Sometimes, Gumi sounds so realistic that I tend to forget that she's not a real person
I like it.
Gumi is my favorite Megpoid/Vocaloid for that reason.
Especially on the cover of Candy Candy that Gumi sang.
Before I knew what a Vocaloid was my friend and I thought that I was an actual person singing.
Wait, they're seriously not real?!?! I thought they just used a voice actor!!!

***** Actually, "Megpoid" is the name of the product. The voicebank itself is called Megpoid, but its mascot/character is GUMI. Something similar happens with IA, the product's name is "Aria on the planets", but she isn't called Aria.
It's sort of funny how this whole thing really shows the problems he's dealing with and makes it really dramatic and then the anime came along, gave him one episode, and ended in him going "f*ck it" and drawing some abstract art like nothing ever happened
Mikagura Gakuen Kumikyoku, or Mikagura School Suite. It's not a great anime, but it didn't disappoint people like Mekakucity.
Nah, just this character is art-based. The actual anime is about a magical high school. Also if you want Mekakucity Actors to even make sense you need to have background knowledge on it.
Purple Neko the background info is just insane. You need to know what the heat-haze daze is, how it came to be, where the cast's powers came from, WHAT the cast's powers are, family relations... I'd reccommend reading the manga, "Kagerou Days", instead. Word of warning, right after the scene at the amusement park, the timeline resets. They don't tell you this, so it's jarring.
I hated how they did the ending on that anime. They made mistakes! Moon viewing recital was nothing like that! It could have been great if given more eps to actually tell the story! They only allowed them 12 episode in a 50 (maybe more) song series! (Considering how little amount of time they had to cram the series in, they did really well. I wish they had more eps!)
Btw, I'm talking about mekucity actors.
So, what I'm going to guess is that this person faces the same problem as any artist, thinking your work is trash. But he takes a step forward and says all his work is and so is he. He's a nice guy he just frightens others into thinking he is mean, and with others thinking he's mean he probably agrees with them. He's a great example of a perfectionist. He hates that he can't be perfect, and others just make him feel worse because he's not like them.

Well it's not just his work, he doesn't feel like he is good enough, he doesn't know what it's like to feel real love so he couldn't finishing his panting until he met the girl, which gave him a reason to paint, that's what I think
+Korra Light his story is he was good at sports and everything but then people started to hate him at how good and sports he was then he decided to paint and he was always praised but he thought he was terrible and when he met the eruna the girl he realized how good at painting he was thats what i think from watching the show and listening to this
All the vocaloid songs speak to me on a personal level, and constantly make me want to cry because of how much I can relate to them.
These songs talk about real things, and hold real value, so why don't more people talk about them? All I see are songs talking about asses and failed relationships, and then there are songs about growth and emotional insecurities being ignored.
Fucking, I love vocaloid for this reason

This sounds like my face as an artist, always judging myself and hiding away from others. Must be a common feature in any artist's mind. But I've gained friends, and soon my own canvas will open and be splashed with brilliant colors. I apologize for my ramblings. Goodbye.

..Eruna... Eruna's painting is what you call a MASTERPIECE
The way I see this is that this guy has natural talent in basically everything he tries, be it sports or art, but he hasn't yet found anything he actually enjoys enough to find it worth doing. Especially so when it comes to art, something he is praised heavily for being so good at. However upon meeting Eruna he is able to learn just what it means to be able to have fun with what he's doing.

I don't know about anything this series is about, but as an artist, I've never related to a song more in my life.
The video and character design also fits me well. I always paint in bright, happy colors - fully saturated. I want to make something big and beautiful and happy. I dye my hair a happy orange, yellow and pink. I try to put my ideals on the canvas. Everything I'm not but what I want to be.
But then I feel like I'm trash, because I just... stop painting. I get that art block all the time. I produce an art now maybe once every few months. I don't feel happy. It's hard to always strive for your ideals when you feel like you'll never be good enough to fulfill them. Every time I start painting or sketching or anything, it just feels like I'm not being genuine enough to show happy things on the canvas.
But I can't stop trying to paint. I can't stop wearing bright colors. I can't stop liking these ideals. I don't want to be a different person than the innocent and unrealistic me wants to be.
I have a hard time having friends. I'm not very social and my friends forget me, or I'm too social and annoy people. I don't get out much, especially since corona cost me my job. Not rich enough to go to school. I just live off of whatever scraps I can get. I find someone I admire and then I'm motivated to draw. I can make a masterpiece in a couple hours if I have someone to brighten up my cloudy, dark vision.
It's even harder when someone close to me died recently, who was extremely bright and optimistic and always stubbornly fought for others. A real inspiration. I want to draw those happy things and make the world a happier place in her place, but it's hard not to just feel unmotivated.
I want to learn this song if I can, even if I've been trying to learn it for years. The melody is kinda boring, but it's the best song to scream to.
I want to be flashy.

Ah, really miss this series. Wonder what ever happened, thought there were going to be more songs... Also, Kuzuryu was done dirty in the anime.
I love it how Gumi's voice reflects so many emotions and is so full of life something I don't see too much in vocaloid.

Okay, after being on my mobile, and reading some of these comments, I'd like to ask: PLEASE DON'T SAY THAT MIKAGURA SCHOOL SUITE COPIED OFF OF KAGEROU PROJECT. By saying things like that, not only are you discrediting Last Note, Akina, and everyone else behind the project, but you're saying their work isn't credible, down-rating it to Kagerou Project. WHICH IS COMPLETE AND TOTAL BULL. Similarly sounding music and characters with mild resemblence/ personality traits DO NOT MAKE SOMETHING COPIED. Kagerou Project wasn't the first idea to have been created to have song series/novel adaptions/manga adaptions. Maybe it's the most popular, especially of now, but that doesn't give you people the right to use that as an excuse to down-rate other projects. Comparing KagePro and Mikagura, now that's something respectable. But outright saying that Mikagura just 'copied' off of KagePro, and adding casual remarks don't make the comment any less unbearable. I want to believe that none of you intentionally wanted to bash on Mikagura, but know that your unintentional words seem very rude, and completely disrespectful in regards to Last Note, Akina, and even Jin and Shidu. There are so many things you could have said, like "Thanks for the subs, Ame!" (which, while I know people have probably commented on that, I don't see it as often as these other ridiculous comments) or "Wow this song is catchy/relatable" or even if you wanted to compare it to something, in a respectable manner. "So and so reminds me of so and so, because..." BUT PLEASE. FOR THE SAKE OF MIKAGURA DO NOT SAY THEY COPIED OFF KAGEPRO. (also, I do not apologize for defending this project no matter how minor the detail! I do apologize if I seem like I'm singling out people, or if I'm excluding the incredible comments on this video, to which I'm well aware of.)

I'm in art school(college) atm going fourth year and I can relate on this in so many level. Like I just started painting when I entered and such professors call it trash,straight at your face. I was forced to take this course OKAY!? I'm sorry if it looks trash at your opinion but a single painting has my overflowing emotions on it. Glob I wish someday they would understand.

The only other PIU song by Last Note. is Setsuna Trip and it's in almost every rhythm games, including Bandori and SEKAI

Oh you are right, i just search the google and see the wiki so i now have to see how this story go to be sure but so far the theme seem to be more focused on school life and the supernatural stuff seem to only supplement it.

Un día cualquiera de salida con mi mejor amigo en la tarde fuimos a una sala de juegos llamada Plazapall (no no existe). En la maquina de baile empezó a sonar este tema, mi BF tanto como yo nos interesamos inmediatamente porque la canción resulto jodidamente increíble puesto que ambos veíamos anime (el ya no actualmente pero yo nunca lo dejare, jajajajaj) y pues el interés en temas así en normal. Desde ese día conocemos a está canción como "nuestra canción" (ojos, nada gei, xd). Fueron buenos tiempos aquellos... Años después mi BF encontró la canción por ahí, porque en el pasado si bien nos encanto esa canción no pudimos hacer más nada que solo escucharla en la maquina de baile... Y ahora me encuentro escuchando este pedazo de tema como 6 años después de cuarto de secundaría. Que bendición, amo a ese weis (BF).

The going home club from what i read is what they called the students who didn't participate in after school activities. It's sorta a joke not really a club. But Seisa still seems like a really neat character. I really hope this series gets an anime to.

I like the video, for what I was able to figure out about it from the subs. It was difficult at some points to follow the subs because the colors and the speed of the video combined made it difficult to read. Speed, obviously, can't be helped, but the other one can be fixed. Is no one else saying anything about this or is it only difficult for me?
