THANKSGIVING MAKEUP WITH THE NATASHA DENONA MINI METROPOLIS PALETTE

Firstly, I want to thank everyone for the love and support lately - thank you for entering my giveaways and I wish I was able to send everyone something. Secondly, today I am playing with the Natasha Denona palette which was part of one of the advent calendars. I love Natasha Denona's minis, they always have a good pay off and considering how expensive the big palettes are, these are not that bad in price. (Great gift for someone who loves makeup). This one doesn't disappoint. It is nicely pigmented and I like the wide range of colours. I can think of multiple looks with this - from daytime to night time. There is only ONE thing that shocks me; it has a lot of kick back, so I highly recommend doing the eyes first. Even the shimmer applied with the finger caused a lot of fall out onto my undereye/cheek area, which is a shame. The results are fantastic; so I always think it's worth it, but at this price range, they should really consider not having those little issues.
Today's makeup look is very simple and you can substitue these shades, by using many different palettes.
One that immidately comes to mind is Soph x Revolution (first) palette.
bPerfect carnival palettes (all) have these are similar shades in them.
Or if you're on a budget, elf bite size mini palette in Orange Dreamsicle with a little bit of brown from I love you a Latte. (I hear these are really good, but I haven't tried them yet).
