Terrahawks used to play on the one TV channel we had in Pakistan called PTV, circa 1986. I must have recorded this episode because the dialogue is imprinted on my brain. I have watched it after some 35 years and I could literally recall every line of dialogue, every soundbite, every frame. I want to scream! Hahaha
One of my favourite episodes. Feels a lot like classic Gerry Anderson. Has some of the best music in all the episodes of Terrahawks. Wish I could get hold of it!
Not watched a Terrahawks episode for years, very good, the zeroids are so well done,Windsor Davies magnificent as Zero and No 101 is so camp! What a remarkable man Gerry Anderson was,we all owe him so much❤️.
When I was 5 Zelda scared the living daylights out of me... Watching her again now... I get goosebumps.. and the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.... She's evil. Lol. Easily the most terrifying villian in children's television history !! I just imagine her sitting in a factory storeroom somewhere plotting to get out and kill us all
I watched every episode from behind the sofa, because she absolutely scared the ever-living bejesus out of me. I think I missed about half of every episode on first viewing, because I was cowering down every time Zelda was on screen
9:15 LT Hiro looks at Dr. Ninestein thinking: Did you just take the piss out of my accent?? lololol (Jeremy Hitchen did the voice for both characters) Nice to hear the unmistakable Windsor Davies as Sergeant Major Zero.
Sean Connery? Do you mean Sergeant Major Zero? Windsor Davies? The guy who played Sergeant Major Williams in 'It ain't Half Hot Mum'? How could you mix up a Welsh accent with a Scottish one?
Please find more episodes .. flaming good .brings back memories of my childhood .should still be in production .,surely it would do well . No cgi all real meat and bones love this show also one similar not sure of name, was very dark darker than this.
That was 'Battle of the Planets'.. a Sandy Frank adaptation of the Japanese anime series 'Gatchaman'. Each team member drove a different vehicle which joined together to form the Phoenix.. Great show, loved it as a kid. The original series though was very violent and graphic all of which was edited and dumbed down so as not to offend the American audience. When I was a teenager I got ahold of a Japanese version of it, wow, huge difference.
Starfleet was puppets and they flew the x bomber and had 3 fighter ships that joined together to form the mighty dai-x. Loved that show. It got released on dvd a while ago.
When I was small back then in the 80's, Terrahawks would sometimes come on. I didn't pay much attention to the episodes but I loved the theme tune. My father however having growing up in the 60's and loving Star Trek and Thunderbirds (also by Gerry Anderson), really enjoyed Terrahawks and would focus intently on the episode storylines.
Never heard about this "Terrahawks" series ever before. It feels a bit like the illegimate child of "The Thunderbirds" and "Captain Scarlet" . Aka the well hidden result of a passionate activity 😉😁
Gerry Anderson excellent 👍 me and the mrs still watch it 🙈😂 I’m an ex songwriter but my absolute dream is to get time to write this idea I have for a Gerry Anderson style series, really dark like Captain Scarlet, about a prison like society in the future, a bit thx1138 but less sci fi, more like Logan’s run... I’ve been trying to set out characters on my breaks when on nights, it’s an idea I’ve had since I got majorly bored of songwriting 😂
Well, this proves I never watched all the episodes of the DVD set I own! All this time I thought Alan Pattillo -- my favorite Anderson director -- had done only one episode of Terrahawks! Not "exactry" so! Thanks.
The fact that Ninestein imitates Lt. Hiro's accent, and the latter just says nothing is just really strange to watch in 2020. Like I get at the time (in UK 80s tv) maybe its considered a funny joke but the character even responds with silence as if he's heard this joke about his accent a hundred times. Its a very weird and completely random moment, seems more like something out of South Park.
To me Battlehawk was equivalent to TB2, Terrahawk similar to TB1, Spacehawk like TB5 and Treehawk like TB3. I don't think there was anything close to TB4. Hawkwing a cross between TB1 and 2
Wow. That took me back! It was a regular thing when this was broadcast on Sundays in the UK, for a load of us to go round a mate's house and watch Terrahawks. In 1983, I was 20, and it was a great way to end the week. Thanks. It was a good show, and I do remember some episodes being quite dark - the first one with MOID*, and one where one of the Ninestein clones is killed - maybe it was the same episode, but I always found MOID more than a little creepy *Master Of Infinite Disguise: an otherwise faceless alien, used as a weapon by Zelda.
Hmmm . . . I like the show all except for the villains. I've found it hard to swallow that Zelda and her Alien Army to be alien androids. Their aesthetics feels so anachronistic to the futuristic atmosphere of the show. What was the creative decision to make Zelda & Co. look like hags from a Grimm Brothers fairy tale? That's what I'm curious to know.
Times have changed, even at the time it wasn't meant to be overly derogatory, you can clearly see Tiger respects Hiro. I have an Asian friend that watched this with me years back and it made him laugh.
What other episodes of Terrahawks would you like to see available on UA-cam? (And don't say all of them 😉)
All of them!
Anything Zeroid focused!
@@ireallydidntwanttomakeanac575 yep, i second that SiiRRRR.
all of them would be nice
As many as you are willing to put up they are boss
My dad introduced me to terrahawks two days ago and i really Like it
Yes!!
I remember watching this episode when I was a toddler.
I was born in the 90s but this episode aired.
I never tire of Gerry Anderson. Guess there's a child in all of us
reminds me of the "Legs Akimbo theatre company " from the League of Gentlemen ..... "Put Yourself In a Child".... 🤔😆
I remember watching this on Volume 2 that I got in 2011 and I still got it today along with the other volumes of Terrahawks.
'We are running out of feet'.
LOL.
We only have two feet.
More feet needed. That part was hilarious 😆😆

Not yet.

That looks like a new Thunderbirds 60s show series 😄😂😂😂
Neat how Sistar's hair moves around ,,funny,,
The setting of TerraHawks is year 2020

oh, this takes me back!
dosent the ship @ 10:52 look like the metta probe in space 1999 and the ship antaries from the series with the same name?
Funny robots
I guess they will be like so in real time
Oh the memories, wish i kept the toys from this ££$$. Thanks so much for posting it.
These shows help me enjoy my life more! 🤘😊
Excellent perfect Saturday lunch time viewing.
Why does her wig fall down and his glasses move up? Lol. Great episode! Just yesterday I received the whole series on Blu Ray. :)
They've " Captured Lightning in a Bottle Again"!!! My grandkids can feel the magic I felt in the 60's..... Kpvideonews
And they say nothing good ever came out of the 1980s! Good old Terrahawks, still finding a new audience :)
Love it! But, "Nasser" for NASA??
National Administration for Space Science, Exploration and Robotics, right?
@@GerryAndersonTV Ah, now THAT makes sense. Cheers!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY TERRAHAWKS!
Tiger sounds exactly like Jeff Tracey saying their organisation remains top secret
Awesome
Queller Drive from Space:1999?
Ninestein: "Terrahawks, stay on this channel. This is an emergency!"
Ten - ten.
Memories! I loved terrahawks as a kid.
The one puppet allways reminded me of Roy Schrider from Jaws.
@2manynegativewaves yeh Al
Star Dog yeah I always thought that aswell haha
Man I thought I was so grown up watching this.... 😆😆😆
Neil Breen as Dr. Ninestein!!!
At any point in INFINITE space you are IN INFINITY.
What's up with the pronunciation of NASA as "NASAR"?
I can understand that Robo-balls move by ROLLING but I can't see how Dicecube bots can. They should be purely stationary.
What an absolute treat! Thank you x

What year was this made, is looks very different to what I know of Gerry Andersons stuff🤔

Is this a brand new episode?!?
It’s a free episode from the original series

lovely
I keep wondering in amazement how you managed to make the Zeroid’s mouths illuminate before the age of LEDs. They look great!
The genius of the late Richard Gregory
When terrahawks first came on I thought where are the strings? Terrahawks could be the best of the lot.
