I am 54, and this song is what I wake up to every morning and it is the PERFECT way to start the day. It's been that way for 10 years and it never gets old. In bed. in the car. Cleaning the house. Working. It was and still is Netsky's greatest hit and to do it at 20 years of age, is un-fucking-believable.
That's awesome I wish my dad lol listened to dnb he is a couple years older than you he's turning 60 this year and he says this gives him a headache lol
It seems like everyone that was around the EDM scene from 2009-2012 had the best times of their lives. I know I truly did. Going to outdoor shows all summer and warehouse party's all winter. When everyone fell in love with dubstep. I will always be a fan of DnB and Dubstep from 2009-2012. It will always have a special place in my heart. I rarely listen to newwer tracks nowadays. I'm stuck in 8 years ago. Such good times. Man o man.
It's crazy how times can change so much huh? I used to get every single release from Hospital, thinking they were the best ever, yet now I haven't even checked any DnB releases for 4 years...
Yeah, BBC and Byrd's weird fetish for jungle nuked this scene, netsky got fisted by sony into making crappy commercial-appeal songs, and liquicity has devolved into "random nameless vocal girl chimes in one tone over unoriginal tracks for the 50th time". I just want 2008-2009 back.
12 years later and this tune... What can I say? Absolute masterpiece, takes me back to my secondary school days, just discovering DnB for the first time, and I still, STILL, come back to this tune! In times of hardship and all time lows this track never fails to pick me up and make me realise how precious life is. Big up’s Netsky, you deserve every accolade you get. You and this track make life worth living. LONG LIVE MEMORY LANE!💚

To me, this song reminds me when i bought my first car, listening to dnb for the first time and driving at night. With the smooth sound playing through my subs and watching the lit up road ahead. An amazing feeling to look back on.
Now 19, remember as a kid in the backseat during so many long drives at night would just be mesmerized by the sound of this song and the highway lights pass by. Time and memories is just a crazy phenomenon of life man.
I just recently discovered dnb and I feel like I've stumbled upon a gold mine with these old Netsky tracks. Crazy to be hearing these songs for the first time 11 years after their release.
Bruh, I'm so fucking jealous you get to discover all this now. I wish I could forget about Netsky and rediscover all of his music again, what a great time that was. Discovering great music is one of the best things ever.
Allot of people may listen to this track today and not think much of it, but it has a special place in hearts of everyone who was there in 2010 to experience the uprising of UKF, Deadmau5, Skrillex and the whole DnB/Dubstep scene before it was frowned upon. Same goes for "B Complex - beautiful lies", I think these tracks are a piece of history at this point.
+Macha Mocha I'd say that there was a DnB renaissance which started in the early 2010's. In the late 90's drum and bass was also very, very popular at least here in Europe. This renaissance led new artists and subgenres to rise in popularity. Not sure if dnb is that popular anymore as I'm writing this, though.
It was a good time, still lots of good stuff coming out. In the 90's it was going strong, I remember Jungle music being a big hit. It will come back round as its such a smooth genre to listen to I find!

I've some special history with this song. I first listened to it in a Left 4 Dead 2 video about special infected tips & tricks. At the time, I had a bad PC and really wanted to play L4D2 at the graphical fidelity that the person who made the video was playing at. So, when the day arrived to be able to finally buy my own gaming PC, I listened to this on repeat just anticipating it, and once I got it, it was glorious. So now, whenever I'm about to get an upgrade to my PC (which I built myself, have since ascended from pre-builts), I always listen to this song. It motivates me and reminds me of entering the high performance gaming world and being mesmerized by it. Thank you Netsky, and thank you Roydus for making the L4D2 video~ I now have a RTX 4090 and i9-14900KS ;)

I still come back at the end of all these years to hear this masterpiece < 3
Thank you from my heart Netsky for creating something so meaningful. You truly belong in the soundtrack of my life.
11 years on and still takes me down memory lane, i was 14 when this was released and it helped shape my taste in music today, big love
Nostalgia brought me back and the fact we will never have dnb like this from Netsky again...
Thank you Netsky, and thank you Roydus for making the L4D2 video~
I now have a RTX 4090 and i9-14900KS ;)
Wow that nostalgia just made me cry. Feel like less of a man after that. Take me back to those days.
This is my favourite ever Drum & Bass track.
The good old days when Netsky's tracks used to make me feel like I was on mdma when I was sober. Fuck yeah.
So many feels in this track.
After more than 10 years I've found this again, omg, so nostalgic.
This brings back so many good memories. Music brings happiness and serenity.
