Not everyone realises, but the British military makes an oath to the monarch, NOT to the government. I think that's a really important safeguard in a democracy. That said, I just can't believe it's been a year since our beloved Queen passed away. May she rest in peace...her legacy will never be forgotten. 🙏👑👑👑
I believe it was from a movie but maybe based on real life, when the prime minister said, "Our troops..." She returned with "Mr. Prime Minister, they are MY troops."
I thought it was something that most people knew not the other way round, after all there's the Royal Air Force, the Royal Navy and although it's not the Royal Army there are bands of the army that have the H.M. that preface them.
As an Australian who loved the Queen it is wonderful to see two Americans having so much respect and love for her as well as for our new KIng. Thank you for presenting this wonderful tribute of the Queen.
It's taken me 2 months to watch this video as I'm still grieving for our Queen and I don't think as a 64 year old I will ever stop grieving her, Thank you for showing it
Sir Simon Weston, (you're right) was a Veteran of the Falklands War. He was severely burned, but was determined to not let his wounds define him. A real hero. When I saw the Covid19 poster, my mood changed to tearful (because it brought back Dark Days). My Beloved Maternal Grandfather and then my Maternal Grandmother a week later. We adored our Queen. Proud to be an Elizabethan
In an ever changing world Queen Elizabeth brought stability. Her sense of service and duty were there right until the end. As Paddington so poignantly said to The Queen at her Platinum Jubilee ' Thank you Ma'am; for everything' and thank you Natashia and Debbie for this fitting tribute.
when prince philip died,to see our queen sitting on her own with a broken heart was agonizing to watch ,as just a few months before i did the same when my partner passed.even now i will never get over that pain, but for her to have lost a partner of 70 years must have been deverstating.
It is hard to believe that it has already been 1 Year since Queen Elizabeth has passed. Thank you both for an amazing tribute and your heartfelt words. God Bless Queen Elizabeth II and God Save the King
Yes, an amazing tribute👏. I'd just add that HM's grandfather was also a serving naval officer before he became Prince of Wales upon the death of Edward VII. The Navy really was ingrained in her dna.🙂 🏴
I find myself answering you both as if you could answer me back. I miss her so much I am 74 and my Dad served her family as a Coldstream Guard from 1934 until 1945. I could share so much with you both but not publicly God bless you both. 🇮🇱🇬🇧🙏🏼🇺🇸🇨🇦🙏🏼🤗🌹🌹🇬🇧🇬🇧
*Please stay tuned after the reaction for our own words of tribute.* It's nearly impossible to believe that the World lost Queen Elizabeth ll one year ago. We like so many around the globe, have mourned and missed her dearly. On this one year passing of the World's most beloved Monarch we give tribute, celebration and a look back on her life of service and love of the military. She was Commander-in-Chief to so many and her love for all the servicemen and woman was a thing of beauty. Our admiration for the United Kingdom's people and military along with our love of the Queen, is exactly why we wanted to pay our respects, one last time. The Queen may be gone but her legacy lives on in each of us. God Save The King & God Bless America. Thank you SO much for watching! Please please please react to the video - " The story of Britain's Bravest Soldier's - Victoria Cross For Valor". It is on the channel "Timeline - World History Documentaries". It is absolutely the best video you will see of the bravest soldiers in the UK and commonwealth. Well thanks for that ladies. Just spent the last hour sobbing my heart out. Great video. As someone who was lucky enough to meet her majesty as a star struck 8 year old schoolboy when she visited my town during her silver jubilee celebrations in 1977, all I can say is, “RIP Ma’am”. My Queen.
Thank you so much Natasha and Debbie! You're both always so sincere, and don't think I didn't notice how you included I Vow to Thee My Country at the end! Also, just fyi, think you might have forgot to pin this comment.
I listened to a man cry while i listened to my radio this morning as he remembered his meeting with the queen . Her words spoken during the covid event when she said "we will meet again" were from the song sung by the wonderful voice of Vera Lynn We'll Meet Again with whom i feel the Queen would have felt a connection as someone who lifted the spirits during those dark years.
A full year, it's wild. She was such a constant in life in Australia, even as someone in my early 30s she was so loved and respected just as much as the older generation. Both my parents were RAAF and always said the nickname for her was "The Boss". I heard a funny story about a RAAF Warrent Officer chewing out a cadet officer for putting his hands in his pockets with something along the line of - "THE QUEEN OWNS THOSE TROUSERS SO GET YOUR FILTHY GRUBBY HANDS OUT OF THE LADYS' POCKETS!". I'm sitting here in my home study looking at the spare change bowl, her face is on every coin.
She was quite simply the greatest. A year on, we still feel her loss. A legacy that will last the millenniums. She truly was Elizabeth the Great. We miss you deeply Ma’am, we carry you in our heart 💔
My love and thanks to you both for this beautiful tribute to our most beloved Queen Elizabeth I totally respect King Charles and the Royal family but there will never be anyone ever to take the Queen's place in our country thank you Natasha and Debbie you are a credit to your show I love watching you both ❤❤❤❤
I wouldn’t miss this for the world. Our late queen deserves all our love and respect for her long and dedicated service to our country. We still miss you ma’m, and always will. Thank you for doing this tribute Natasha and Debbie, we know you also hold her in the highest regard.

A fact that is often overlooked is the circumstances in which she became heir to the throne. If Edward VIII had not abdicated then Princess Elizabeth would have probably lived in relative obscurity, presenting the FA Cup, that sort of thing. The Abdication Crisis changed all that and at just ten years old the course of her life changed. In a classic example of actions speaking louder than words she instructed the band playing at the changing of the guard the day after 9/11 to play the Star Spangled Banner.
In a world where there is constant criticism and instant fault finding, she never put a foot wrong in 70 years. Will there ever be a more wonderful woman?
I won’t miss this video. Queen Elizabeth was someone I admired greatly and will be happy to honour her by watching this video. I hope many join us to do the same

Thank you for showing such tasteful respect to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. She was our nations Mum Sister Auntie Grandma. REST IN PEACE YOUR MAJESTY. Gone but never forgotten. God Bless and Long live the King.
A brilliant tribute to our late Queen Elizabeth II 1 year on from her passing. You two show nothi g but respect, love, genuine joy about her. It was so lovely to see. Emotional but she will never be forgotten. ❤❤❤❤
This tribute was beautifully done. Thank you Natasha and Debbie for doing this. The message of reassurance she delivered for COVID-19 is so moving. You should watch it in its entirety. My favorite videos are of her on her beloved Burmese at the Trooping of the Colour. She did that on horseback until she was 60 years old! I love her for that! God bless you both.
That was a beautiful tribute to the late Great Queen Elizabeth ll . It was a shock to find out she was ill and lose her the same day and it’s shocking that a year has passed already. Without her We miss her and we always will hold her close in our hearts ❤️Her armed forces were very important to her and a large part of her life as a woman and Queen. I appreciate the love , time and thought you have put into this tribute episode to the Queen. ❤️
On behalf of whomever is remembering The Queen on this first anniversary, I simply wish to express deep gratitude for her loyal and most dutiful reign. We love and miss you. Thank you, ma'am. 🖤❤💙
Thank you can't believe it's been 1 year as it still feel like she is with us, I'm sure watching over us but I am ever so happy to have within my lifetime as there will never be anyone else like the magnificent Elizabeth II
Ladies, I’m a Brit now living in San Francisco. Your live for my biological home is overwhelming. I so enjoy seeing how comfortable Debbie has become in front of the camera. Natasha, I loved thd black evening gown with your leg displayed á la Angelina Jolie. I feel it should be given its own hashtag of #Natalies leg. Your respect for my little country and that we’re also from military families warms the cockles of my heart. I always enjoy your content. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
Bless you both, for recognising the depth of service and unprecedented dedication of this strong woman with the sparkling eyes and smile. There are, sadly, so many pathetic, twisted, haters in the world nowadays on soapboxes they do not at all deserve.
I'm an ex serviceman for the UK amd also served alongside US forces. We share so much and brothers in arms. I cannot explain why but I would have put my Queen behind me and put myself in harms way. Its an irrational thought but to give your life for another is strange. But above all, we loved our commander in chief. Thank you for this video and also for your continued love for our tiny (but great) nation lol. By the way, if and or when you decide to travel to the UK, you have our place to stay. We can show you our country and its diversity. Again, thank you. ❤
Thank you so much for honouring such a remarkable woman. It’s such a shame that we as a nation are not doing anything to commemorate such and amazing lady. So through you we will commemorate and temper her ❤
I still expect to see the Queen and Prince Philip. It's so hard to accept they're gone. Watching this with you helped me to shed some tears because of your own appreciation, belief in and love for her. Thank you.
The first time The Royal family appeared on the balcony at Buckingham Palace was hard as it felt like there was someone missing (and PP too) who has always been in the centre spot yet sought no particular 'limelight' as such.
@@susanashcroft2674 Yes. As is often the case with such long marriages, she didn't last long without her rock beside her. Seeing her sitting in the church alone broke my heart.
A fitting tribute Ladies, and sincere as ever. Her Majesty leaves a profound impression of resolution and warmth across the globe. How we wish it could continue. I missed half of it. Caught part on my phone. I will watch it all on my I pad. It’s hard to believe it’s a year since our Queen passed away. I went to London the day after her passing . It was a pre booked trip back in April. I celebrated my birthday in London. I went to St. Paul’s cathedral on the Sunday for a service of celebration. Thanks for the video.
Thank you both! What a lovely tribute to our late Queen Elizabeth. You words brought a tear to my eyes and a lump in my throat, not just for the tribute, but the personal message you gave out to us all. Thanks! From a fan of you both, from the UK. Take care of yourselves. ❤
When her eyes smiled the world smiled too 😢 Thank you Your Majesty ❤ always! Thanks also ladies, a beautifully put together testimony to a great women. God save the King ❤

I'm so sorry I won't be able to join you live for this but I'll be at work before you go live. I'll make sure to watch it as soon as I get home and have found some tissues as I know I'll need them. Thank you in advance for your wonderful tributes to our beloved and much missed Queen.
I can not believe it is 1 year since her passing. My father was in the army for most of my childhood, and he was honoured to serve her. She was a lovely lady who served us all of her life. Beautiful video to remember her life ❤️

It was very traditional for many British families to gather around the television or radio at 3:00pm on Christmas Day to watch or listen to Her Majesty The Queen address the nation with her Christmas speech. Christmas Day last year just didn't seem the same without the Queen. Thank you both Natasha & Debbie for your heartfelt tribute here. Thank You.
A perfect tribute to an amazing woman who was loved by so many, such a great loss to the world the essence of what a real leader looks like and a blue print on how to act as a leader RIP Your Majesty

Sorry ladies I over slept. Thank you for this wonderful tribute to The Queen the year has passed so quickly. You know I'd like to thank you both. I started watching your channel interested in an American view of all things British. I had no idea that watching your channel would ignite a sense of pride and patriotism that I'm ashamed to say wasn't incredibly strong inside me. Sometimes people always focus on the bad aspects of history instead of celebrating the good and it tends to drag you down to nothing but negativity, so much so that for a long time I never felt I had the right to say I was proud to be British, I just never felt I could say it. I can honestly say now with my hand on my heart that I am proud to British and always will be. Your heartfelt tributes to our serving and fallen military and to Queen Elizabeth have been incredibly moving and very much appreciated. Thank you both again 🇺🇲❤🇬🇧

Thank you from Australia 🇦🇺. I miss her 🥰
Thank you can't believe it's been 1 year as it still feel like she is with us, I'm sure watching over us but I am ever so happy to have within my lifetime as there will never be anyone else like the magnificent Elizabeth II
Watching this again... so good ! Love you girls 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much for honouring such a remarkable woman. It’s such a shame that we as a nation are not doing anything to commemorate such and amazing lady. So through you we will commemorate and temper her ❤
Thank you very much natasha and Debbie for the lovely tribute to our beautiful late queen 🇬🇧❤️🇺🇸
Loving the tribute to our late queen, she is sadly missed and was a true legend❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
My Grandpa was a grenadier guard
@@margaretnicol3423 Same here, that lonely figure head bowed in grief, it was awful to see. Best wishes.
Miss her terribly, can only imagine how her family must be feeling, rip your Majesty and thankyou
Happy 1st Accession day everyone, send him Victorious, happy and Glorious , long to reign over us, God Save The King. ❤❤❤❤

I can not believe it is 1 year since her passing. My father was in the army for most of my childhood, and he was honoured to serve her. She was a lovely lady who served us all of her life. Beautiful video to remember her life ❤️

You girls are always so respectful ❤
Thanks
Thank YOU ❤️
It was very traditional for many British families to gather around the television or radio at 3:00pm on Christmas Day to watch or listen to Her Majesty The Queen address the nation with her Christmas speech. Christmas Day last year just didn't seem the same without the Queen.
Thank you both Natasha & Debbie for your heartfelt tribute here.
Thank You.
I think someone put together a video with clips from all the Christmas messages which her late Majesty made.
Beatuiful tribute, I'm still crying ❤👑 Never forget
A perfect tribute to an amazing woman who was loved by so many, such a great loss to the world the essence of what a real leader looks like and a blue print on how to act as a leader RIP Your Majesty
Many Thanks.💗👍
You Girl's are Outstanding, thank you for the content you have produced on this video. Queen Elizabeth II will always be greatly missed world wide.
Oh I just watched your video from a year ago with the Queens funeral! It was so sad, beautiful and respectful 😢
I miss her so much, what a woman ! ALL the forces clearly held her in utter respect! rightly so
They had a tv series about Simon following his journey from being a severely burned young man to civilian life. He is remarkable, the series is tough to watch. I watch it with tears.
@ pathopewell1814 - there is a documentary still available on YT by VHS Wonderland called Simon’s War 1/3. It’s just over an hour long😊
I would like to thank you both for the respect and the kindness that you have paid to our beloved Queen. It’s hard to think that it is 1 year already. Thanks for the video girls. 🇬🇧❤️🇺🇸
Thank you for all your hard work. I will be watching live . I'll make sure my tissues will be close by . R.I.P queen elizabeth II
Sorry ladies I over slept. Thank you for this wonderful tribute to The Queen the year has passed so quickly. The pride in her face for the forces is seen every time there is a parade and the pride in the faces of those who served when the met her is amazing. She is greatly missed but will never be forgotten. Thank you once again for this tribute to a beautiful lady inside and out.❤
Cant beleive its been 1 year she is so sadly missed im so proud to be british 🇬🇧🇬🇧& you have a wonderful lady as our late queen that served her country for 70 yrs 👑👑👑😪😪😪😪🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
1 Year? if only u knew! lol
Ladies, thank you for this most beautiful and sensitive of tributes.
