When Tiger says "Terrahawks, stay on this channel, this is an emergency", I always felt like he was talking to me and the audience, as if we were part of the Terrahawks Earth Defense Team against the forces of Zelda, Yungstar, Sistar, Itstar and her monsters. One of my favorite shows since I was a small kid. Thanks!

I was born Generation Z and I was introduced to this show 8 years ago, and the whole Gerry Anderson universe. They have amazed me a lot. A greeting and a hug from Mexico.

Same for me except in England. I’m very glad I was introduced to the Anderson universe at a young age since become a childhood thing to me that I will definitely cherish

Back in late 80s as an infant I used to freak out watching Zelda .. would cry my eyes off but loved the show so much that I would watch it behind the door .. still crying but watching 😅
Much better than today s tv shows
Being born at the end of the 50s I grew up watching Fireball XL-5, Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet etc; and I think Terrahawks was Gerry Anderson's weakest effort but I did love the zeroids led by the Sergeant-Major, voiced by the wonderful Windsor Davis continuing his Sergeant-Major Williams persona is what made Terrahawks watchable.
Literally cry more, Terrahawks was the highlight of Saturday afternoons 40 years ago.

Terrahawks | Expect The Unexpected Part 1 | Extended Version - Full FREE Episode the one queen was involved with - that tv show of puppetry murder and dastardly deeds. was that a japanese venture or via the house of gerry anderson? as for this - yeah immature venture but the nostalgic value compels me to watch a bunch of puppets do battle... zelda does look like one of the evil dead faces... i suppose you will have to watch the film. was her voice, zelda's, undertaken by the lady of spanish infanta fame, Miriam Margolyes?
The attention to detail was incredible definitely a fun show to watch

Only discovered this recently and I like it!
Watching Terrahawks as a kid in the 80’s I didn’t appreciate the changes made to the show as it progressed. Certainly the grim, serious tone evident here in the first episode provides quite the striking contrast to the more lighthearted, comedic style that would soon set the standard.
It’s also weird watching Yung-Star initially portrayed as initially being quite competent and even menacing! Alas given that his distinctive voice is a gift for comedy it was perhaps inevitable he’d be relegated to the show’s resident buffoon after the first few episodes. 🙂

I had thought about this show, but had forgotten the name. The thing i remember most was the zeroids.
Definitely the creepiest puppets ever made. And that's the humans...

i was 5 or 6 when this aired and I watched it although it did terrify me... i always remember the end titles fondly as they were always different as to would win the noughts and crosses game :)

Jamie this one of favourite when l was growing up in the 1980s when l 7 or 8 years old and l have it on dvd it is a shame there wasn't a remake like captain scaret and was there a video game from Teaarhawks

This is the first time I've seen Terrahawks despite being a huge Gerry Anderson fan from Stingray through UFO and everything in between as I left the UK at the end of the 1970s. I have to say it, and perhaps this is because of not having childhood associations with the show, but the overall quality from the model work, ship design, character sculpting, music, voice acting, and writing is far below the level of Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, or JOE 90.
I thought that too at first, but the storylines make up for it.

I have a set of terrahawks dvds done by a&e and theyre so blurry its hilarious.
Old tape masters. The most recent DVDs and Blu-rays are film print remasters. Much better!

Love Gerry Anderson early stuff Thunderbird Captain Scarlet Stingray. But Terrahawks was crap saw a few series said it would not last.
In fact it had more episodes in total than many Anderson series, and has the most of any series of you include the audio drama continuation! Sorry you didn’t enjoy it!

@@JJONNYREPP I can't speak to any pornographic tendencies (since I have never noticed them) though the way Ninestein seems to mock the way Lieutenant Hiro talks is just a dick move.

I was a young kid in the late 60s/70s who only really saw Stingray, Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet as repeats and then UFO & Space: 1999 still not in my teens so I was quite looking forward to this "new" Gerry Anderson series. Imagine my disappointment when I watched this. I thought it was awful then and I still think it's awful now.
