The inline filter is supposed to protect the turbo if the engine goes bad but it can clog up and cause the turbo to go bad. I don’t use one, if my engine had bearing failure I would just clean my turbo out. If it’s really bad the bearing material will destroy the turbo and the filter will protect that from debris.

What do you think of running a inline filter on the turbo oil feed line ❓
