Most people listening to this for the first time don't understand the pure magnitude of this song at the time it was released. This is a great song by itself, but when it was released, it was such a huge step in the evolution of dubstep. I remember when I first heard this a few hours after the upload. I was blown away, I was literally speechless.
When you compare it to other 2010 tunes, there really was a step forward. Dubstep massively changes every year
that's because it was actually a song, it had a beginning a middle and and end, you could actually sing along to this, dubstep back then had groove you could actually dance to it, and it had a soul it had something that felt dark and underground, and it was a new experience to everybody but now people want the hardest and the shittiest stuff out there, no musical quality what so ever.

Damon Tafoya the thing for me is, the dubstep tunes from 2009-2011 had a completly different feeling.. dunno how and why it changed, but at my school back in the days i was the first guy into dubstep and dnb, and these had been the tunes i showed everyone.. this flipped my whole world of music understanding.. i was really fascinated how these sounds were made. tracks like these made me and my friends which were into dubstep really excited about the genre!

i almost always cry at the start of stuff like this remembering those times, and not giving it my all when i had time to make this stuff, made amazing mashups but had to aay the bills and couldnt ever get into the tech side for producing it wasnt fun but fk i miss it and just feel like i should have done more then and ill always regret that, sad cause i always feel that at the beginning of any nostalgic dub song hard for me to listen tbh but gets easier... life huh...

Feed me remixed this song himself. A lot more melodic soothing version of the first part of this song. On his BBC radio 1 essential mix he mixes the other version into the drop on this one. So good. Think it's called relocation or something its on escape from electric mountain.
