This is the very best June Garden Tour on UA-cam!! You are both so knowledgable about your gorgeous plants, you speak about them without overcomplicating things and with such love. X
That's so wonderful to hear
I’m so jealous of those hydrangeas! They are just breathtaking. ❤❤❤
Agreed!!
Bb,
Eric I am sooo amazed how Christopher knows all thoses crazy names👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Haha I try
Eric and Christopher, Just WOW! I’m enjoying watching your June garden tour on my big 60” TV and watching this and had to get on my phone to comment. I live in a very pretty mobile park therefore I have a very small garden space. If I had more landscape I would copy your garden to a “T”😂 What a paradise you guys have created 🥰 I don’t think I’d ever go inside my house 😂 Thank you for sharing your garden with us. ❤❤ QUESTION: Those beautiful lavender mimi climbing rose in your large containers- are they from #Provenwinners? If not what is the name of them by whom???? I want one 🥰
Those are called Rise Up Lilac Days! I missed a plant label!! haha
Eric and Christopher I love that Kinzley’s ghost honeysuckle. I have two honeysuckles. Love this tour!💕
It’s so cool!
Beware, magic ball arbs love to be eaten by deer. I had them in several beds as borders, and ended up replacing 40 of them with winter boxwoods. BTW, Love you guys!
Thanks for the tip!
Wow! Your garden is absolutely gorgeous! How inspiring! Thank you for the tour!
You are so welcome!
Good afternoon Christopher and Eric, your garden is absolutely gorgeous!! I love it.. Great job guys!! God Bless Both of you!!
Thanks so much
I also think the surefire rose begonia is a neon-ish color. I love the yellow and white ones!
I loved the white one last year too
So inspired!!!! Thank you for creating this beautiful garden and explaining it so well❤❤
You are so welcome!
Enjoyed the walk in your beautiful garden ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Glad you enjoyed!
Beautiful. Count your blessings. We just survived the double brood of cicada which did substantial damage. As soon as those were gone the Japanese beetles started in. They have almost defoliated our climbing hydrangea that was trained to be our east wall on the pergola. So envious of gardens like yours.
Omg! Those cicadas are gross
I love me some Quick Fire and Pinky Winky hydrangeas.❤
me too
Good morning Eric and Christopher! I do appreciate the way weave evergreens in through your garden. My garden is heavy on trees and shrubs with perennials woven through in a tight color palette. Your garden is very inspirational to me. Enjoy the cooler weather!
Wonderful! We love the different sizes and shapes of evergreens
The garden looks AMAZING!!! Ps- love your shoes!
Well that means a lot coming from you! We have taken quite a lot of inspiration from your garden! ...and for the shoes, I might not be a big Crocs person, but those are just too comfy of a garden shoe! haha
Splendid Garden and tremendous plant knowledge. 😊
Why thank you!
That was lovely tour.. ❤ watch the whole video 😊.. and as always I love you both..
Yay! Thank you!
So beautiful garden .
Thanks for visiting
Just beautiful!
Thank you!
I saw that you are going to Cape Cod next week. We just returned this morning after a 3 day getaway. The hydrangeas are the most stunning color blue and they are everywhere. Enjoy! PS if possible, get in there very early, the traffic can be challenging.
That's wonderful to hear!
Beautiful tour! I always enjoy watching your channel. I love the lumbar pillow on your patio that says "Plant Parent"! Where can I buy one?
We found that at Target a few years ago
Just came across your channel after two minutes of watching this video, I hit subscribe. Thank you doing such a good job sharing your garden and naming every plant so patiently.
Welcome! We really love this community
I'm fairly new to your channel and I'm constantly inspired by your garden. Great work keep it up 😊
Welcome! Thank you for joining us
What a stunning collection , and beautifully landscaped ! I will be coming back to this video for my reference as I am rejuvenating my gardens! (Zone5) 🥰🌸🇨🇦
Wonderful! Enjoy!
Yeah I Was happy for the rest in the heat. The weird thing back in Cali, we would call this Earthquake weather, which we did have one back in March. haha
I'm assuming you want to cut off coleus blooms because the plant will die back?
Also, your front hydrangeas don't droop during the heat? Do you ever spray extra water?
They just don't look as good with the blooms for us. They will still grow fine. The hydrangeas up front honestly just thrive.
I am 10a Fl so I don’t deal with deer but I don’t mind sharing my garden with critters so would or could you plant in the wood line a garden for the deer so they can leave your garden alone 🤔 is that even a thing
That's a good question. They seem to do whatever they want regardless
I just got done bragging to someone about your garden in the comments of another video as if it was my own garden. 😅 I directed them to your channel, to see what a “Beautiful” well maintained garden looked like.
Everyone gardens differently
@@growformegardening That particular video was a clickbait of making you think you would see pictures of beautiful gardens, but the guy basically talked about gardens and you really never got to see the actual gardens…some of the commenters we’re having viewers remorse, lol. So, I suggested they might want to view your channel.
Do you have any advice on deadheading or cutting the spent flowers from a proven winners let’s dance rhythmic blue hydrangea? The tag says reblooming big leaf and not to prune. Do I just leave the faded blooms go and wait for it to rebloom?
ooh that is a hydrangea we have not tried yet. If you look down the stem to a set of leaves across from each other, you may see little growth points. That is where you would snip them to encourage new shoots. If you don't see that, maybe just take the flower head itself off and let the plant figure itself out!
@@growformegardening thanks so much! You are the best!
TY...
You got it!
Gorgeous! You both put so much work and thought into your garden - it’s a real haven.
Thanks so much! 😊
I love the long format of your videos. This is my favorite “show” to watch! Your gardens are gorgeous, and you are both so engaging. Keep up the amazing work! 🌸 🌺
Thank you so much!
Every time I see one of your tours I think the hydrangeas are my favorite, no the trees are my favorite and then I realize I just love your garden! Wonderful tour as always!
That's pretty much me too!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your garden!!! I am continually amazed at what you have accomplished in 5 years! What an inspiration you are!
Thank you so much!
What an awesome tour - thanks so much, Eric & Christopher, for taking us along!
Glad you enjoyed it!
STUNNING ❤
Thank you!!
What a beautiful garden! I am amazed that you can remember all the names!! I live in the same zone; been gardening for over 50 years and know exactly how difficult the weather can be. Great job, enjoy your channel 💕
Thank you! Lots of practicing with the names!
Your garden needs an award 🏆 I always love watching your tours!!!!
Aww thanks
Gorgeous garden as always. I hope you both are going to PW Cultivate again this year. So well deserved 🌿🌻🌿
We’ve never been before actually
Wow! That Korean fir is the cutest thing! You guys have the most meticulous garden. Everything is filling in oh so beautifully!
It’s the best new addition!
Great tour..I love that you show the name of the plants on the screen. Thanks for that.
You are so welcome!
You both did a great job.
Christopher is a living enzyclopedia of plants and flowers!😊
Haha thanks
Fantastic, detailed, and entertaining tour! Love how you take turns in front of the camera! Love your varieties of plants, shrubs, and trees! ❤ I am a fellow Lowe's plant rescuer 😂
Sometimes you just need to save a sad plant
Good morning! Enjoying this video with a cool breeze blowing through the house with my morning coffee. Beautiful start to the day! Thank you for sharing.
Good morning! Have a great one!
Hello Eric and Christopher, I watched this a second time, I never tire of telling you how gorgeous your garden is and you two are delightful😃fantastic tour, keep enjoying the gardening journey .
That is so encouraging, thank you.
@@growformegardening ❤️
Stunning garden fellas! I’m extremely impressed with how Christopher remembers all of the different varieties. I could never lol. I’m so inspired by you both and I have added a number of hydrangeas after seeing how beautiful they are in your garden. I’m in St. Louis, MO zone 6b/7a.
That's awesome! More hydrangeas!
Your show has become one of my favorites! I'm in zone 6b
Thank you for joining us!
Love the hydrangea room…..so much growth in one season. You guys are so talented.
We are so happy with the progress
Your outside living room hanging spinning basket flower combo is SPECTACULAR! The colors are GORGEOUS! And I just LOVE the backets that are hanging against the wall. What a BEAUTIFUL garden you have. I was wonder about the very back elevation ... it that yours too and does it run into a forest? I just found you today (July 6th) and I am grateful to have done so. I'll be watching ALL your videos.
We don’t own all of the berm so we have planted mostly the bottom. It is so nice to have the forever wild behind us
My Stand by Me was on the cusp of getting yanked but it’s only on year 2 so I’ve ordered a birdcage from Gardeners Supply and give the ole gal another season! Yours is beautiful 😍
That is awesome!
Love the Ice Breaker Korean Fir, Royal Frost birch tree, Allium Schubertii, blue evergreen and your hydrangea room💕👍👌❤️🥀🥰. Everything is absolutely beautiful!! I need to go shopping now 💴 💰 💵.
Thank you! Cheers!
Hi Eric & Christopher
New subscriber here.
Beautiful gardens. Thank u for sharing your talent and love for gardening.
I know the July tour will be amazing. 😊
Welcome! We are happy you are here!
Wow!! I just stumbled onto your channel and I'm so glad I did. Your garden design is perfection with the combo of colors, textures, heights. Love it!! About your banana cream daisies... did you divide them and just separate them a little to put back in the ground in the same area? I got some this year and I don't love the round glob appearance. Yours looked beautiful! Also, drunk pruning made lol.
Welcome!! We are happy you are here. Yes Eric divided the clumps and spaced them out in the same area
Love your garden tour for the end of June. Everything is looking gorgeous. I think my favorite tree is the Shiloh Splash Birch. The hydrangeas are covered with blooms.
Thanks for sharing. Your knowledge is impeccable.
It is such a special little tree
Lovely garden tour! Regarding the Shiloh Splash River Birch, do you find it ever needs extra water? Or is it on drip? Btw, when I was looking up ones for sale, on the initial google search results page that came up, I saw a picture of yours in the spot by the house- looked exactly like that area by your house. That picture went to a sketchy looking website that seemed to sell everything from underwear to trees. I went back again to find it, but couldn't. Bet that happens with your videos and images. Anyway, thanks for answering my water needs question! 😊
I feel like photos end up all over the place these days. Our shiloh is on drip, being a river birch I was a bit generous with the watering
Wow so gorgeous I love all the combinations color blends you’re both great designers, thank you for sharing your beautiful garden. Love from Washington State 👍🙏😊❤️🌹
Much appreciated
Wow!!! Your place is absolutely stunning. I wish I could be your neighbor 😊 I garden in Tampa Florida and I can’t have those beautiful hydrangeas of yours. Your garden shows a lot of love and dedication 🫶🏼
Thank you so much!
Also, I cover the deers fav plants wlight frost cloth every night & remove it after they have past through my yard. It has been 100% effective. It did blow off some hostas last night so I lost a big sum & substance. I’ll be sure to tack it down better tonight. (Light weight would be .55 oz). Not sure about the meaning other than .something is lighter than 1. Something.
That would take a lot of work!
The garden looks amazing! 1. I love the artist blue floss flower with the hydrangea. I made a note to do that combo next year. 2. My eggplants always looks like they are about to give up the ghost. It is guaranteed to be the worst looking plant in the veggie garden, but it keeps producing. There was a "3" but I forgot. I should have commented last night when I was watching 😂
I’m so glad to hear that eggplants generally don’t look that great
You guys did such a beautiful job in just a couple years! I love how modern your garden looks. There's always something new n poppin everytime I watch!
Thank you so much!
Good evening Eric and Christopher! Wifey and I were in Boston all day and as soon as I got home, changed, checked out my gardens, I jumped on to your channel, sat back with a big mug of lemon ice water and watched this video. Your wall of Limelights along your fence is my inspiration. I’m trying for this for the front of our house to block out a huge area of natural woodland in a kettle hole. They need pruning but they’re getting there. Thank you for taking your time to film these videos - they inspire, educate and entertain those of us who love to garden. Hoping to see you at the Hydrangea Festival at Hyannis Country Garden. I’ll be there (wifey has a family thing she can’t miss but has given me her blessing to miss it so “go see your UA-cam guys”) LOL!
Eric's pruning technique keeps panicles looking SO good. Hope to meet you as well!
I have a large older hydrangea bush about 5 feet tall that has blooms with a purple edging with a greenish tone, yet my next door neighbor has a large bush in the blue variety about 15 feet away from my bush on the other side of my fence. I do like the purple color, but want to know if my hydrangea can ever be changed to the bluer tone? I'm guessing the plant is over 20 years old. I am in zone 7a, Southern Connecticut, shoreline area. I just found a slug eating my marigolds. Can you suggest a good product to keep them away from my plants? Thank you.
Try adding a soil acidifier in the Fall and then in Spring..maybe it will adjust the Ph? Worth a shot! Grab some Sluggo and sprinkle it around the plants for slugs!
Beautiful garden Eric and Christopher! I'm glad you mentioned that a lot of your plants are flowering early, makes me feel better about my garden being a bit behind. Different climates I guess (Idaho, 6b)
It's definitely a wild year
Your garden is looking breathtakingly beautiful! 💚💐 Question - why do you have a border of rock around the foundation of your house? Couldn’t that also be planting areas? Just curious!
It serves two purposes. One is to help keep water moving away from the foundation but it also gives a little visual space for the gardens
Thanks for the beautiful tour! I’m loving your purple and yellow pots this year. Definitely going to need copying some of those combinations next year 😍!!
That’s great!
Absolutely beautiful! You have so many wonderful plants. I have screen shot a few that I hope to try in my Nova Scotia, 🇨🇦 garden 🌸
Thank you!
Absolutely gorgeous- especially your hydrangeas room. You guys are so knowledgeable, inspiring and just a great pleasure to watch. Thank you for sharing your experiences and knowledge.
Our pleasure!
My, planted this year, Let’s Dance Can Do and Aribbare suffering the heat. I’ve been watering nearly every day. The blooms are very droopy and even faded. Would you ever cut back these blooms? Or do they just need to get thru this first year and see how they are next year once they get rooted in?
They do put out pretty large blooms so if you’re willing to forfeit them for now, trim them back so the plant doesn’t put energy into them. I’m sure they’ll be amazing.
Why don’t you get a deer fence for the rest of your yard
We are considering some options
You might be able to protect the early macrophylla hydrangea buds w frost cloth (1.0 per oz or more). That way you would have blooms at the top & bottom of the shrub.
We will be working on a system for sure
Fantastic! Your new hydrangea room is just breath taking. I love love love it. Well done guys!
Glad you like it!
Loved the tour of your beautiful garden. Can't wait to see the Hydrangea hedge in full bloom, it will be a stunner. Thank you. 💚💚💚
Can't wait!
Just found your channel, what an amazing, heavenly garden. No words...just wow!
Welcome! Thank you for watching
its all looking nice and lush.. the rain has been pretty steady here in the Midwest for once; but the sun is just blistering this year and frying some of my hydrangea leaves; even the ones that get morning sun.. I don't know if I should go out and buy a canopy or shade something of some sort.. lol
Have you tried giving them supplemental water in the morning?
your garden is very beautiful! Thank you for sharing it with us! Blessings from Ontario Canada :)
Thank you so much!
I want to move where you live! We are still sweltering and the skies are just teasing. I love your garden. Bless you both! You have so much talent!!!
We are in the 90s today! It’s super hot
Your tour was so good and everything is looking beautiful I wanted to tell ya and this is just my opinion I think your the top Five best channels on you tube and I say this from the point of view you both tell us about the plants but you don’t over state it you design is perfessional and you have four season interest but ostof all I think you both compliment each other so this makes for a wonderful tour thank you both 🦋
That is wonderful to hear, thank you for watching
Great tour! I love that you show the name of the planet on the screen thank you good luck for that.
Glad you liked it!
I just love love your garden and the way that you present the plants and trees. I’m learning much. Thanks
So nice of you
Your yard/garden is amazing! Do you do all the work yourselves and how long did it take to create this masterpiece?
We do almost everything ourselves. This year was the first year we had the mulching done...we are up to about 22 yards!
Outstanding garden, wish you could come design mine! Do you prune your Mock Orange?
We haven’t just yet because it is so small
The garden are so beautiful and the Hydrangea's are absolutely stunning.
Thank you!!
So much love for your garden 🌸 Thank You ❤️❤️
You are so welcome!
Beautiful garden! Textures, colors, placement just wow!!
Thank you so much!
your garden looks amazing. really inviting. What did you say the name of the birch tree was again?
Shiloh Splash!
DRUNK PRUNNING! OMG, you cracked me up! LMAO!!!
haha
I always love your garden yours!! So many great plant combinations 💕
Thanks so much 😊
This was so much fun to watch, and great timing. I had some disappointing health news today and it was really nice to set that aside and watch a tour of your beautiful garden, hosted by people who love plants even more than I do. 😁 Thank you for all your efforts and for brightening my day!
I'm terribly sorry to hear that. I am glad you were able to enjoy some garden time to lift you up.
WOW! Had to watch with paper & pencil.. Just Beautiful!
Thank you so much 😀
Love the tour! Will you do a video on all your evergreens? Just like the video you did on your deciduous trees? I need to add more evergreens.
I'm sure we will soon enough!
90 temps? Try 105-110 temps every single day😅
It’s so refreshing to see so much beauty! Can’t wait to get back to that in my garden, but for now it’s cooking 🍳 lol
Oh I'm not jealous of that!
@@growformegardening 🤣🤣🤣
You guys!! Always always always love anything you share about your garden! It feels like I am in a friend’s garden taking a stroll and talking about plants. It’s absolutely outstanding! Love the camera work! Picture is so crisp and sharp. It’s a delight watching you both! Thank you for sharing your garden with us! ❤️
Our pleasure!
Looking beautiful 💚💚

Maybe one day!
Love your garden tour!!! Also, Eric, I love your shirt!!!
Thanks so much!
You both do a great tour. Can tell you love your garden. Thank you really enjoy your time.
Our pleasure!
Stunning, gorgeous, beautiful!!! Can I ask what brand of mulch you use in your garden? It's so natural and clean looking!!
We only use compost! That's why it looks so even and neat
@@growformegardening oh awesome. Do you have to use a weed control or do you just hand pull?
Amazing guys! So not yet time for the verbena bonariensis?
They are coming quickly but only one bloom!
I really love your gardens ! I learn so much! Thanks❤❤❤
I'm so glad!
Your yard is stunning, so beautifully planned.
Thank you so much!
I watched this entire tour at work while I work through bills. Lovely tour!
Why thank you!
