    San Quentin isn’t a jail. It’s a prison. Big difference. Why do journalists always get this wrong. Jail is a ‘pre sentence’ detention facility. Prisons are for sentences of time (usually over a year) for convictions to be served. Yes, a defendant can be sentenced to jail time, but it’s still jail. There is no Death Row in jail.

    • @themonsterbaby
      @themonsterbaby 3 дні тому

      Difference in sentencing is felony or misdemeanor. Felony sentences are served in prison.

    Wow. I was born and raised in San Francisco, used to hang out on Mt. Tam all the time in 70'-71' and now I live adjacent to Big Basin State Park in Santa Cruz County. I knew about him but not the complete story and locations. He'd be 93 now; that's a long life for a person who cut so many others' short. Glad he was caught; sad he existed at all.

    I'd definitely would love to visit, or live in San Francisco. From seeing the city in many movies, the likes of the classic show starring a young Michael Douglas, "Streets of San Francisco" the city looks very interestingly cool. From the insane way the houses built on big hills all over, to the street cars / trolleys, its beautiful. I'm from Chicago which itself is a beautiful city. I would love to visit tons of cities all over the world. How nice that would be if one would be able to do it. If i ever get a windfall, like win the lottery or something, that's the first thing I'd do, likely to live life traveling the globe.
