As a side note, the client asked me to source / surprise them with them mods done. I used GS2 and films as well as spring swapped these. This was also my very first time using MX2A Black switches! I couldn't have been happier with the result.
I have a qk60 and I’ve tried everything to make the stabs stop ticking but it just won’t…right now I am buying a new keycap set for a new build but also to check if that is the issue…if anybody has any tips that’d be great.
I find legacy boards sounds a lot more unique and better than most modern one. I personally own 2 Kepler TKL board because the acoustic just outstanding compare to every other board these days.
It's kinda funny. After building tens of keyboards with a bunch of different switches I decided to try lubed and filmed hyperglide browns on a MKC75 and it's damn near endgame for me. You really do just end up coming back to cherry lol.
Man this looks fucking great. I'm still in the look out for something like this that would fit Wooting 60HE+ pcb/board in it. Bought Sanctuary Rebirth years back and when Diablo 4 came out, I got the Steelseries official artisan for Diablo 4 from Dwarf Factory. Kinda at the point where I just wanna get the build over with but... Been staying persistent lmao.
Hi Alex, love seeing these amazing builds! I'm thinking of starting a small keyboard business, and was wondering how much you usually charge as a service fee? Just to get a rough idea of what someone super experienced might charge, etc.

Do you prefer the mx2a over the Hyperglide?
@@ryanwatson4992 Very much so! They felt less thin
did amazing, Al!
What size films did you use?

I love seeing how legacy boards like this can still hang with modern boards even after all these years. Excellent build.
good keyboards stay good!

I recently ran out of 205g0 and picked up some carbon GS2. It should be more popular than it is. I really like it.
Out of my Four keyboards, this is my fave, Running Holy Pandas with GMK Dualshot
sounds amazing. this one's going in the playlist

Yo we need more forged carbon boards. I have been looking at forged carbon backplates but a full board looks even better.
damn, haven't seen a kepler in a while. sick board and video

Anyone know where to buy the "blue fork" that Alex is using? Thanks!
dayum that sounds schmick, gotta give mx2a x gs2 a go!

@@EricZhang-qj4um all my prices I charge are on my website! But typically around 50 dollars for the assembly, lubing of stabilizers and soldering
Someone’s gotta make a proper mx2a vs hyperglides video, I hear so many mixed opinions
How much does one usually pay to get their boards built by a streamer?
@@springpocket6941 I charge 50 dollars for assembly, soldering and stabilizer modding. And then rates vary for switches
@@alexotos o nice, and do all these boards get streamed? Or do you select unique ones only?
@@springpocket6941All of them unless the commissioner says no
I thought it’s carbon fiber
It is! I didn't know all the deets of the build itself it's a bit of an older board that I didn't quite remember too well
It is forged carbon
It’s forged carbon!
I love how the videos are getting shorter every time 😂😂😂
@@khanhtrannhat5265 not really! This is just a shorter edit, we have plenty of longer edits of the 2 hour streams!
@@alexotos ohhhh, i want to join the stream so bad now 😁
