Thank you for these wonderful techniques and meal ideas. I would also urge people to grow food as much as possible, even sharing land with family if needed. Growing things like beans that can be used fresh and also left to dry on the plant so that they last for years. Also other plants that can be used to make more canned goods for storing.

I"m watching from Flora Vista, New Mexico, USA. I LOVE your recipes! I have a pressure canner but don't need to use it with your recipes. I use pint or quart jars (adjusting the processing time) and put a lot of food up for the winter and lean times, or to just have something quick to eat. FAR better than store bought. I think the commercial companies of late have forgotten how to cook.
