Man, the stuff you get done in an hour would take me a night lol.
Really nice explanation for a cool finish, thank you very much!
Fantastic work. Thank you for sharing the technique.
...and just in one hour? Wow!
So Dr Faust, I have to say that I paint daily and I’m subscribed to many different mini channels....your approach, however, makes the most sense to me and I find myself experimenting more with your teachings than anyone.
For instance, your witch hunter video where you stated that you don’t like using wet palettes because of your layering approach is SPOT ON! Wet palettes have a place but I find using them while layering results in a loss of control and my paints (especially more translucent ones) almost end up like washes and their application becomes muted.
One of us! One of us!
Long time watcher, first time commenter - Wow, I've wanted to know how to do this properly for a long time without even realizing I wanted it! Next mini gets this treatment :) Thanks Dr Faust, you are a great boon to this hobby!
you are amazing bro! never stop to make art!!!
Fantastic, I've always wondered how to do this, thanks so much for the video, can't wait to try it out.
Thank you Dr! Your videos are excellent! Packed full of top tips whilst being concise and easy to understand, exactly what I need! 😀
Would be interesting to see how to do blue-yellow, I've got a white dragon mini that I want to use both the warmer off-white and cooler pure white for so I'll definitely be interested in seeing some of that in another video.
Great video as always!
Stunning! Fantastic paint effect!
That looks really cool!
Awesome video - definitely a technique I’m keen to try. You might have just made me change my plan for my next mini.
Thanks for the new inspiration and video.
Wow
Backgroundmusic ftw! ;)
Cool.
Fantastic job Master, whats miniature is this? I like so much
It's Reaper. I forget exactly which one.
Very Impressive. Love your work. This is great for the noobs out there, inc me =)
I'm new and learning! What is the I in BIV? Blue _____ Violet?
Did you think your paintin similar to your layering video, I think that was 1:3 ?
Wonderful paint job! Where did you get the miniature from?
This is nice 💚👄💟 Have an amazing and blessed day everyone ❤️❣️
One question: what kind of tile are you using for your palette? Does it have to be specially coated or something like that?
Cold paint palette. I did a video on it.
Anyone know what that latest iteration of the Doc's 'cold palette' is? Looks like something different than the ice pack. Or maybe that's just towel/cloth covering it?
Still an ice pack. Just a different shape.
@@ThePaintingClinic Thanks, doc. The cold palette has been a game changer for me. I can't get wet palettes to work for me, summer or winter. Especially winter as we heat with wood, crazy dry in the house. Thanks for doing what you do!
