Imagine if the descendants of these little buggers became the dominant flying animals during the Cretaceous, instead of pterosaurs, and grew to gargantuan sizes. The “Dragons: A Fantasy Made Real” mockumentary would’ve been a real thing. At least when it came to the prehistoric dragon segment.
@@dubuyajay9964 So far it’s just called “Priad” which is the name of the planet that the series takes place on. It’s a seedworld with animals from a bunch of different eras in earths history all thrown together at one time and have evolved in the new biosphere that they have found themselves in, along with humans from various civilizations and cultures that were transported much later from their various golden ages, through some time travel shenanigans. But that’s just a drop, remember the dragons descended from Ambopteryx? Yeah, the descendants of the Aztecs have domesticated them and use the for war, travel and burden mounts. The Khanate Horde have domesticated terror birds for mounts as the region they were transported to had no other descent options (some but not many). There’s so much more lore, like the Eridani, the magic system, called “Lumina”, the Luminous War, the Chymeras, Darkstone. Ask away, I have a discord but it’s bare bones.
Heard my name. So naturally I gotta take a look. Oh and I'm a brightly colored feathered snake not a dragon which may or may not have had wings. Cause if I did i would have been a Wyvern which is a type of dragon :P
It's honestly pretty funny to think that the membrane wings which has become go-to stapple for flying and gliding tetrapods alike ended up being sort of an evolutionary dead end for dinosaur lineage while the feather-winged ones succeeded Nature truly worked in a mysterious way
We were this close 🤏of having actual flying non avian dinosaurs.😔
Then in an alternate universe:
We were this close to having non-saurian flying dinosaurs 🤏
But at least we are close to each other. By the way: ua-cam.com/video/fe75Gnv28sU/v-deo.htmlsi=h8kL6ON1J5Vg_9nA
But I want non flying flying non flying umm... animals

I would love some speculative evolutions of these animals if they were to survive to the present.
New Bird Wyvern for MH Wilds is crazy
A Real Wyvern, WOW.
I’d imagin that give it a fer million years later and would’ve evolved i to a full flying dragon!
immenso a voi e un abbraccio grandissimo a questa piccola
Ambopteryx is the evolutionary ancestor of the dragons in my book series.
What book!?
@@abdussabur2930 it’s quite the explanation really….
@@aaronbeckett0714 What...book...?

Makes you wonder if there was a more direct fossil origin back in the day

@@90zillas34 It's a good form of medium to communicate with. :P
I'd sooner call it a cockatrice than a wyvern, considering the size and feathers.
👍For the algorithm... and the DINOS! 👍
Your videos are pretty interesting and funny KEEP IT UP

I think all flying reptiles or dinos should be dragons.right?
On the positive side, the little wyvern didn't witness the K-T extinction event.
Wyvern? No. Cockatrice? Yes.
Our real dragon was adorable
Hey could you make a video about Yi-qi turning into real dragons LOL
Hold up I actually draw something like that
A avian with bat like wings😮
I allso think about this species
