Part 5 installing the limit magnets in the SL600AC

Hello all ROb here, Here is the last video on my New sliding gate opener SL 600 AC. The is a low cost remote controlled electric sliding gate opener.. In this video I an installing the limit switches. These are strong magnets that stop the gate where you need it to be stopped at. This SL 600 AC electric sliding gate opener cost about 200 bucks and I installed it in about 3 hours. SO far it works very well. It makes driving in and out of the carport very easy now.

I just installed a sliding gate opener for a friend. I also have problems with the magnet 🧲 limit switches. Getting the gate to stop. Very helpful video. And honestly I recommend the the type that has a toggle that the gate hits and shutoff the motor.

Get your self a pair of mini limit switches and mount them on each side of the gate motor. Use them instead of the magnets

Magnets clamp to the chain , the brackets are set up for direct attachment to chain.

How did you set up the auto timer thing to close it?

it should have 3 dip switches on the board... 2,3 are fir the timer.. both off. timer off... other sequence set the timer to 15, 30 or 45sec timer

Hello friend I have a question to ask you I have a similar gate opener like yours it opens it closes but one problem when the gate opens it stops where it has to stop but the motor just keeps on going and going the motor does not want to stop unless I click on the stop button on the remote can you give me a tip am I doing something wrong with the settings

Next time when you make a video , do it a little be slower, hurt the eyes, give a couple seconds in the part you're doing, you're moving so much and fast de cell phone...
