ANC councilors in KZN are even resigning from their posts just to hurt the ANC without publicly joining MK. IFP gains are short lived.

Let's try to understand this, Zuma, not long ago, supposed to be legally put in the jail. @Alec Hogg & @Biznews Thanks for a very insightful interview. One thing thats missing in the channels serving mainly 'white' listeners / viewers is critical examination of the negative impact that John Steenhuisen's persona & verbosity has on the majority of the electorate; analysts, journos and commentators etc seem to be as tone deaf to this as the DA leadership themselves.
The DA manifesto launch was a high note and JS generally managed this well but in-between he grates too many of the potential DA voters who adamantly and publicly state they as long as he is the face of the DA they will never vote DA.
Why do none of the DA leaning media fraternity take on this issue? its costing the DA and the country because the DA's track record in government is still better than most of the other parties.
What do we call this?. Zuma revenge or the new realty of the ANC.

The difference between KZN and WC the DA guy clearly concedes they have no chance and even accept MK is a force to be reckoned with. On WC Coloureds are 42% he confidently dismiss PA who by his choice of words fish only in the Coloured community the 3 dominant race groups in WC at 5%. That is how sure he is his Coloureds will serve their master. Imagine claiming to be one of the dominant demographics at 18%. A minority by anyone's maths whether it is Zuma or Steenhuisen maths. This is positive news, even though it still appears that the ANCrim government will rig its party (and the EFFluence) back into government during this 2024 selection, perchance with Jacob's help even though he founded an opposition party vs the ANCommunist party government. I think that it is necessary for the ANCEFF to lose as soon as possible because South Äfricä's economic freedom is dropping and it will continue to drop as long as the ANCEFF have any power and authority.
My estimate is the ANC will get 38% support in the national election.

I fully agree, but then again, we don't expect the DA campaign manager to speak well of EFF prospects. We'll listen to IPSOS for now. If SRC election results are anything to go by, the black youth resonate very well with the policies of the EFF.
Remember everyone who was at Moses Mabhida stadium for the manifesto launch was a registered KZN voter of the EFF, DA don't have capacity to organize like that in KZN.
