Brother! That plastic piece is a battery spacer there's a screw on the bottom to take it out. They put that there so you don't have all that slop while running 2s. Take out the screw that's on the chassis plate and the spacer bar comes right out.
Yes after trying to rip that piece out with force I realized there's this one little screw holding that anti-slop spacer in for 2s packs😂🤣👍💯👊

I’m just the opposite of you I’m pretty much into Crawlers I do have bashers but I haven’t been out because they needed to be worked on but then I got the new Rlaarlo mini basher it’s a blast & flat out moves for it’s size but that got me fired back up so was able to get my Mojave & Fireteam back up & running. Today a new middle dif came in for my Lasernut & now that’s running after sitting for way to long. I’ve got a new 6s battery coming tomorrow so I’ll be out with the the Fireteam & Mojave this weekend but tomorrow I’m taking the Lasernut & Rlaarlo out for some runs. It’s nice to be back & hauling A$$ again I’ve learned a lot working on them & repairing them when they break. If your going to buy these RC’s you better get good at repairing them & upgrding them. Can’t wait to see ya run that thing it’s a bit pricey but it’s body is amazing &. Chassis & electronics are nice. Can’t wait to get out.
I lovr this body styje I have it on my UDR again a Pro-Line product I also got the clear body as the Black bodies are flimsy I split it first run out the clear body I did it as a work in progress cab silver one door matte black the feint fender's and hood white as if it was not been sprayed as per both rear fenders ongoing build..
There is a screen in the middle of the battery compartment that you can take out to remove the plastic insert on they battery comes on the original baja rey.check the middle of the battery compartment on the bottom side .I run a spectrum 5000 in my original baja rey

I use 1080 @30 for studio stuff then I go 1080@60 for action I only ever go to 2k slow motion for short stuff to catch a jump or something like that the Gopro due to the nature that its waterproof gets hot running high frame rates its good for short clips but for studio work you might be happy at 1080@30
I dying for Horizon to finally ship mine. I fully intend on doing the whole Vitavon treatment to it and doing a Max 8G2 4S motor on it. I already have the motor, esc is on order, and I have a Reefs 500 for it. Order up what Vitavon has for it so far.

I use the blue tooth in the tx to set end points, or change it to a traxxas tqi tx and rx, which works better than the Spektrum junk
Just got mine today. Mine wobbles in reverse, and reverse is very slow. Watch the ring under two of the screws were the motor access is, mine was warped and my pinion as screaming. Took it off and found it bent! No QC at all. I hope someone comes up with a magnet system for the body. Screws are a PITA!

This thing drives FLUIDLY
That’s the same size battery compartment as the Baja Rey 1/10th scale and I got 3 of them and I run 3s in 2 of them and a 6s in my other one but that one is highly modified. Also if you read all the paperwork that comes with the truck it’ll tell you that you have to remove that block inside the battery compartment area in order to use a 3s battery. Dude, you’re RC Guy Garage! I know you know how to fit a 3s in there. A 3s does fit easily in there. Love your video brother but come on I know that you know how to get it in there even if you didn’t read all the paperwork also I would use the Radiolink controller. I have them on all my RC’s and to be totally honest I find that they are way more reliable than Spectrum radios plus they come with gyros built in.👍👍👍💯💯💯🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🙂🙂🙂

There is a screw to remove which allows you to run bigger batteries, on the underside of the chassis above the battery compartment which allows you to remove the plastic from inside the battery compartment if that makes sense

@@dstjamesrc6395 It is sharp and that's a definite but I was more thinking along the lines of how it performs versus how the Traxxas performs The Traxxas does perform really well but it's a different drive. The Losi performs like an actual desert truck and I love that The Traxxas performs like an extended better version of a slash and I also like that for what it does

I've driven both and they do not compare. The TRAXXAS can bash harder due to it being that slash platform. This Losi is smooth running and quiet and is a driver's RC. Both are great they just offer a different feel behind the wheel.
@rcguygarage sounds good. I figured since they're both around the same price and both raptors someone would compare them. I'd take the baja rey. If I wanted a 4wd basher I'd buy an arrma 3s blx platform vehicle and save 200 bucks.

These are Anki Vector originals from 2018 unfortunately I cannot recommend the company that sells them now in the version 2 or any that have been programmed by that company.
