The fun thing about Legends is that they have many unique Sith Lords that are interesting. Sadly, very few are in the canon. Hopefully a lot of the Legends characters are brought into canon one way or another.

Vitiate was the Sith Emperor for 1,300 years so i'd say he's pretty important
If I could bring anything from legends into canon it would be the entire Sith Lord lineage, I just love them all and find the history of the sith very interesting
Phoenix Meow Cat Attorney I feel the same way.. if you really like the Old Republic era and all of the old Sith Lords and you should play Star Wars the Old Republic... The star Forge server has a healthy population with 140 to 180+ players along with a second instance that usually has 30 to 60 players in it and of course weekends are always really good
I always found the Sith of the Old Republic way more interesting than the ones from the sequel books. People like Revan, who ended toeing the line between light and dark. Valkorion (it's easier to spell) who mastered immortality more than anyone else, and built a second empire under the noses of the sith and Jedi. I find them a lot more interesting than all of the post movie legends sith put together. Honestly? I find Kylo Ren more interesting than the ones from the legends sequels
Then again, I was never that big a fan of the legends post movie stuff, so that might have something to do with it

Darth Traya deserves some extra props in the final list as she's the most fleshed out example we're given of how sith teachings are presented and passed on.
I wouldn’t say that the most fleshed our example of sith teachings being passed on is in the bane novels.
I miss the legends dark lords. Mainly Vitiate, Revan, Malak and Krayt

@@Mobysimo Now Revans canon it could mean Vitiate and Malak are also canon, they literally don't need to change these characters at all they could just do the original kotor storyline with minor tweaks to fit new canon

What about Darth Marr for the part where you talked about legends also the last Sith Lord Darth Wredd? One is from KOTOR and the other is from a comic book series, so maybe they dont count.

Hay, today i saw the Clone Wars Episode "Children of the Force" from season two, third episode. In the first few minutes Mace Windu, Yoda, Obi Wan and Anakin sat down to meditate and in order to find out which children Cad Bane will kidnap. Mace Windu talked about the Planet "Glee Anselm" and after Yoda sayed Anakin that he has to go to Naboo with Ahsoka, Windu asked yoda if there really isnt a kid on Glee Anselm, but Yoda answered (I have to translate from german into english now) that "it was sucked into the shadow of the dark side and its fate is concealed". He also stated that "the loss of him is hard but many other children are in danger"
I would like to know what Yoda ment when he sayed that? What happened to the child or if there is even any information about that.

Kylo and snoke aren't sith. Ventress hasn't delved deep enough into the dark side to be called sith... Same with dooku (in my opinion) and Savage oppress. Some say maul is not sith, but he definitely is. Has been since birth.

Kylo is also such a crappy villain. Vader was great because he was intimidating and (during the movies) he was a mystery. Noone knew his background or where he came from. And when they found out, it was acceptable because it was dark. His fall to the dark side was twisted, dark, intriguing, violent, and evil. That is why Vader is a good villain. Kylo is laughable. And his origin is dumb. At least with his Expanded universe version (jacen solo/darth caedus) he was powerful in the force and had actually become evil when he killed his aunt and had actually embraced the dark side and never had tantrums that made him look weak. And it was interesting seeing him fall to the dark side

There was also King Ommin and Queen Amanoa of Onderon, who were influenced by Freedon Nadd's spirit shortly before the Great Sith War. Exar Kun made contact with Nadd while looting their treasury in the aftermath of their downfall.
There were a few Sith Pureblood rulers before the arrival of the Dark Jedi after the Hundred Year Darkness, like Adas and Dathka Graush, but it's questionable whether they count as Dark Lords in the same sense as their successors.

I think during the Cold War all the members of the Dark Council under Vitiate shared the title of Dark Lord of the Sith in his absence. I could be mistaken though.
You should do a video of every Dark Jedi don't forget to include Desann and Tavion Axmis. Tavion would later become the host to Marka Ragnos.

Zannah is not canon. Bane, Plagueis, Sidious, Maul, Tyrannus, and Vader are the only Banite sith that are canon.

Star Wars Explained I think techinically Darth Marr was actually. He was a part of the Emperor's council which were all granted titles of 'Dark Lord' and he was in charge if the Sith military.

The Dark Council was the leader of the Empire and the Sith post the Emperor's betrayal and before The Eternal Empire took over. The only reason Darth Acina is the Empress to begin with is that all the other powerful Sith are either dead or work for The Eternal Alliance.

I like Legends, but some of the Sith Lords in there must've felt pretty DRY. On the other hand, I hope they manage to canonize/recanonize the really GOOD ones in the new Canon. My personal top 7 Sith are Darth Vader, Darth Bane, Darth Nihilus, Darth Talon, Revan, Count Dooku, and Zannah. Man, there are so many Sith Lords to pick and choose within the EU, whether interesting or uninteresting.

Savage was trained by Tyranus. But the point is that Maul and Savage broke the rule of two by trying to start on their own. When Sidious learned of this, he murdered Savage and captured and tortured Maul. For a short period of time, Savage could technically have been considered a Dark Lord of the Sith.
Ventress was always meant to be used merely as a Dark Assassin, much like the Inquisitorius was to Sidious and Vader. When Sidious figured Ventress was growing too strong and might cause trouble, Sidious had his apprentice Tyranus kill Ventress and then sought out a new assassin in the form of Savage Opress.

Hey Dawg She wasn't a Sith, never trained as one but as a Sith Assasin. Only reason Savage is on the list is because Maul proclaimed them both Sith so it was informal. But Ventress was only ever trained as an Assasin and Dooku planned on training her as a Sith after he killed Palpatine.

The one i'd say you missed isnt techiniaclly a "Dark Lord of the Sith" is King Adas. He was King of the old sith empire before any contact with the galaxy at large around 27,700BBY and was considered the Sith'ari and was a Master of Sith Magic. After teaching him all about Holocrons, he was killed successfully driving off the Infinite Empire once he realized they were actually there to conquer his people
