That's a good way to describe their sound, really. LOL. Lyrics and overall sound got darker to the point of being creepy (Tear, especially)

I love this shit. It took me a while to get used to the vocals, but once I did I'm fucking in it.
Even if i can't get warm with his vocals soundwise, they're still kinda attracting. And the energy of their songs keeps hooking me into them. And i fucking love their instrumentals.

It was an actual learning curve to get into these guys because of the vocals, but I got really used to it and I enjoy the band as a whole now. I always thought they at the "it" factor to make it big, but now I truly enjoy everything single song they release.

Not only did I feel this deep in them Ghibli giblets, the chord progression and eerieness of the chorus instantly makes me feel like I'm back in 1998 hearing Integrity for the first time and being blown away. So heavy and evil it's almost apocalyptic.

Is anybody else getting Glass Cloud vibes? That guitar tuning and some of their chunky parts sound very similar to them imo. Overall their last few songs have been 🔥

With Knocked Loose i absolutely love their song formula and that what i like most in this song is how they managed to make the breakdown sooo bouncy and groovy when still beeing stupid heavy!
It is simular to blinding faith but it still managed to be fresh and fun to me!!
I do think that the album will have aoty potential if they bring something different in it wich i feel they will most likely 🧐 I have the vinyl preorderd already so it Will be fun to see what they might come up with!
Really hoping they dont release to many singles before the album, i know that the music industry is leaning more towards singles now because of algoritms on the different platforms leading to it spreading more but for me that really sucks!
I LOVE the anticipation of an album, waiting for the day it finally releases and hearing all the brand new bangers!
I also like when bands only release 2-3 songs on the album before the realease so that you get 5-7 brand new songs on the album instead of maybe 3-4 :P
The best albums tho are the complete surprises that just drop without any warning!!

The clean guitar tone bit in the bass and drum break sounded pretty out of place to me, other than that love the song - also snare drum is a bit too overpowering in my opinion - but a solid 8/10 - just my opinion!

Part of my issue with them is they are in-between metalcore and deathcore. Too heavy to be pure metalcore but not heavy enough to be death metal. So they have to be extremely detailed and unique to keep my interest.

I don't really get why people keep bringing up Boundaries when they're talking about Knocked Loose, maybe I'm completely missing the connection but the bands sound nothing alike. Unless were just talking about bands dropping solid new stuff recently, but one is a heavy metalcore band and the other is hardcore as it gets, am I missing something?

I know what you mean. That style of scream can work tho if other things are also happening.( I.e. wider vocal range, unique instrumentals, more raw emotion) I personally don't see any of those things from these guys.
There's so many bands out there doing unique and innovative things in the metal world, it's really hard for some people to get excited about knocked loose

It's not an unpopular opinion, Ive read it a million times, and it's completely ok. I didn't really like it the first time I listened to them, but it was the the lyrics in "A tear in the fabric of life" that really got me, but after some rime I realized that I liked it so much partly because Bryan's voice is really effective at portraying feelings of anguish and desperation. It's still completely ok if you don't like it though, art is subjective in the end

I love their instrumentals but this would be so much better with a lower voiced deathcore kinda vocalist. I’m just not personally a fan of the screamo style. Sounds like a teenager yelling at his mom.
Put a vocalist like Alex terrible in here and you have some disgustingly good music here.

Hot Take: This song is a miss for me, but not by much. It starts off great and ends great, but I get bored in the chorus and find the tempo changes don't sit well. It makes me want to skip to the next song.
Usually every song is an instant save for me, just not this one.
I still think Boundaries Tops this Album but hoping its close for all our entertainment.

However, stating Boundaries is boring is a wild take. I get not getting into a band, but theyre more creative than Knocked Loose.

Very generic as i said only 1 song i saved to my spotify list pale light lingers or something, it was good i loved that, others, meh. Also boundaries vocalist sounds dry as fuck i dont like it. Sry. For me knocked loose are miles above boundaries.

@pprojectz1644 Boundaries hits the taste of that old metalcore, which an older guy like myself probably vibes with more. But the creative guitar in the Invent Animate feature, the switch ups from heavy to catchy, to me, make them very good at what theyre doing.
Doesnt have to be out of the ordinary and never done before to be creative.
