FYI: pyjama comes from Persing words "pai" (foot or leg) + "jameh" (clothes). So, pyjama means foot clothes. This word goes to French language and then comes back to Iran with the French pronounciation. In Iran they say pizhameh.
Sounds plausible 😊
Thanks

I live in Canada only since last year, so i do not know Canadian people, as well as you do ,but i have to agree with you , about laziness and attitude of entertainment, but there is same situation in EU as well
Hey Mark... It's not only in the US or Canada that people have become complacent, this attitude has spread all across the world. People have become culturally less and less aware..
As for being sloppy and unkempt, yes, most people have become so in most countries including India. You know, they just don't care... do whatever they like not bothering much what impressions others might form about them..😅😊
As regards attitude of entitlement, people are more conscious about their rights than what their duties/ responsibilities/ contributions are....😅😊😅😅😅
Hi, in my neck of the woods people are used to wearing fashionable clothes and paying attention to their appearance. Plus I live in small town where almost all know each other, and no one who respects yourself can't afford to look sloppy. It's a kind of showing off. I noticed when I go to the mall wearing sloppy(which means I wear sportsuit bottoms and t-shirt or so), due to the Sod's law I always meet some familiar people or even worse colleagues, and feel uncomfortable. I even haven't seen here anyone throwing garbage in pajama bottoms😅 The language you've heard is russian, "da" means yes in English. Thanks a lot for your excellent lesson dear Mark. Take care!🤗
In Canada and the USA we call Sod’s law Murphy’s law. 😂
@@MadEnglishTV Thanks for letting me know🤗In Ukrainian it sounds like "the law of meanness"
Hello, Mark! Of course, those people in the background are speaking Russian. In Ukrainian there is no "Da" - they say "Tak" instead 😅 Thank you for this charming lesson, that's exactly how I feel, too!))
Thanks so much!
Mark! You are speaking my mind, as an immigrant to the US, I've been wondering for the past couple of years what's wrong with the new generation in this country why they don't even put on normal clothing (why they go to university in pajamas), why they don't act like real ladies and gentlemen, why they have no idea about other parts of the world, why they don't think America is getting worse and so on, yes, I believe the society is falling apart, though it's still a great country full of beautiful things and opportunities for those who are hardworking and resilient. Anyway, I appreciate you for bringing this essential topic to our attention, God bless you.❤
Thanks so much! God bless you too!
They are Russians but half Ukrainians speak only russian
Hi, Mark!! I would like to express my gratitude for your GREAT job!!! Always enjoy watching your videos. And I believe that you should stay in Canada. Take care!!!Alex
Thanks so much!
Mark! English is the best you don’t need to learn the other language. Thanks for English lesson I learn a lot.
Thanks! 🙏
This is Ukrainian woman speaks Russian. There was Юрчик
Hi enjoy videos with interesting subjects like this one
Good lesson on culture and English.❤ I'm surprised you speak only English. In SG, we have to learn a 2nd language (mother tongue) to appreciate the culture. I speak and write Chinese.
Hi! My wife and I are entitled to respect each other.
Take care!
I'd say the same about our country. As a teacher at school, I can tell you that most children are not interested in other cultures. I try as hard as I can, but there are few people who can get touched by new experiences.
Thank you for the video!
There were Russian people. "Da" means "yes".
Hi Mark . You know I have a friend that has been in the US many years ago and she got shocked at that time when she saw a woman in a mall wearing hair-rollers 😂😂 . Here in Italy it's forbidden to get out even in the backyard in that condition 😮 😂 . Love your videos as always ❤
😂
thank you teacher !
Great
You are entitled to recup my appreciation. I hope it's correct use of entitlement.
Hi Mark. Those people speak Russian) "Da" (Да) means yes.
"Da" 😂😂😂
Hi Mark. You can leave Canada for some period of time. You are welcome in Azerbaijan)
Mark ,many thanks .you are great. but I believe in a country with multicultural people ,wearing simple clothes is better because the difference between rich people and poor people is not visible .they seems the same ,and the other hand the culcher of consumerism is reduced
That’s a great point! 😎
Great lesson 🎉
I would probably behave similarly if I were you, Mark, and stay out of people's way, I understand that feeling. However, I think this is not necessary. People will just start passing you (us) in a normal way. I guess nothing will happen. I encourage you, let's try this. 😃
Mark, I own to you, because of your excellent competence. Also, I realize people are not proud of
I would like to give You a little warm because You are an exelente person
Hi!! Tell us please about meaning the word "Daa" in English :) I think it's negative...
Canadians are world-famous for their politeness.
I am ready to become your personal translator from Russian to English, I just need to learn English well first and get to Canada.😂😂😂
😁
I’m going to move to a small town in Alberta this summer 2024😂😂😂😂
Lots of Ukrainians speak Russian and Ukrainian at the same time:) it’s called “surzhyk”. So sometimes even I (as a Russian) cannot understand do people speak Russian or surzhyk 🙂
But here in the video I can hear Russian language
And “Da” means “yes”, “Horosho” means “Good” 😁
Alex, maybe you need to live in warm countries in winter and then return to Canada.
That's what your geese do 😂😂😂.
Yup 😁
We approach so called Muse's paradise, scientist event.
Russian language is on the background
“Da”means “big”in Chinese😊
Da is yes in Russian
Thanks, a good joke then I know you culture ( different stereotypes)…😂
Da mins yes . In Russian
It's funny, to hear Russian language at English chanel😊
From Sri Lanka: Mix experience here. many people use Pyjamas when going to bed. Mainly Pyjamas come with a sub-culture. example- within the Muslim community they use it as a proper dress.
Hello, that's not good to be dressed up on a sloppy way! I always try to look on my best even for going to the supermarkets😅
I believe you 'd apply for to become the Calgary's maire! You are for sure very populaire overthere.
I am born single and still am officially but living for long with a partenaire more as friends now. That's not good to be untitled. Changing of subject, Marc ,in another video we heard a kitten crying, just help it if you see it again helpless
English language is international however that's always good to try to learn other language . That's a way to get to people's heart to understand each other better and love each other
Ukrainiens wants to go on with the war there in their country while they emigrate with luxous cars. The poor ones are suffering while they enjoy out of their country, come on with them
"Da" means "yes" in Russian. "Tak" means "yes" in Ukrainian.
It was Russians, because « da » means « yes » in Russian. I can teach you to speak spoken Russian 😂
Thanks so much 🤗
@@MadEnglishTV Always 🤗
❤😊
Love you Mark cuz your fucking so cute❤❤❤
Almost all Ukrainians can speak and understand Russian language, but not everyone Russians can understand Ukrainian language
This woman is most likely from Ukraine, but she speaks Russian. The word: "Da" means : "Yes" but you need to speak Ukraine "Tak".
If the speaker says Tak, it means he/she speaks Ukrainian. If the speaker says Da, then it is mean she/he speaks Russian 😜
It russian language, Ukrainian is more melodic
I don't wear pyjamas , to sleep ,I only use a cotton T-shirt ;That's all ;very comfortable and soft cloth...🫠🫠🫠
