I remember buying this album on cassette! I was blown away! I knew songs like living after midnight and such but this blew me away and I’ve been hooked ever since! Robs voice is just my serenity. I love this man! My metal god!
I saw priest perform this song multiple times never gets old the energy priest gives is heavy fat loud and a joy to be part of Free Wheels Burning-Judas Priest 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘🔊🔊🔉🔊🔊🔉🔊🎵🎵🎵☠️🎤🎸🎸🎸🎸🥁🔊🔊🔉🔊🔉🔉🔊🎵🎵☠️🤘
I was at this show in 1986 when it was in Biloxi MS. Met the lead singer of Krokus outside the hotel about 6hrs before the concert. They opened for Priest. He was waiting for his car to pick him up to go to the store. Cool guy.
That was the time “ Do or die “ in Heavy Metal. That was a battle between two monsters of Rock. Those were the best years of Metal ( 80-85) Judas, Maiden, Dio, Quiet Riot,Helloween , Accept, Metal Church , Twisted Sister and………. many others.
EVERY VERSION OF EVERY SONG FROM THIS TOUR IS FUCKING 🤌🏽❤️🔥. Please do “The Sentinel” from this tour as well. Honorary mentions would be fucking great power ballad such “out in the cold”, anthem like “heads are gonna roll” and of course sexy ass “Turbo Lover” 🤘🏾
Everything thing Priest did was a necessary step in the evolution of the band, you may not like every step but you have to respect it if you're a fan, they tried to please everyone and 50 million albums later its safe to say they did 😉
Not this live version, but the official music video of the studio recording they used to play on MTV in the early 80s was my introduction to Judas Priest. That guitar solo is permanently etched into my brain and still my favorite Priest guitar solo to this day.
That was fire!! And you are correct, young lady, we just guessed at the lyrics most of the time. We would even argue with our friends over what they were saying.🤣🤣 This song - forget it. I still have no idea what he was singing. The captions were even too fast to read and comprehend, at least for me they were.
I can't believe you guys have not checked out there 2 biggest hits "You've Got Another Thing Coming" and my favorite "Electric Eye" (The Live Aid version from the 80's is the best to me).
You guys should really do a reaction video of the guys from GWAR on the Joan Rivers show being interviewed by her... Absolutely epic and so funny! It's like 8 minutes long or something like that but so worth it!
Y'all also reacted to The Sentinel from this concert. It is one of the best concerts ever recorded. Y'all might as well just react to the whole thing because it is that good.
They were. But if you read KK's book it seems that Glenn's domineering nature and ultimately his drinking before shows became a problem that brought a wedge between them.
Yeah, i know some of them, who never ever EVER heard real Heavy Metal. If we talk about 100% clean and pure Heavy Metal - it's nothing but Judas Priest! Those who doesn't know that, well sorry for them...
Judas Priest and Halford at their absolute peak! 🤘👍💯👏👊
Wow. You are right!
This is the most amped-up version of Freewheel Burning ever. Pure magic.
I remember buying this album on cassette! I was blown away! I knew songs like living after midnight and such but this blew me away and I’ve been hooked ever since! Robs voice is just my serenity. I love this man! My metal god!
All metal variations have to thank Rob Halford. Because he started the Heavy Metal avalanche.

Dave Holland the best drummer ever in Judas and one the best ever.
One of my absolute favorite Priest songs
Trivia: The blonde guitarist, KK Downing had punctured his eyeball the day of this concert. That's why he's in shades. He's playing in absolute agony.
Damn! How did he do that?! 😮
@@ryandunham1047 I think it might have been the end of a guitar string that hadn't been cut off.
@@RolandDeschain1 Damn! 😳
😮😮😮😮
Never heard that before
This was peak JP classic sound. My favorite track :)
"Primo crunch-metal." Gotta love it...
Was 24 during that tour loved Judas Priest since they started
Just realized that Glenn's solo sounds a bit like something Michael Schenker would have come up with.
There was some interaction between Priest and UFO and schencker over the years.
KK too had this but also in chuggs
I saw Priest in December of '86 in Honolulu HI. I was in the 3rd row. It was incredible.
Awesome song in concert live, seen that show yay 🤘😎👍🎸🎸🥁🎤
Priest on fire!!!
I saw this live at the legendary Dayton Ohio Hara arena. Dokken opened. Killed. It.
EVERY VERSION OF EVERY SONG FROM THIS TOUR IS FUCKING 🤌🏽❤️🔥.

A band you have missed is Saxon. Try the live at Salem version of The Eagle has Landed. Or Lionheart
🔥
I always wonder how Glenn & KK felt in their neck the day after ,when their "thing" was to headbang to the drumbeat..and Ian Hill ,ofcourse.
I always wonder that their heads didn't fell off.
LegendZ
Please check out arch enemy
The hot lead singer has an awesome voice
Deceiver deceiver
Is a great song
I can't believe you guys have not checked out there 2 biggest hits "You've Got Another Thing Coming" and my favorite "Electric Eye" (The Live Aid version from the 80's is the best to me).
KK had a black eye hence the shades🤘
I think that she needs a fan. ;-)
Metal Gods.
Headpins Turn it Loud, Darby Mills she's the real deal for powerhouse female vocals

Glenn Tipton's SOLO Tho!
Almost "Painkiller" but not quite there yet. Still great, though.
You guys should really do a reaction video of the guys from GWAR on the Joan Rivers show being interviewed by her... Absolutely epic and so funny! It's like 8 minutes long or something like that but so worth it!

Priest- Metal Gods Live 1982
Glenn Tipton and KK Downing were an amazing tandem.
They were. But if you read KK's book it seems that Glenn's domineering nature and ultimately his drinking before shows became a problem that brought a wedge between them.
JUDAS PRIEST FUCKING RULES!
Glenn Tipton is master of disaster. Saw this tour in Dayton Ohio's Hara Arena. It kicked major ass. Dokken opened. 🤘
Priest with a dash of Lynch tossed in. Not a bad deal.
Rob in his prime.
Shredding with a leather jacket on is harder than it looks. 🥴
MC Halford. ;)
This sounds like Heavy Metal. The reason why I’m making this comment. Is because there are people who will argue that it’s not Metal.
There are?
@@JonMallek I mean there is actually people. Who think that only the extreme stuff is Metal.

please do hell rider from rising in the east

No lyrical, Some bands gave their fans the lyrics. In a gate fold. I.E without a booklet.
To bad ur band doesn't have anyone that can actually sing.
Your just 30+ years too late🤨🤨🤨🤨
Better late than never.😉
