@@WindDancer435 in his case,then,reverse personification.
@@WindDancer435it is arguable that Carpenter is inhuman and as such the usage of personification fits in this instance.
@@WeWillAlwaysHaveVALIS You obviously didn't pay attention in English Literature class because you are 100% incorrect and do not understand the word "personification"!

John Douglas of offender profile fame was involved in this. I am writing this at the beginning of this documentary - sorry if mentioned later.
Stumbled upon this case unknowingly. I have a planned sporting event up near Mt Tam upcoming. Ugghh,... these monsters.
This is up there with my other all time favourites. Unsolved Mysteries. FBI Files etc.
Love this show !!!!!!
Excellent docu
How does this have over 1k views and only 89 likes 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ come on this should have over 1k likes
I dunno what it is about UA-cam design but even I constantly forget to hit the like button. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
Why? What's wrong with some people? I just don't understand how someone can do this. Very sad, and troubling.
Don’t be so naive and blind 40:54
Luckily we don’t understand it……
@eilsmile8732 so true. Fortunate we have certain members of government that do understand that. Enables them to be caught. So very sad that someone can do that.
Wow the detectives hair, as for the killer should of been given the death sentence asap sick twisted b...ard.
I lived in mil valley and went to tamalpais high school 1978-79 , I remember seeing the flyers warning hikers of impending danger complete with photo/description . The flyers were dispersed all over Marin county.
Great program, and well done, thanks
I lived in Bay Area at that time and loved to hike in the hills and open space. I kept an eye out for this freak that's for sure...
I hike with a very long, large, sharp blade attached to my calf and sticks with a sharp point. I was hiking with a group in a park as a kid and we heard an unholy scream. A ranger came out of nowhere and said they were looking for the screamer and told us to leave the park. A week later, a pre teen boy was found wired to a tree. He was mutilated. That was not a ranger. He was the killer. He got 3 more boys. Then it stopped.
Thank you for sharing this story with us. I truly enjoy your channel ❤ Keep the true crime story times coming! Sending love and channel support from southeast Kentucky ❤
Another Kentucky lady who enjoys true crime shows? Lol. I’m also from there. London Ky to be exact but I now live just outside the metro Atlanta area.
This documentary is beyond excellent!! Loved it
That was the strangest most lenient court room I've ever seen considering he was supposed to be a serial killer?!?!just hanging out six FT from the judge no cuffs
He preyed on vulnerable ppl in vulnerable positions. A coward and a weakling who would never have the guts to put himself at risk of physical harm voluntarily.
just look at the "judge" and at that killer and you shall know at once the cause of lenience.... lol
@@Maximilian0011 The "you shall know at once" gave you away
Have never watched this crime documentary before, extremely happy I stumbled upon it,fantastic! Haven't looked yet but I'm assuming it's a series, hope so!
22 years after the murders they made this program... 22 yrs later I'm watching it ... "Tiiimmmee... Why you,.. punish meeeee"! (Hooty n Blowfish voice)
Wow, this was really well produced. That investigator is awesome at narration.
Great work on part of the cops 👮♀️
great work of that guy living after getting shot you mean
"Why does this have to happen?" Yes, the most horrible part of it all is that there is no "meaning", no reason: it's all happenstance. Why did a wolf catch that particular deer and not another?
If it were methodical it would be logical. Everything in life could be construed as happenstance, including your birth. This guy had some severe psychopathy going on. He is not the first serial killer, and he was and will not be the last.
Male entitlement.
I miss listening to the ORIGINAL Narrator. Makes me wanna stay and watch till the end.
The fact that the investigators didn’t use gloves is despicable.
Excellent episode! Real narrative, real detectives telling the story. First rate investigators.
He must have a lot of hate towards women in general...you wonder why adult males who live with their moms or parents turn out to be serial killers/abusers !🙆🙆 RIP victims 😭💔💔💔
Well researched
This all would kever have happened if he was never let out of prison after his first rapes and kidnapping, its just rediculous!!!
This was a really good doc
They really mangled the fact pattern. He ran, he had a through and through in the lunge. Killer chased him and panicked when he chased him to a group of people and didn't have enough bullets. And the car was very distinct a vw like french car, very rare.
the first drawing for the wanted poster looks like mike meyers
Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted in Jesus name Amen. Justice comes for us all.
Good presentation
the detective is a movie star!
