the range you think you will hunt. But keep in mind a stronger base magnification will make zeroing a bit more precise with less challenge.
I’m running the LT 320 3x6 on my 7.62x39 AR. I hunt hogs in Central Texas area and have made some shots at 200, 230 yards. Most of my shooting is 35-100 yards. It’s a really good unit for the price. I’ve had mine for over a year, and have had Zero issues and the battery is really good.
No, neither units record. The sample footage included was from the Thor 4 with a 384 sensor. To your eye, that will look about the same as the 320 as seen through the scope and not on a recording where you will blow it up larger on a computer screen. You’ll loose about half of that resolution on the 160, which is why I’d recommend the 320 as a minimum resolution. You can also only zero as precisely as the resolution of your sensor.
What is a good thermal for a 100 to 150 yard very clear kill shot. No video or photos just good thermal. If I can spot heat at 500 yards cool. All my shots will be less than 200 yards.I must be able to identify within a 150 yards
There is no way for me to export video, so not much to be able to showcase. The 160 is 1/2 the resolution of the 320. I personally wouldn’t recommend the 160, I would suggest bumping up to at least the 320.
Sometimes all you want is a dirt simple system... It's when you start getting complicated for the sake of complication that things start getting stupid... Like the laser rangefinder, which is useless in fog or rain... Useless in heavily wooded areas... And if using it for tactical applications, while you're surfing menus and trying to input the new range, the guy who has manual turrets or who can hold off wins the day... Won't range through glass... Won't see through glass... Also you don't want to be sending out radio frequencies with Bluetooth or WiFi if you're trying to sneak in a hostile environment... That's actually how a lot of the fools in Ukraine have been found by Russia, using the signals or their cellphones... Also, the more complicated the easier it is to break the stupid thing... More bells and whistles means more to go wrong.... Now if you're just looking for a way to blow away large amounts of money, impress your drunk friends, or to record you killing that buck for his rack that you can't eat, then the Thor 4 is your ideal choice...
Fortunately I have not had to deal with the customer service, and I can honestly say their software/user interface is probably the most refined compared to the numerous other brands I have experience behind

@@4MRRanch works great!
@@kjw882 have you tried to use it at longer ranges?
Fortunately the ThOR 4 has double the battery life and is almost the same price.
@@zackzimmer7167the lt is like 1000 cheaper wym lol

You just answered all of my questions about these 2 scopes. Awesome video. Thank you.
Best review so far on the subject. Thanks!
Much appreciated, thanks for taking the time to watch.
I’d like to see a 640 LT
Thanks for the plain language explanation of the difference, you have stoped me making a costly mistake.
I’m glad you found this video useful. Thanks for watching.
Exactly what I was looking for better resolution but not wanting anything else I don’t care about WiFi or blue tooth or ballistics
Atn has so many variations of there scopes its hard to know whats what and compare prices. Thanks for the review!
Happy to help, thanks for watching.
What version of Thor LT can you recommend for the AR platform? 2-4x, 3-6x or 5-10x? Thanks.

I am still on the fence. I may just end up getting both of them!
Do you have an image comparison for the atn 160 and 320?

Watching these out of order but great job. I just subscribed ☺
Thank you for doing the expensive work! I very much appreciate your review.
I appreciate you taking the time to watch, and the positive feedback.
Bro, What is that board behind you holding your toys and where did you get it?? Thanks!
Gallowtech!
Hi! Great review. Have you done any comparison between Thor 4 and and the Tico clip on?
How to these compare to the agm rattler
I don’t have any firsthand experience with agm to give you an opinion.
can the firmware be update on the 320, if not is that really important?
Great review. Thanks. I actually just bought the Thor LT based on this review. Random question: Love your background. What kind of pegboard is that?
My setup is a combination of Gallowtech panels and wall mounts, and a DIY workbench built on top of old school lockers i refinished.
Thanks for the video
Trying to find at the best optic thermal vision for the money
In a perfect world which ATN would you recommend for an 600-800 meter shot?
I would not use thermal for long range as you can’t identify things at that range. I would use the 4K Pro.
False, the Thor 4 640 4-40x is perfect just for 800 yards for identification
Very detailed. Thanks.
Aeesome review!
Hello can you put this in Benelli m4;
I bought them both.

ThOR LT will be very capable out to 150 yards
could you compare the Thor LT 160 to the Thor LT 320?

320 2x4 Rockz!! 😎👍
How is the quality, did they break yet!
Both still going strong to date.
@@4MRRanch thanks for your response, I’ve read some bad reviews and an skittish about it.
@@greattribulation1388 I saw bad review video and my LT 160 is arriving Friday. Hope it works
Excelente tu Video
Thor 4 7x28 is incredible.
What’s it matter which atn product you selling. They are junk. I bought a Thor 4. I could never get 1 to work. 7 repair or replace. 640. It sucked
Thanks man
Watch on a fold4 at 4k... not sure what you are talking about.
How much does it cost?
He says in the beginning of the video

I bought a Thor 4. It’s junk. Been repaired or replaced 7 times. You get what you pay for. Buyer beware
Of all the night vision/thermal I’ve owned ATN was the worse. Customer service is NILL.
