Honestly with the jokey nature that the main character sometimes acts along with the genuinely interesting background lore that's shown through context clues throughout the game, a Deadcells anime would actually be a really cool concept

As someone who has played the game for 100 hours, can confirm. You can feel like a badass for prolly half the run then die to the slightest dumb shit, like dying from the worm eggs when you crash down on a platform
A rogue-like anime would be really cool. Like the mc can't die and has to repeat everything over and over, could be really interesting.

Well, Dead Cells Already Has A Serious Plot Like Dark Souls But With Jokes And This Type Of Animation Will make That Almost A Masterpiece Anime
I mean it fits the monster isakai genre, spider dayo, and that time I got reincarnated as a slime are also comedy with serious plot. And as for dead cells (spoilers) the king gets “reincarnated” as the homunculus which is able to possess corpses, making it a “monster” also the plot is deep enough to make at least a season out of. I think it’s a fun idea and would be something good to monopolize off of.

I would like to point out the fact motion twin added an 8 bit cover of their entire sound track for absolutely no reason and it’s just in the settings chilling. I mean the vast majority of the player base doesn’t even know it exists and most who do know don’t use it. Motion Twin literally did it just because they could and I respect the heck out of them for it.
(The covers are by Valmont btw)
Motion twin is developing the game to be somethin they love to play, using the playerbase as Guinea pigs.
And I'd have it no other way.

Thank you! It took me about 2 days. I loooove it when things go along with beat, so picking a scene that I think fit with the beat/lyrics/story is the most time consuming part (or maybe I'm just a slow worker lol).

Ok, so I'm huge Dead Cells fan and I love what you did with the trailers ❤️ I don't know the anime the song is from and I watched the Overlord intro after reading some comments. Holy shit, dude, your vid is far better. You picked pitch perfect song for the right king of animation style. The beat fits perfectly, the animation from the trailers is faster and more vivid than from the original anime opening which fits way better the song better. I mean, perfection. You truly made better fake anime intro than the actual anime intro.

Also, this is structured like an actual Anime Intro: You have the introduction of the Main Character and their annoying partner, the tears because of something that happens later in the show, the evil characters are shown and finally, fast fighting skills
