That is such a cute idea!!! If you are also still thinking about putting a mirror in your room, that would be a great place to put it! I think whatever you put in the little nook, there could be some lights behind so that it illuminates from the back. I think it would give it some depth and coziness!
A little tip: there's books towers that are like "invisible" and are design so when you fill them the books hide the shelve itself so it looks like what you have right now but is more practical because if you need a book from the bottom you don't have to move everything else...
Look up "floating shelves" for your book section. It'll be higher off the ground so it'll look more central and you wouldn't have an issue picking one. Also, they'd be less likely to fall! Very cute.
Girlfriend, you need to start measuring your space and reading the dimensions of things you’re buying hahaha. I made the same mistake when I was furnishing my first place, it will save you so much time and money if you measure twice and buy once! It’s looking so cute so far! Very excited for you :)
Your apartment is really getting a cute vibe! Lots of thought going into it! Love the new lamp and the hall bench! The glass wave is so pretty. ❤️ I would skip a runner on the coffee table (it doesn't add to your vibe) and put a tray twice the size of the smaller one to balance the size of the coffee table. Maybe put smaller tray on your kitchen table? Sorry, I think the book arrangement kind of looks like you didn't have any use for the nook so stacked your books there. 😏 What about another bookcase that is tall and fits into the width of the nook? I'm thinking you may not be permitted to screw things in the walls? A bookcase would organize your books and give you more decor space. Then a plant at the top that trails down would be great. Speaking of plants- plants in pretty pots through your apartment would give it a really homey healthy vibe. You could get pots like clay, terra cotta, rattan and coloured ones like your aqua and sage and pink etc. The wall behind your dresser- maybe a macrame piece, or large picture? A mirror would look really good but I think you said you don't want a mirror there. Last hint- balance out your little decor items with some larger ones such as a nice cool looking vase, plants, decorative bottle or container of some kind. Maybe a nice diffuser? Love your woods and colors! I'm glad you're having fun with it! ❤️💗
For the bookshelf, I recommend grouping things in 3, with different heights for added dimension. You could break up the picture frames by putting one on the left, and put the other one on another shelf on the right.. And stack your art books and put maybe the wave decor on top.. I think the bookshelf would look nice in the middle of that wall, and add a tall plant (snake plant would look cute) next to it. You could also put a hanging vine plant on the top and let it cascade down the bookshelf.. I feel like it's too close to the fridge, and the lamp maybe in the corner next to the tv.
you should get a cute headboard to put behind your bed and also i think you should get a big tray sort of thing to put on your coffee table to put decorations on and a sage green runner would be super pretty!!
AVA JULES.. it looks so homey and cozy and honestly just so amazing! i am so proud of you and everything you continue to accomplish. and on top of everything u have been busy with, you still make the time to film edit and post these amazing videos for us. i litteraly look forward to u posting all week. LOVE YOU LOVE YOU LOVE YOU SO SO SO MUCH🥺🤍
i love how you organized the books! i think another cool way you could organize them is by using wooden crates. i know how much you love wood and it could get rid of all the extra space. this is merely a suggestion but i think it would look so cool if you stacked the crates in different ways (maybe some horizontal and some vertical) and then put the books in the crates/around the crates! you could also organize the books differently in each crate like sitting upright or laying on their side!
Your apartment looks AMAZING!! They also have these “invisible bookshelf” things so it looks like book stacks floating on your wall and then you can break them up into sections and never have to pull from the bottom!
Everything looks so gorgeous!!! I suggest having some crystals around and in little clutters, maybe get some nice bottles and put candles in them and put that on top of your books shelf! I also suggest some hanging plants and little vases with tufts of dried flowers in them! Love your vids x
I’ve been waiting for this!! I love that you finally completed most of the decorations and it looks great!! ☺️👏🏽(love the personal touches in the living room and the bookshelf is gorgeous!)
Yes girls!!!! Add more sage green to your space so it don't looks too flat with the notral tomes . The sage green will make your space more alive and will make a green contrast with the notral tomes,♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
For the corner in your room with the books, get like a small bean bag for something and you could do floating shelves for the books. I think that’ll give you the reading nook your wanting with the Aesthetic vibe your looking for.
hi girly, for your two book towers, you should have fake vines going around that nook and add some fairy lights to the wall! i think it would look really pretty like that
It’s looking amazing Ava!! I love watching you grow into your new space and make it a home🥺🥰 I can’t wait to have my own space one day and vlog the journey!
Def a greener color for the runner! Look into getting a "lazy susan"- those are always helpful to have at the center of a dining room table or coffee table!
you are such an influencer. I feel like every time I watch one of your videos I feel so uplifted and empowered. It is always so enjoyable to watch your videos and I feel like you bring so much good into the world thanks avn
I’m so happy for you and everything that you’ve accomplished. I’ve been watching you for years and I seriously am so proud 💛💛 your videos have helped motivate me to do more for myself and take this time to really live the life I’ve always wanted to have
a little tip! my moms told me that odd numbered decoration will look best! an example: put like odd numbered decor on a shelf(like three books, two frames and a candle) like 1,3,5, odd numbered!
Some really nice tall plants would look amazing in different corners of your apartment like your book corner in your room and beside the shelf in the living room, also you have amazing taste!
You’re apartment is so nice and I love it so much. I can’t wait to move into my apartment and make it my own. I love you so much Ava and it’s crazy how much has changed in these past few months ❤️🤍
I love how everything is turning out!! I am especially in love with your shelves I think it looks amazing with how you decorated it and with the lamp! I agree with you about the coffee table it would look better with a sage green runner rather than a neutral one I’m just so happy for you everything looks so good!!
You truly have a lovely home. You’re very very lucky. Thanks for inviting us into your space. I’ll never live in a high rise in Hawaii but I enjoy getting your perspective and enjoy your personality so much. 🤍
Okay so about the runner I think it’s a really good idea to break up the space and I like the green idea, but maybe a more lacey or knitted runner would be better to add more texture. That way it also doesn’t just look like a random piece of material. I’m not an expert or anything so maybe that would be terrible but in my head it makes sense haha
Idea for your book tower: look into “floating shelves”… you can get them from a ton of places, for example the container store has some called the Umbra Silver Conceal Book Shelves that can give you an idea of what I’m talking about. If you hang them close to each other you can have it look like there are tons and tons of books stacked, but then when you need one at the bottom it actually only has a couple books on top of it since there are only ~5 books per shelf. But the shelves are completely hidden under the books.. I’m not sure if this makes sense but if you look at a picture it will make a lot more sense
your apartment is turning out so cute! i recommend getting 'invisible floating bookshelf' shelves on amazon to create the look of a stack of books, but allows you to reach for books a lot easier and it's more sturdy!
I’m so sorrryyyyy I’m not sure if I’m a fan of the DIY book shelf. I think it’s because of my anxiety 😂 but it is definitely beautiful in a very stressful way
AVA YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY KILLING IT GIRL. you. Get. The vibes. I lOVE that bench, you can even move it into the office for work purposes, but it LOOKS BEAUTIFUL SO FAR. the runner, needs to be a big pop of color!!! Get playful with it!!! Maybe a fun unique pattern!!! Get one smaller than the table with fun ends, either pointed or with tassel?? You live alone so get creative!!! I love seeing your style come together & continue to grow!!!! THRIFT THRIFT THRIFT!!! I can only imagine those Hawaii mamas got good stuff to donate!!! then you can repurpose and make use of a new treasure!!! definitely couldn’t of found the wave @ the thrift shop. That is so dope & one of a kind, great purchase.
LOOK FOR A RUNNER @ GOOD WILL🤩🤩🤩 fun pinks and dark greens, maybe blues?? PATTERN or funky!!! Or just bolder color!!! To make your beautiful table pop!!!!
I love how your apartment is coming together! I think you need some greenery around the place. Palms would totally fit the tropical vibe! (and plants are great to put in spaces where nothing else works)
I absolutely love the decor and the furniture you've gone with. You should be really proud of yourself and how far you've come in the past couple of years with every aspect of life. Thank you for being you x
Get a textured runner! Like something woven/wicker/checkered etc. To add some texture and pattern to the room! Also green would be so nice, maybe something with multiple shades :)
you should get a rattan basket for the bottom shelf of the shelving unit in your lounge room and store extra blankets and stuff in it! It would also match the little basket on your lounge room table as well :)
For the corner, I would suggest a plant shelf with terracotta pots. I think it would really look cool along with books messily stacked in between plants. Pothos and philodendrons are a way to go!
I love your whole vibe you’re doing for your apartment!!! So warm and cozy!! You should get some individual candle sticks of different heights for the other side of you giant coffee table!! It’s always good to play with heights on table tops!!
i was just binging all ur closet cleaning and room decor vids bc i was cleaning and i hoped u we’re gonna come out with a new one and then i get this notification
The runner can be fixed Ava. U can tie dye it in colours of ur choice or fabric paint it. It’ll be a cute DIY that will also add an element of your personality in the room. Also when someone will come over and praise the decorations,u can always have a proud moment of telling them that u made the table runner. 😁
Omg love your decorating vlogs!! What about a knitted/ macrame style runner for the coffee table? And in a light beige or white or turquoise to match other accent colours in your apartment already :) can’t wait to see the finished tour🥰
for you book corner you should make it like a "floating bookshelf" you can buy some mounts then stack your books on them and it'll look like they're floating since you won't be able to see the mounts holding them up. I think its better, and wheneverr you want to pick a book not all of them would fall :)
The way Ava goes "it almost stresses me out in a beautiful way" after showing the naked bookshelf. Tell me why when I first saw it my anxiety heightened, lmaoooo. V cute though
How about a little lamp behind the glass wave on the shelf. So you have the taller object in the back and light would reflect beautifully on the wave and give a very cozy vibe!
the living room is a pure dream!!! it’s so bright and airy while still being more cozy than most bright white, plain living rooms most people are having now (although i also love those sometimes)
Ava! You should look into "invisible bookshelf towers" you basically get the same effect as your towers but with actual shelves that you can't see for structure so you can actually pull out books without taking the whole thing apart. My mom has one and it looks amazing! Just a though, love all the decor and color schemes :)
I think if you put floating shelves where your book tower is it could give the same effect you were trying to go for with the tower and you could do multiple shelves so you can have multiple book stacks instead of two stacks so it would be easier to find books. Hope this helps!!
8:49 a cool decorative surfboard would fit perfectly in that little space
That is such a cute idea!!! If you are also still thinking about putting a mirror in your room, that would be a great place to put it! I think whatever you put in the little nook, there could be some lights behind so that it illuminates from the back. I think it would give it some depth and coziness!

You can also make them look like They’re floating which would be perfect to match the floating bed frame!
I was thinking the same 🤩
I am liking this idea. The first thing I thought was having to move all the books to read a book... I would just end up not reading the books.
agree! i thought floating shelves :)
yes! if you watch claudia sulewski last vlogs you will see it, she has it and looks so cute
The turquoise touches throughout your apartment really compliment the natural wood, I love it!
The apartment has been coming together so quickly! Can't wait for a tour 😭
me too!
🥰🥰
a big circle mirror would look adorable above your dresser!! plays with different shapes and will make your room look bigger!!

I agree!! bookshelf goals for sure
Yes girls!!!! Add more sage green to your space so it don't looks too flat with the notral tomes . The sage green will make your space more alive and will make a green contrast with the notral tomes,♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
there are these clear shelves I always see when people do the naked book shelf thing so you should try that if you want!!
FOR THE COFFEE TABLE: a crochet/knit cream colored runner would be so cute
the magnets would look so cute to pin polaroids on your fridge!!! cute and adds a personal touch 🥰
Maybe line the little magnets right about the ice/water dispenser on your fridge! Like a cute lil lining
For the corner in your room with the books, get like a small bean bag for something and you could do floating shelves for the books. I think that’ll give you the reading nook your wanting with the Aesthetic vibe your looking for.

Your vlogs gives a different vibe its soo positive exactly what i needdd...
a lace or crochet coffee table runner would be beautiful and would add some texture!
you should put a hanging light fixture above your books. Like a bunch of different length wires hanging! I think that would look so cute
I would’ve put some sort of faux plant in that cubby thing where your books are but the book tower is such a fun creative idea! Love you Ava💕💕
I’m so happy for you and everything that you’ve accomplished. I’ve been watching you for years and I seriously am so proud 💛💛 your videos have helped motivate me to do more for myself and take this time to really live the life I’ve always wanted to have
this makes me so so happy
i love your apartment the vibes are top teir!!

Yes! For the table runner, get the same color as the couch pillows and blanket!
i love those blue accents! the glass and mermaid are adorable 😍
You’re apartment is so nice and I love it so much. I can’t wait to move into my apartment and make it my own. I love you so much Ava and it’s crazy how much has changed in these past few months ❤️🤍

Ava's the queen of details. That magnetic clouds ❤ OMG
An ocean blue runner for your coffeetable would be gorgeous 😍💙🌊
You truly have a lovely home. You’re very very lucky. Thanks for inviting us into your space. I’ll never live in a high rise in Hawaii but I enjoy getting your perspective and enjoy your personality so much. 🤍
a big round mirror on the dresser would look amazing !!
you should put some hanging lights above the books in your bedroom! I bet it will let the little corner sparkle and make it fell very cozy😍
a round mirror above the dresser would look so good!!

i am DYING at the big pictures of Koda and the tiny picture of conner
all the colleen hoover books!! ah I love her and her stories so much! also i LOVED those candles, so cute!
Happy Super Bowl Sunday!!♥️
YOUR apartment is coming TOGETHER, it looks so pretty and feminine !!
A mirror in the hallway would be cuteee !!

My favorite section is the mini shrine of Kodaaaa! Love it!😍
i LOVE the vibes! good job ava!!! 🤍🤍🤍🤍

In love with this type of aesthetic!!! waiting for you to put the leds behind the tv it’ll look legittt
The clouds would be adorable earrings!
You have the best vibe!! can’t wait to see it all come together with a sofa :) 💓
The way there’s good lighting in you’re apartment amazes me! 💗💗
Hi ava! You can put a huge mirror above your dresser facing a painting or a LED sign above your bed. 😁 love your home!
you could always dye the table runner forest/olive green, or even blue would look really cute
i’ve seen a lot of layered table runners so you could always get a green one to layer under the neutral one
Get a textured runner! Like something woven/wicker/checkered etc. To add some texture and pattern to the room! Also green would be so nice, maybe something with multiple shades :)
I'd love some vintage touches, maybe unique art, mirrors, lamps etc. second hand
you should get a rattan basket for the bottom shelf of the shelving unit in your lounge room and store extra blankets and stuff in it! It would also match the little basket on your lounge room table as well :)
I LOVE how you got different wood tones for your furniture. It’s so pretty!!
IDEA ❤️💡 You should put photos on the fridge and you can use the clouds as the holders. Maybe it would look cuter? Idk lol
It’s always good to play with heights on table tops!!
i cant wait for the day we get to see a complete apartment tour with all the decor and furniture eeeeeee!!!
YES IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE i’ve been loving these videos and i’ll miss them when they’re done
i was just binging all ur closet cleaning and room decor vids bc i was cleaning and i hoped u we’re gonna come out with a new one and then i get this notification
You could use those cloud magnets to stick Polaroids or any pictures you have on the fridge
The runner can be fixed Ava. U can tie dye it in colours of ur choice or fabric paint it. It’ll be a cute DIY that will also add an element of your personality in the room. Also when someone will come over and praise the decorations,u can always have a proud moment of telling them that u made the table runner. 😁
i think a printed runner for coffee table would be cute!
I cant believe u finally have your own apartment. Watching you grow has been such a fun and interesting journey:)
:’) thanks for sticking around
Omg love your decorating vlogs!! What about a knitted/ macrame style runner for the coffee table? And in a light beige or white or turquoise to match other accent colours in your apartment already :) can’t wait to see the finished tour🥰
miss girl! get some macrame hangings!! they’re literally so cute and make a place feel so cozy
for you book corner you should make it like a "floating bookshelf" you can buy some mounts then stack your books on them and it'll look like they're floating since you won't be able to see the mounts holding them up. I think its better, and wheneverr you want to pick a book not all of them would fall :)
The bubble candles are the CUTEST
I absolutely love the vibe of your apartment!! Looking forward to more vlogs in the ~newly decorated~ place :)
the end result is so cute and aesthetic , it looks amazing
The way Ava goes "it almost stresses me out in a beautiful way" after showing the naked bookshelf. Tell me why when I first saw it my anxiety heightened, lmaoooo. V cute though
How about a little lamp behind the glass wave on the shelf. So you have the taller object in the back and light would reflect beautifully on the wave and give a very cozy vibe!
I’ve been really enjoying your moving vids! The apartment decorating is my fav!
love the colleen hoover book pile haha, so excited about the it ends with us sequel!
the living room is a pure dream!!! it’s so bright and airy while still being more cozy than most bright white, plain living rooms most people are having now (although i also love those sometimes)
The glass wave would be a cute book end!!
I LOVE THE BOOK AREA OMFG
I'm obsessed with the book tower
Ava! You should look into "invisible bookshelf towers" you basically get the same effect as your towers but with actual shelves that you can't see for structure so you can actually pull out books without taking the whole thing apart. My mom has one and it looks amazing! Just a though, love all the decor and color schemes :)

Lone fox is amazing at styling! You could watch his videos for ideas for styling your coffe table💕
