Can't Stop Laughing Smh
yup
Quick, give this man the award for the poshest pronunciation of the phrase "HD" ever. . .
his glasses are super magnified haha, but he is a sick filmer. mad props to this guy, good tips too
That dog looks awesome!
that doggo is a real good boi
My mans explains fisheye shots like butter..
Is it me or are his eyes like huge with those glasses?
👁👄👁
@Sk8ersOnly hey don't offend me like that
@Sk8ersOnly i don't even have a tik tok fuck off
Hes wearing fisheyes on his eyes
@@doloresberry3144 😂
nice tip about rotating from behind the lens rather than the back of the camera, will try and do that more!
These videos are amazing! He explains everything really well.
because vx's produce what most, including myself, think is the best look for skating. It's the perfect camera, and the mk1 is the widest and most popular fisheye out there.
Because it captures more than your eye can see, which is great for getting close, whilst still capturing the skater, board, and a lot of the surroundings.
Cool. Came here after stumbling across the documentary DIG! The filmmaker used a lot of fish eye lenses and a VX1000.
this guy knows what he's talking about. that vx footy is amazing.
after all these in focus videos i have alot more respect for filmers
Mike "The Professor" Manzoori - great tips Mike!
3:04 how close he passed the board by his head
My homie kicked out on a gap when I was filming him and it almost nailed me in the face twice in a row
i also looked at that but he isnt that close to the skater it just look like it bcs its filmed from a little behind the filmer
i respect filmers so much, good filming is essential..
If you are looking to film skateboarding I would suggest a GoPro camera. It's fairly cheap and you get a lot of stuff in the frame (because it's a fisheye), which is good for skateboarding. But if you are planning to film when it's dark you shouldn't go for a GoPro because they suck in low-light, but when it's a sunny day or if you have a lot of lighting the footage looks great :)
Pretty cool vid about fish eyes! Thx ride channel you're the best skateboarding channel ever!
Nah thrasher is the best
Great tutorial, rule of the thirds makes a trick look soo much better
Dude is brave as hell with the skate in de face yo. Nice video learned a lot.
You probably want to go with a DSLR. Canon and Nikon both make great cameras, but Canon's really shine over the Nikons when it comes to videos which is what we use them for. The Rebel T2i with Opteka fisheye is a popular choice
Mike Manzoori is a genius. I just uploaded a video called 4 tips for filming lines with a fisheye that goes really well with this video.
subtle advertising....nice
+LibertyzHD "subtle"
a VX1 tutorial would be great eg settings etc. for certain lightings. i personally understand how to use them through trial and error but it took me a while to get to grips with it when i first got it
great! now i love those videos again. That´s general in my opinion and it helps EVERBODY!!
This literally just changed the way I think about filming.
Having an editing program like Final Cut that shows the audio signatures of the clips and the song really helps.
best episode of "in focus" for sure!
this guy knows whats up
Because you get alot more of the shot, like the suroundings, plus the skater, and alot more reasons. Personally, I think it looks really cool also
Props to mike for filming damn!
Damn.. both top comments on this guys' glasses. Show some fucking respect, I thought skaters had a bit more manners. I guess not much separates us from those bully jocks, right?
Yes, that's what I need, more stable footage! Good lesson.
Hey when are you guys going to do the comparison video between a fisheye on a HD camera and one on a SD camera like the VX. I would imagine it would have alot to do with aspect ratio?
Favorite part of mondays!
Very happy I found this.
hey thanks for the last tip, it was that I looking for
Hi Mike,
I was wondering if you can recommend a decent LED light, mic, handle, and monitor?
I just got a new dslr and im looking to get all the bells and whistles. Budget price range. Just trying to get started and experiment.
Thanks man! I love your video series
i will always love VX footage over HD footage
Really helpful as Iam starting out with a fisheye
Your that dude.. thanx for the tips on filming.
the pivoting round the lens thing is a good tip
Yes i know this, but to me HD is alot more pleasing for the eye. You can also be alot more creative with HD imo. HD also looks alot more proffesinal.
I like this video I did a Historical town drive in Fisheye lens.
This was very helpful, I just got a Dvx mk2 and it's is dope!
He is very good at Filming!!!
Put something on how to film lines and keeping the camera steady with a camcorder like t3i or hdr cx 160
This is really awesome advice, wish I would have had this when learning to film with our stolen VX back in the day
Very nice tutorial!
Great video!
These are great tips, well explained. Thanks!
Those glasses make him look like a cartoon character, I actually like it lol

Thank you for posting the video!
Great video! Really helped! and what camera and lens did you use too film the smith kickflip out? ( 4:35 - 4:41 )
he practises all the time with his glasses :D
these tips are tight!
the vibe emanating from this dude is just awesome. Imagine the shit those mars seeking eyes of his have seen!
whoa.... i own a shoulder mount camcorder can i use it for skateboarding video??
Nice tips, but i can spot blure in this footage near to edge round, maybe the lens is not correct or what can be ?
Great tips!
vx1-mk1 will always be the best!
Please make an Video with The Vx1000 Mk1: How to film Lines !
I talked with you at woodward. Thanks for the tips
thanks for the tips, more tips please
More vids with mike !
How would you protect the glass of the front element of the fish-eye. If I have a 8-15 Canon I wouldn't like it getting hit by a board.
this is why i like monday!!!
Golden Doodle FTW!
Great tips thanks!
This changed me.
@4:01 omg criss cross
really good tutorial
Thanks for those tips
Nice video perpect to learn thanks
Not sure if anyone reads these anymore, but I film with an hvx200a, and I used a .04 opteka fisheye, and I want to get more of a fisheye-ey look, any tips or ways to do this. I heard like spacer rings and stuff but I’m not sure
does it looks faster too if you film lines with a fisheye??
sorry for bad english
Who is the skater? Nice style
what mount is that called on the canon camera?
Can u guys do a how to export vx footy to get the best quality
Wow, I had no idea Opteka fisheyes were that cheap! 25$ for a fisheye for sony camcorders, that's a pretty good price. But are they any good though?
I would like to watch a film made using fisheye lens.
A first person point of view, like REC the film, but with fisheye lens.
Go pro dude 1st person plus fisheye
I know this comment is old lol but you should watch Enter the Void, highly recommend
thanks for the tips !!
Very helpfull thanks bro!
alright once i get money ill try it myself thanks :)
Very helpful!
OMG,he loves the fisheye lens, to use in your glasse...
this guy has got some major lenses on his eyes!
How about a video on how to sync the music with the skating?
Nice videos Mike :D
What's the brand and model of the T2i fisheye lens that appears at the begining?
props guy.
