Man I just purchased a tub of sonnys for the 1st time ever gave it a shot and literally was the only one wearing the channels out on the bank. The bite was hot and heavy. Didn't have much time to fish but in two days total 4 hours I caught 14 slipcorking the banks about a foot down. A pure blast thats forsure🎣🐱🐟
That’s awesome! It’s a bait that will produce a lot of action. I like to put out dipbait and also some fresh cutbait or live bait in hopes of getting a bigger cat.
@AnglerX na man I just ordered the cheese one from Amazon see how it goes I live in south Texas rio grande valley n I feel these fish are stubborn here lol but I hear lots of great reviews and videos on this product
Great video. I have caught thousands on Sonny's or now triple s bait. Get some hollow dip worms and run a 4/0 gammy circle. Your hook ups will increase. Something I've tried new this year is team catfish fiber nuggets. It's a slow release bait that I've casted in and out 7 times and easily was still on..anyways take this fiber nugget put it on a hook then dip it in triple s. (Your fiber nugget now acts as a dip worm and holds the triple s) cast it out and your good for a great minute. Fiber nugget lasts a good time in current.
Treble hooks are definitely effective at hooking fish. I've used them for channel cats before but switched because the fish were getting hooked badly. That said if your fishing to keep a few then treble hooks are probably your best bet.
Great Summer background. Sky and river back drop. Very good catfishing educational video. Anyone can learn more or anything about catfish and catching them. Keep up the good informational videos!!!
Andrew Najera they are two very different rods but both are medium heavy. The long spin casting rod is 8’6” and is design for steelhead fishing. It’s really fun to use on channel cats. The heavier rod is a 7’6” E Cat by Berkely and is designed to handle large catfish. If you’re not fishing around a lot of trees you can get by with a little less rod but to really control the fish and get them out of the trees you need something beefy. Go to Fat Cats in Trempealeau if you need a rod. He has a great selection.
Im an all cut or live bait kinda guy. I dont use stink bait, stink bait was maid for fish trap to attract fish..not make them hit. Screw that. Bait it up. No butter bullshit
I agree, cut bait and live bait are very good! I prefer to use them as well but the dip bait is super effective for channel cats. When I don't have live or cut bait and just want to fish cats for a couple hours the dip bait is great. Thanks for watching!

I run Tru Turn hooks thru my dip lures.

Works in Mississippi River because some of those cats never seen it before in Missouri its a lot tougher
Finally!!! Thanks for showing me what the loop is for on a pre-rigged worm.
Yep, I think that's what it's for
Man catfish love cheese idk I see videos of people using cheese dip baits and it works
Yeah, cheese works. Have you tried the blood formula?

Use tubes with #2 Treble hooks
