fantastic song, thank you Anzacs for your service
This is beautiful and this should be our song
*Plz read the whole thing I wrote it myself*
Forgetting the real heroes who kept us alive
The soldiers will march of on to the beat
The songs playing as the ships pulled out
Brave and joyfullness is what they felt
Young to old
From weak to strong
The heroes sail off
Some maybe even the last time being seen
Years and years these heroes fight
Wining or losing
There is nothing to smile about
Dead bodies cover the ground
Soldiers
Horses
Dogs
Donkeys and mules
All dead after fighting for us
Fighting to keep us alive
Many may say it was a dumb decision to make
Marching off to war
But nobody knew what was to come
Nobody knew the horrific terms they’d suffer
Regret and disappointment each solider felt
The war was not as it first seemed
Walking through a battlefield
Many would discover the soldiers
Lifeless and still
Staring up in pain
Each trench filled with bodies
Traps
And Spirits
Spirits of the long gone heroes
The heroes that we look up to
To this day and forward
The 11th minute
Of the eleventh hour
Of the eleventh day
Of the eleventh month
This was when it all changed
For the better or for the worst
The war was over
Cheers erupting from the beaten
And battered soldiers
As they shared cigars and beer with
Their sick and wounded aquatintances
The ones the fought with side by side
As the war was progressing
Sailing home
maybe the best moments for some soldiers
And for others the worst
The ships docked as the crowd stayed silent
Horrified by the sight in front of them
The soldiers were sick and wounded
The state some were in
Way worse then dying
The war grounds were growing flowers
Flowers that seemed to show spirits
As the flowers each grew 4 red petals
Resembling the mark of blood
They were the only life left
On the deserted spaces of land
Now each 11th hour of the 11th of November
We respect these heroes
Giving 1 minute of silence to remember
To grieve
And to put ourselves into their situation at war
As the ceremony comes to an end
We repeat the words
The words that we all know
The words that show that we still remember
Lest We Forget
Well said mate

I come from the dreamtime
From the dusty red soil plains
I am the ancient heart
The keeper of the flames
I stood upon the rocky shore
I watched the tall ships come
For forty thousand years I've been
The first Australian
I came upon the prison ships
Bound down by iron chains
I've worked the land
Endured the lash
And waited for the rains
I'm a settler
I'm a farmers wife
On a dry and barren run
A convict and a free man
I became Australian
I'm the daughter of a digger
Who sought the mother load
The girl became a woman
On the long and dusty road
I'm a child of the Depression
I saw the good time come
I'm a bushy, I'm a battler
I am Australian
We are one
But we are many
And from all the lands on earth we come
We'll share a dream
And sing with one voice
I am, you are, we are Australian
I'm a teller of stories
I'm a singer of songs
I am Albert Namatjira
And I paint the ghostly gums
I am Clancy on his horse
I'm Ned Kelly on the run
I'm the one who waltzed Matilda
I am Australian
I'm the hot wind from the desert
I'm the black soil of the plain
I'm the mountains and the valleys
I'm the drowned and flooding rains
I am the rock
I am the sky
The rivers when they run
The spirit of this great land
I am Australian
We are one
But we are many
And from all the lands on earth we come
We'll share a dream
And sing with one voice
I am, you are, we are Australian
We are one

The rich man writes the book of laws
that the poor man must defend.
But the highest laws are written
on the hearts of honest men.
I have had the privilege of serving with Australians and New Zealanders and there are no better guys.

The person at 2.08 , Tommy DERRICK VC worked on my Grandfather block Berri SA pre WW2 .. Lest we forget
Una canción en resaltar el valor de las fuerzas australianas durante las dos guerras mundiales que fueron simplemente sobresalientes y admirables por su coraje desplegado en el fragor de esas feroces batallas libradas.
I love this digger song
We respect the anzac soldiers thay died out there respect them and im a kid not kidding 🙏🏻😊
I love Australia this should be our anthem
I respect everyone that fought in Gallipoli WW1 WW2 veteran war and more in Gallipoli the Australians landed in the wrong area and still gave off one hell of a fight! And I am glad that some of them survived but I pray for the fallen (and there might’ve been aboriginals there too but they aren’t on the list so we don’t know how many died and so many people back then were racist (that’s just how it was don’t judge them for that mindset) but Rest In Peace to all those who died 🙏♥️🙏
Love this for not glorifying war and god bless you all
Lest we forget
