- In his latest weekly Sunday show with BizNews, Neil de Beer, the President of the United Independent Movement (UIM), talks about the looting that is being exposed by ministers in the Government of National Unity (GNU); and dissects the coalition battles on provincial and local level where, in some places, old foes of the African National Congress (ANC) - like ActionSA and the Freedom Front Plus - have shunned the Democratic Alliance (DA). De Beer also describes the “Rocky Horror Show” in former President Jacob Zuma’s MKP; discusses the likelihood of MK becoming the official opposition in the next election; and warns that should VP Paul Mashatile become President, “you are going to see fireworks in this country and change to the horrific sight that you have never seen”. De Beer highlights successes in the fight against crime, but expresses concern about a "massive" manpower drain from SAPS, as well as rumoured “massive” exits from the military - especially of Special Forces operatives. “...if we're losing these people, apparently to private contractors, to private security and apparently to political conclaves, we are in trouble.” In conclusion, he gives his take on Robert F Kennedy dropping out of the US Presidential race to endorse former President Donald Trump.

@GeorgeMosenthal The DA does not steal public money like the ANC does! Instead, the DA spends public money honestly and properly, on maintaining and building new infrastructure for our Country and on delivering better quality basic services to the people.
Poor people depend heavily on government services because they cannot afford to replace them with private ones, like middle class and rich people can.
Where these services are properly provided, poor people benefit the most since their quality of life improves dramatically!

It seems to me that the corruption in South Africa is More problematic in the bureaucracy rather than the cabinet ministers, like lawyers fleecing 100 billion in fraudulent claims, like education department officials pushing through a 10 billion rand tender when no minister was around, it seems that the corruption is deep within the ranks of the government officials and the anc has been complacent in stopping this type of corruption because they were busy with their own corruption and the former type of corruption is more dangerous than the latter

Interesting factoid that most don't know, even Afrikaners (they forgot, it seems), is that "moer" are the dregs at the bottom of a coffee pot. Good for nothing and been used up, in other words. Thus, if you "moer" someone, that you are figuratively turning that person into the dregs at the bottom of the coffee pot.
Afrikaans, doesn't really have expletives, just words used figuratively. As said, even Afrikaners have forgotten this.
